I used to manage a local music store here in Baltimore, and John Waters was a regular customer of ours. Such a down to earth, charming man. He absolutely detests when people make a fuss over him...but the more "unique" you were, the more likely you were to serve him.

The obvious change was the death of Divine. Yes, it could be said that neither Divine or Waters could have done it without the other. I guess in the end I agree with you.
