Property Description:
"Welcome to the Invisible House. Re-launched in November 2022 as a joint venture with Fieldtrip Hospitality."Imagine a piece of modern art…one of the most spectacular homes in the world on all of Airbnb” - Brian Chesky, CEO of Airbnb. We invite guests to experience the most unique desert home on the planet, and one of the best-known homes in the world: the Invisible House.
This one-of-a-kind masterpiece was designed by veteran film producer Chris Hanley. Featured in countless music videos, television shows and dozens of publications worldwide (including Netflix, Robb Report, Architectural Digest, Washington Post, People, Daily Mail, Dezeen, and Maxim), this sleek 5,500 sq. ft. minimalist retreat is set on 90 breathtaking acres comprising the largest privately-owned parcel of land abutting Joshua Tree National Park.An exploration in contrasts, the mirrored 22-story horizontal skyscraper features an entirely reflective facade that absorbs its surroundings and vanishes into the desert landscape. The juxtaposition of sleek minimalism and ancient desert terrain makes Invisible House a singularly definitive structure in blending modern architecture with the natural world.
You and your guests will have complete access to the 3 bedrooms in the main house and the 1 bedroom in the detached casita. All are outfitted with top-of-the-line linens, bedding, and spa-like ensuite bathrooms. Congregate in the open floor plan and feel connected to nature, no matter where you are in the home. Bring the outside in by opening the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and fully embrace the Joshua Tree experience."

Yeah, agree
House should be sectioned off in some tasteful way. Also needs LIFE to it, so sterile and dull. Add color, add warmth, etc.
@@chadipapadopoulo7394 thanks bro , amen 🙏
This house really replicates what it would be like to live in an abandoned airport terminal in the Nevada desert.
Hahahahahah
Why would there be a swimming pool in an airport terminal?
@@daniellillis3997 to be able to drown in despair.
I don't think that is how the architect has pitched his design 😂
@@daniellillis3997 cause it's a very fancy abandoned airport terminal.
can't imagine living more than a week in that house without getting depression
@@Rimrock300
It's a uninviting place.
Cold and uncomfortable.
I'd take a Brooklyn flat anyday...with at least 80's decor!
@@Rimrock300 retro mixed with modern is the best way.
For me that would be the opposite I would heal my depression in that house.
I don’t think I can stay in this house overnight. It’s chill feeling’d surely drive me nuts and deeply depressed. Literally it’s not a harmonious home but a spaceship. 🤦♂️
Dude, same. The idea of living in the middle of a GD desert with rattlesnakes is terrifying to the point where a short hike would require you to drag ten gallons of water with you. 😅
I just prefer forest, beach or meadow scenery than a hot sweaty desert.
Can’t imagine how often you have to keep that glass clean and the work required
Or the rest of the house.
They charge €500 per stay for the cleaning fee. Not joking.
The heating and A/C bills must be astronomical.
I'd hire window cleaners and a pressure washing company clean all the dust and debris off the glass . Could get expensive 😢
A glass house right next to a mountain of boulders is exactly what I'm looking to build too
❤😂😂😂
🥴🥴🥴
😂😂😂
😂😂😂 good one!!!
Was thinking the same thing lol
imagine just chilling at night and not realizing that the glass is no longer one-way and some creep could just be watching you from outside
@@Side-chat-Lives-Matter hell no
yup..the glass isn't unbreakable?
Absolutely should have retractable floor to ceiling blackout blinds/shades/curtains or something throughout the house that can be drawn or raised with a touch of a button in the house or voice activated through alexa or something, for the reason you mentioned, but also because of the blinding and hot desert sun rays that are going to flood that house in the morning and all throughout the day. I know it has heavy tinted glass, but it's not enough. If I stayed there the shades would be drawn down the entire time.
@@UR_Right24 He said there is an automatic shield. Maybe he was not given the remote control.
@@MariaGloriaAdan just one in the restroom lol
This house looked strangely familiar but then I realized Yeat did a music video using the house😭😭
The pool should have a gate to keep people from falling into it by mistake.
Other people already mentioned the sliding doors and snakes etc, plus the nightview from outside in, just when it is much more important to be invisible from the outside than during daytime. The birds that may not see the house until it is too late, the security against unwanted visitors in such a lonely spot.
Some others: no place for storage, no study or work area.
But there is more: those wide bands of marble around the beds: you can not just go sit on the bed and turn in, you have to crawl in across the marble. A seat at the foot of the bed, yes. At the side of the bed, NO.
Also, the dining area is almost at the other end of the house. I would expect the dining table closer to the kitchen than the seating area.
All together, I can perfectly understand it is a b&b, you stay one night for the experience, and then leave to never come back.
I looked it up. 2 night mimimum, $7k
I agree. It’s not as amazing as they’re making it.
@@ralfiejr34damn, I will stick to looking at the images on Google.
@@azizabahati7037 He's really trying to sell it "amazing hill rock for a view" "straight out of a movie set" "most amazing chess board ever"
When you do homes like this, please discuss the utilities. If house is on-grid, show us the power connection and talk about how far they had to build supplies lines for water, sewer, power, cable, etc.
Does this house have back up power supply or only runs on solar? Thanks!
they filmed it in a way to make it look isolated. this place is not that far from civilization and you actually have neighbors kinda nearby. getting utilities, water, and other essentials wouldnt be a problem.
i agree, a discussion on the utilities would have only added a few minutes. I assume there's a septic system and well...
I've toyed around with designing houses, and this is the first question that needs to be answered. What utilities are available at the site, if any? Off-grid may sound somehow romantic to some, but really it's quite a headache dealing with the infrastructure needed to live comfortably away from utilities.
