These hype videos are groovy, but an overview guide / breakdown would be much more useful and interesting for people looking to actually purchase this thing, especially in the wake of the "official launch" video. A long-form video that explains and demonstrates Jetson One's capabilities and characteristics would be great. When can we expect to see something like this?

Sorry if it were that great it'd be selling out like hotcakes. Something is really smelling rotten here, like its ground effect being pimped as an aircraft. Why aren't we seeing stunning high altitude views? I haven't seen these flying at an airshow either... fisy.. lutefisk anyone?
I predict that in a year there will be an IPO, they will sell shares for several billions of usd, surely they will suddenly cost “more than Ford” and after a year will finally bankrupt. But surely I hope someday to see them really flying high, fast and everywhere
The cost is prohibitive. But fortunately there are no
proprietary patentable elements so when the copycats focus on it the price will drop. Have patience, the new guys will solve the price point and energy storage problems.

Glad they are coming out with a version for non-private pilots. Manufacturing, sales, and distribution in the United States would be great.

I think if battery technology progresses far enough we should see 2 seater versions that can act as short distance air taxis. That would be the real future. And perhaps AI navigated Air- "highways" that don't intersect with commercial flight paths, could be established.

For that to be possible they need to be airborne a lot longer. 15 minutes flight time is way too damn short. And they gotta fly higher too

Whit the numbers of your homepage. The Jetson ONE has a total mass of 181kg. To simply hold
this mass in the air (no acceleration or travel at constant speed) you need around 44kW (this is calculated whit 100% efficiency, which is not possible in real condition).
You claim on your website the time this thing will fly is around 20min. So in total your batterie has to store 52MJ in total. A modern LiPo batterie could store around 0,55MJ/kg. So your batterie should have a weight around 95,5kg.
How do you fit 95,5kg batterie in a total weight of the vehicle of 86kg ??? Are the motors made of antimatter? Or do you simply break the law of physic?

All i hear is music, i want to hear what the jetson sounds like! And hiw high does it fly? Will it have any saftey like a deployable parachute or prop guards?
Hopefully it will have swappable batteries. Should make the motor struts with an airfoil cross-section so you can get some lift like they do with the Black Fly.
LOL, long time before this will be in the general publics hands! The laws aren't even made for these crafts yet.
Please add a 40 HP ultralight aircraft engine and make it a hybrid. You can go fully electric once batteries can go longer distances.

It needs pedal assist attached to a propeller in the back for forward momentum and it needs wings. 25 miles commutes should be the minimum.

You could make one with some lightweight wheels on it so it could either ride on the ground or fly when needed/desired.
I would look into adding in a paraglide and take the weight off of the motors for lift and use them for vtol and power.

They should combine it. Electric for takeoff and IC engine while cruising, and in the meantime the engine charges the batteries too

Absolutely the best looking mav so far. Look forward to seeing more that's to come, personally being a drone pilot,if I ever did get one I'll be pushing it and seeing what it can do!

I'd like to see a walk-around explanation of the build. I'm not saying these artsy fartsy videos are faked, but there are people who COULD easily fake what we are seeing. So just take a phone video of the thing as you walk around and handle it, and show it taking off and flying without cuts.
