I realize something about John Waters' movies - he shows his own hometown of Baltimore the same way the writers' show Springfield; he basically says "Yes, it's a hellhole, but we love it."
I'm a straight male and I have to admit, this is one of my favorite episodes, just funny throughout the episode, and johns voice is like Idk soothing. That's the only thing I've seen that John is in lol
@@ikarikakarot From my experience most kids and young people in general nowadays are not interested in old media or how different things used to be like in the past at all.
Marge - "he prefers the company of men.."
Homer - "who doesn't!?"
my heart is palpitating, hehooooo!
Marc Donnellan you're all sick!
Kirbae he is quoting the show...what point are you attempting to make?
Jeremy Wright 😒
Some of the most brilliant writing. My favorite line in an already fantastic episode.
Children love John Waters because he is genuinely kind.
And enthusiastic too
XD at 0:55 "cause i look like a child molester" well at least he can make fun of the situation.
That’s how you know he’s safe 😂😅
Smithers: "So this is your sick mother."
John: "Don't do this to me Waylon".
kids walk up to you and say "you're on the Simpsons?" pretty smart kids.
In fairness when the episode aired the character looked just like him and even now he still had that very distinct moustache

It wasn't 2007, it was 1997.
J Vocalz what
Right...2007 would have made it the tenth anniversary. They correctly said twentieth. Your arithmetic is faulty, I'm afraid.
@@fuzzballzz36first aired 2007
John Waters seems like a cool guy, I wouldn't mind sitting down for a drink and hear him tell some of his stories
I really thought he'd talk about Homer's homophobia and how it compares to now. But cool non the less
Children love him because of Pink Flamingos and Multiple Maniacs, not because of the Simpsons.
there's a spark in my hair....get it get it.
J Vocalz hot stuff comin through
john waters is such an intresting and weird guy
Where has the time gone!?!? I'm sooo old now!!! 🙄
I wish John Waters was my uncle.
this was one of my favourite episodes, "my heart is palpitating, hehoooo!!"
This is my families favourite episode of the Simpsons. Such a classic!
0:07 it was NOT first aired in 2007
Everybody dance now!
All of his interviews crack me up, man. Not just as a fellow born in Baltimore. Talk about “can’t watch with a straight face.”
What a LEGEND!!
"I look like a child molester" - John Waters
I would die if John Water's did an asmr video.
I'd be a great uncle line was hilarious.
What a nice guy
John Waters is a legend...
I wonder how tempted Ron Hauge was to call the episode Homer Sexual. I guess then he figured Homer Phobia tied into the plot more.
We work hard,we play hard
Love this episode 😂

Marge was the bad one in that episode. Homer was perfectly fine with him until Marge had to drill the point into homer's head.
John is one of the scariest person i'd ever seen
0:54 made me chuckle
Oh be nice!
