That scissor analogy really helped me picture what Leucine zippers do. But I was lowkey scared you were going to accidentally cut your finger off. The things we do to be a helping hand. Thank you so much!

10 years later and I am still here. The reasoning behind the name flows well into how it functions. ShomuBiology always!

I have recently discovered the path of many, many, illness. The entire leucine zipper is mutated in myself and many, many of the individuals that have illness like mine. I have the explanation to diseases like aids, dercums disease, EDS, cancer, and so much more but I have no one to give all of my research to. My research explains 60% of the populations illness'. Thank you so much for making these videos because it confirmed that I am correct. Maybe at some point, more researchers will understand and it will change the world. I would love to communicate with you as you seem to have a very good understanding of the leucine zipper.

Sir, Can you please make something which briefly describes all well known alpha motifs, beta motifs and alpha-beta motifs.
Something like, I saw your "all briefly described" video and then I checked out this video for "Specifically Leucine Zipper" or the other one "Specifically Zinc Finger", and then you can link all these "Detail of each motif" videos to that "Brief description" video.
Like one video with Rossmann Fold, Tim Barrel, Coiled Coil, etc "all described shortly" is highly desired, later for "further details" we can check other stuff.

Hi Suman, you have a very helpful and valuable serial of biology lectures here! but you need to listen to your audience to improve your videos. There's kind of echo or resonance in the background which is very annoying. Also your voice gets low when you go near your board. So I suggest you using a microphone you can hung in your clothes and walk around with easily. Best of luck and keep going

Sir, if u r less familiar with any topic plz don't do that video on audience's request. This was a little more prepared than zinc finger motif but it confused me with what I studied. I studied that R group of leucine interdigitate with each other and dimers are formed, but u all together changed the structure and dimer formation procedure. All ur videos on motifs are making me sick. 😭😭 Either tell me the book to study from coz from which studied it's different.
