Ant, The 'Chinesium' ply wood is recycled plywood byproducts used for bulk item packaging only. We see it all the time in Australia. I use 1/2 inch 13mm plastic truck air brake line in my shop. Easy to work with. been using the ones I have for over 20 years. UV can damage it over time but you can also put it underground. Fittings are affordable in bulk
I love fleamarkets like that with old tools and parts. Always interesting stuff to discover. And nice that you show us your Trash-Bonfire. Here in Switzerland we make them on the 1st of August, our National Day. The bonfires here were probably used as warning signal beacons on top of the hills. They were lit in case of an attack or danger, kinda like they show in the Lord of the Rings Movie.
It's always a great video when we get to see "Super Mom" on her lawn mower! That big "thing" under the bonfire may be a ship from outer space. Now, lets talk about that "junk sale". I love going to those and I saw at least 142 things I would have bought (143 if that kid will sell the peddle car).😁You keep videoing and we'll keep watching.😉

If you run into a big boulder, you might try exposing the sides, drilling holes in a line with a hammer drill, and then getting (or making) 10 or 20 feathers and wedges and split it the old fashioned way. You just go down the line with a hammer and give them each a good blow, then wait a minute or two once they are firm. You'll hear the tension by the tone the metal makes, and very few rocks can withstand the forces. Also works great on old concrete without good rebar. Found your channel this spring and just caught up on most of your videos. Just wanted to say you have a great channel, great projects, and you make great videos. Not to mention you've really improved your homestead and documented it well. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride
It should be more like 2 or 3 dollars per feather and wedge. I have a small set of the 5/8 inch ones, and a normal hammer drill handles that pretty well, and it's plenty of splitting force. Also the most common size sold in the US market. Most of them come in a pack of about 6 or 10.
oh man, love your sense of humour..."gather around a bonfire with your family & stuff.... YOOHOO" literally made me laugh out loud. :) Luv your videos sir, keep up the great work.
Ant, look up "Goodyear 3/8" red rubber hose" that's the stuff you need for air hose. I've had a 75 foot length of it for almost 20 years and I use it often, if you keep it clean it will last just about forever, it's rated for up to 180 pounds of pressure. Copper pipe is ok but it gets moisture condensation inside the pipe and it will eventually damage your tools. You could try using PVC pipe, it's good up to 150 pounds of pressure. That swap meet is cool, we have them here in the USA and some of them are 100 acres. Hi SuperMom..... no more Dukes of Hazzard jumps with the lawn mower! lol She's so sweet, you are lucky to have her as your mom.
Plot twist, it's not a rock formation but an old soviet bunker hatch or something like that. Kidding of course but would be kinda neat to uncover some sort of complex buried and forgotten. :P
Had a workshop that uses 2" pipe for main compressor line around the walls, T-reducers for air-hose outlets, acted as a fairly decent reservoir as well!
My friend, whose a retired auto shop teacher, just sold his pink Cadillac, it had the big huge fins and the cone like bulb covers. An awesome car that screamed “Look at ME!” It’s so big that the inside, all done in white leather, was, I swear, like a huge living room! Thanks for the episode, loved it!
The fire safe for the batteries is genius. Makes me consider a larger version for my shop/garage using an old metal wardrobe and rock wool insulation for paint storage.

The magnetic catch on your 'fire locker' is probably not the best idea. In event of a fire the expansion of heated air, etc. will pop the door open and feed air to the fire. A positive cam lock simply made would be a better positive latch. Also you might think of putting a water line to above the cabinet and installing a pretty cheap residential sprinkler head above it. In the catastrophic event of a battery fire it would cool and contain the damage. Last time I bought one they were like fifteen or twenty dollars. I always install them in boiler rooms for baseboard heat in residences. You can charge them with air over water if your shop freezes so the line will not freeze but will still be operative.
Hmm yeah. May add a latch for it
Connect up some of your Hydraulic hoses to make air line . . .you've already got them dig through and find the longest, either cut off the ends and connect together with straight tube and jubilee clips/ hoses clamps and jobs a gooden . .
