Thankfully I speak italian and spanish is my fifth language so I understood what he said but as you said whats the point of not having subtitles? Awful.
Spanish was my seventh language so I know what they’re saying but still it’s questionable why they don’t at least have an English voiceover. I mean they could have made a French voiceover (that was an ninth language) but you know just more people speak English (in case you didn’t know).
Yes, the 0.8° increase in global temperatures since 1900 has affected me horribly. I don't know what I'm going to do if temperatures rise another 0.5°.
I bet that house is insanely expensive. Imo they should of created an underground or partial underground desert house using the natural ground temperature regulating techniques known for millenniums that the average person could own. But I guess that wouldn't make enough of a flamboyant "global warming" statement.
It’s definitely meant to be a vacation property. The rich man’s tiny isolated retreat cabin lol. I’m sure it could generate some good revenue if the owner ever decides to open it up to overnight guests.
I have been to Gorafe a few times, an absolutely stunning area just 2 hours ride from home. Would be a real experience to spend some time in the house.
In order to live in a region..you need water...if you have the water you can do just about what you like in moderation...just putting a glass house in the middle of no where thinking it will perform miracles out of nothing is silly and just a architectural gimmick...its a waste of time.
Achmad (52, Arab) rides through the desert on his camel, smashing the windows with a Rock. Why he did that, they will ask. Because he can, he will answer.
It really doesn't say much at all. Barely anything about the technologies used, or how to get a house built like this yourself, the name of the glass used, details about HOW or IF the temperature was kept low, and what about during the night, the desert can get cold also. It managed to have a whole video which communicates almost zero information. It is very shoddy reporting. I know I could do better and I'm not even a reporter.
There is many glass houses around the world. I think they know how to build it earthquake proof too or they know there never has been earthquake at that place and they calculate there won't be any either.
And now bet this is little more than concrete foundations. Too much glass and insufficient t shade . I have experimented with different IR coatings and that are not so effective in the tropics. Good luck with this,
Hope we don't need to wait around for Armageddon to use the glass...Can it withstand normal seasonal weather extremes in someplace like the Midwest or NY?
I'm glad spanish is my first language so I can understand the whole video. Also, barely any shots from inside the house? Awfully produced video.

Spanish is my 50th language
Spanish is my 174th language.

I was thinking about the same but couldn't remember, glad you mentioned it. Thanks
I noticed the same thing
Pretty cool. Love the desert
Now. this is a house you surely can't throw stones !!
I'd love to stay for a few days.
Challenges solved with knowledge and Imagination! Brilliant!
Glass is not a good material for hot climates at all. Yet architects are insanely making glass buildings in such environments.
you cannot escape the results of what you are complicit with in the cities.
He who lives in a glass house, should not throw stones.....
the staircase with handrails kills it.
I bet that house is insanely expensive. Imo they should of created an underground or partial underground desert house using the natural ground temperature regulating techniques known for millenniums that the average person could own.

I'm glad I'm bilingual and need no subtitles for this lol
Also, what a great idea.
Yes, but Spanish is not very popular here in South Africa - even if you are bi- or Multilingual.
There are many bilingual people but not everyone knows Spanish. They need English subtitles becuase its the UNIVERSAL language
Agree, it was an error to not put subtitles on this.
I have been to Gorafe a few times, an absolutely stunning area just 2 hours ride from home. Would be a real experience to spend some time in the house.
where is Gorafe?
I don’t think it worth. Rather than thinking about worst and extreme conditions. Please try to save earth.
well said.
Can you make detail video of interior
An amazing project there. I’d like to live in a house like this one. Do you guys need any volunteers?
Yes. 20.000 rent montly. Do you have the money, Juan?
Oh my gosh just me here and the sunset

Anyone seen that episode of black mirror, this is the guys retreat
Maybe it’s just me, but, I was expecting more detail on the design, the materials, and the construction.
Very interesting looking house and location.
Can i get one with tinted glass
Is this the one off black mirror?
And a small stone will be an perfect company 🤣😂
😡😀
Curious how much each one of those pieces of glass are.
people who live in a glass house change their clothes in the basement.
Anyone who makes a joke about throwing stones is a Tottenham supporter.
I'm thinking moving to the Sahara desert. 🐒Buy me a Glass House 🏠
After 3 years, please give an update for us pessimists.
Glass house in the desert??
I can't believe they would let the Spaniard say that stuff on video and not filter it a little better. Human beings are so doomed.
Whats next a metal house in alaska?!😒
Great, but is there wifi?
Wow.. Lovely 😍😍😍
It’s worried that video doesn’t have subtitles for the language other than English. I’m here because I thought it’s in English.
Does it have swimming pool though?
I wonder if it's possible to make the dessert green again and fertile
They did not show the house!!!
What about water supply?I wish there were some more explanation.
billions star hotel i love it .
Achmad (52, Arab) rides through the desert on his camel, smashing the windows with a Rock. Why he did that, they will ask. Because he can, he will answer.
Glass retains heat right
Then if you build glass House in desert
GLASS IS EXPENSIVE!
This whole project is out of touch!!!

Weave solar panels into the glass. .. to run an air conditioner!
sooooo anyone notice theres no groceries or hospitals around?
Poor birds.
What if there's an earthquake? Or a major flood?
There is many glass houses around the world. I think they know how to build it earthquake proof too or they know there never has been earthquake at that place and they calculate there won't be any either.
What happens when you need to go poop?
you outside and hope there are no rattle snakes or nomadic tribes who will think you are an alien.
And now bet this is little more than concrete foundations. Too much glass and insufficient t shade . I have experimented with different IR coatings and that are not so effective in the tropics. Good luck with this,
Calor!
Hope we don't need to wait around for Armageddon to use the glass...Can it withstand normal seasonal weather extremes in someplace like the Midwest or NY?
Time to put my 6th grade Spanish to use; QUE?
It's so we'll designed, that it's top secret!
that's why even though it's a video about a house.. one can barely see anything about it. smh
Watch out fire ,thats what happened in California.
Don't throw stones
Just build blood normal houses first than you can start thinking about 'extreme houses'
Why do you think they've never built a regular house before? The girl is an architect as you could see under her name
SANDSTORM
Mmm all that delicious dirt to eat!!🤗
Hahahaha stupid idea one sand storm and it's over.
Europeans complain about languages 😒 what irony when every half mile it's a country
Just bolloks
Waste project ever made.
