- While I was out driving around trying to get some testing in on my 2013 Twin turbo mustang boss 302 I had a random sleeper turbo grand national try and race me so we took a trip down to Mexico to see what the cars can do and ended up pulling off and having a great little chat about the cars! This is what the car community should be all about! shoutout to the awesome owner and his sleeper ride!

Can’t believe you don’t know about these Buick Grand Nationals, GNX and T-Types . They are legendary in the drag Racing World. He ran you with 3 people and it would have been nice to see you run him with just the driver. I’m a mustang guy but would always know and respect and Buick that looks like that. Nice Video.
One of the most legendary muscle cars of all time. The grand national. All Buick Regal models were sick like the unassuming Regal T Type but the murdered out factory look of the grand national and the gnx is just ridiculous.
Bruh, those GN’s are epic. Surprised you didn’t recognize what it was. One could be 500hp and another 1000hp and you really wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. They launch out the hole like crazy.
As soon as I saw Grand National come up on my feed, I knew it would be cool. That car looked pretty damn clean. I love the fact that enthusiasts of all different cars can find each other like this. Great video man!

Actually that car is a Turbo T. They were pretty much the same cars, but came in different colors and some had the chrome pkg. And like others have said, they can be made to run stupid fast without a huge outlay of $$$$$$...........
Back in the day I had an ‘87 Grand National and worked for Garrett Turbo.
Needless to say life was good. Upgrades galore.
Man I remember when the grand nationals first came out. Guy had one in my lil hometown in East TN with a bigger turbo on it and his license plate said LST2A6. He use to hurt many V-8 owners feelings back then. These cars cameout in the mid 80’s and there was nothing like it hardly.

They were legendary. STILL are. That's why they're so expensive. And they still are devastating in a straight line, and can be made to corner pretty well with mods........

I am consistantly running into all challenger variations and cant get any to roll. The car community is so vast, yet so small.

3:03 700+hp Twin Turbo v8 (Driver Only) vs 590hp Single Turbo v6 (Driver + 2 Passengers)🤷🏽♂️and it was closer than I thought...Definitely need to find that guy or message him to match up with that 770hp Buick but without any passengers cuz that’ll make it a good race😌👍🏼
Honestly didn’t know what he had done he could have had a twin turbo setup who know it’s not like I went and set this race up but if he wants to rerun with his fast car always down. It’s fun either way and makes for good content.
“590hp” right right, not taking anything away from that car but people will easily cap the real numbers, heavier car with more passengers keeping up with less power just doesn’t click 🧢

Turbo cars are way different than SC cars. I had no idea how different. I was always used to SC mustangs not turbo. Power comes on like a freight train above 3K rpms.

Hey is a 2020 challenger Hellcat widebody worth the upgrade, my dad messed up his scat pack and he is thinking about buying one, he can afford it, its just that someone has told him that hellcats are not reliable because he said that when your 80% on that gas pedal its like the car is trying to kill, i dont agree with it personally but my dad is starting to have second thoughts and i just want to know cause the hellcat is my dream car and if someone is convincing him its me😂😂 would love to know your thoughts👍 and also love the vids❤️