It's not a home, but an art installation, that one can spend the night inside. Built for fun, for people to stay a few days at the time
Thank you for another great video! The tour, b roll, and even the animations are beautiful. I can't believe their (lack of) cable management in the house, though! I wouldn't expect a house of this caliber to have a messy TV cart 🤨
A glass house that is basically one huge room with walls of glass that let in the sun all day, in the middle of the desert with nothing around for miles. With a bed that looks like it's for people five feet tall or shorter. Sounds great
These modern architecture houses are just what the rich Patrick Batemans of this world love... It`s a novelty for a few days, but all the obvious flaws would amount and frustrate pretty quickly.

super awesome place to stay! i missed play ark survival so much, i used to play and build structure like this invisible house. so cool to see someone actualy build it in real world. awesome, really
I love watching these videos on my flat screen, the editing is top quality ✨
I wouldn’t want to live in it, but damn what an interesting visit. Thanks for covering such a broad spectrum of homes on this channel!
glad you find this video interesting!
Yeah, the night time shots showed what I consider the biggest drawback. Those mirrored panels don't protect you from prying eyes at night.
@@nanoflower1 The property has remote controlled blackout shades for privacy.
@@delmonsawyer2163 They never mentioned those that I noticed. That makes a big difference as it was something I felt was lacking from the home.
At least it's laser-proof!
I stayed here it’s unbelievable. I heard the project took 6 years to complete. When I slept the rafters click reminding me where I was like a spacecraft. The evening swim was the most memorable for me a bucket list life experience ❤
Ohhhhh that must have been amazing I'm jealous.
How much was it to rent?
oh cool! thanks for sharing that with us!
My first question seeing this video was, does the whole place smell like chlorine? I can't imagine having a swimming pool in your main living space.
@@DarkHorse2083 It's not healthy to use chlorine for anything. Diatomaceous Earth powder works better and has no negative smell.
This is hella dope😎🍾
Amazing property!
Whoever built this has a hidden talent, they should keep it hidden.
😅😅😅
Totally agree
I love the new style: More environment, more cinematic, better music. And the house is outstanding. Congrats Enes to a new level of videos! Outstanding !
good to know and learn, appreciate the feedback!
@@EnesYilmazer bring back the floorplan from last week! Really liked that part and helps everything make more sense. Appreciate it probably wasn't needed for this one though:)
This house is awful lol
It looks terrible lmfao
Are you blind?
The shots at night are incredible, also the engineering to get half the house cantilevered is awesome!
Wow just wow so elegenat so beautiful just looking like a wow liked every bit thing of it except the verry long pool, I think you could do so much more with that much space.
You can place the pool between pillars if there is any possibility for It with a closed area between it.
The huge boulders on the hills so close to the house kind of stresses me out tbh. I feel like it's just a matter of time before one of them rolls down into the house crushing things or even some unlucky person who stood in the boulders way. Maybe it's just me overthinking things but it was the first thought that came into my head when i saw where the house was built.
I thought the exact same thing
That was my first thought, surprised it took so long to find this comment!
If the cantilever is stressed as Enes mentioned, I'm thinking if a boulder rolls down, hits the house, shifts it affecting the cantilever, it would destroy the whole thing 🤔 lol
You know, possibly hundreds of UA-cam channels share these kinds of videos, but honestly, your channel is something else. The way you and Mike present the space is incredible. You make every second of the video worth watching. This video was like an experience. Keep up the brilliant work. 👍
Glad you enjoy it!
I disagree he did a terrible job of selling this disaster of a home
this has gotta be his alt my lord
Concordo, sou do Brasil e estou sempre assistindo aos vídeos. Realmente vale a pena assistir cada segundo e não é cansativo é sensacional!!
Terrible video an tour 😢 nice setup tho
Good invisible house example. I'm sure it will get more popular peacefully hopefully❤
Thanks for sharing such group preparements.
Cinematography was so good man I thought it was a cg video for a minute. Fantastic !
This house is shaped like a giant reflective mobile home.
Love the look of the place. My only concern is one bad earthquake and those rocks near the house will come through those glass.
this is a unique house! love the title of the house "Invisible house" or I would call it the "Camoflouge House because it blends in with the environment and you can't really tell it is a house from afar!
A truly stunning and amazing property. The Invisible House has instantly made it onto my Bucket list of "MUST STAY" places
Quite possibly one of the weirdest and most unique properties I have seen. I hope them boulders have no risk of falling though.🤣
I was thinking the same thing.
lmao i wouldnt be able to sleep knowing that could happen at any moment
It's just unbearable thinking about a boulder dropping down 0.75 inches, all the way down at this building. Couldn't raise a family there.
@@Rimrock300 I was thinking more of the ones 50ft up. Don't quit your day job, comedy is not the best but you tried.
@@leastcoast5606 how do you know his day job isn't with comedy?
Love the added architectural and engineering component to the video. It's interesting to see how architects and engineers are able to pull off homes like this. My only question is how do they get water to the property? Is there a large water tank and a septic tank? Great video as always!
And prayers for Turkey 🙏
Great for weekend gateaways, parties and such but too sterile. Interesting concept and architecture.
Crazy, that's an amazing place, that's nice a home, thank you so much your videı
while leaving the windows opened, my first reaction is are you not concerned that either a snake or tarantula or any other cripy crawlies might make their way in the house ? Nature is often stunning in 4k but in situ it often comes with all sort of undesirable pest. Glass in the middle of a dusty environment, is the glass treated to autoclean with UV light ? Anyway another great video. great dynamic between Enes and Miky. Keep up the great work. I love watching your videos
For the insects and snakes i dont think they can clim smooth surfaces
@raven anbu Great point ! Most insects cannot
Imagine the snakes and spiders in that place. Every outside door you left open made me quench!
Joshua Tree NP is a wonderfully different place. A must visit. One of my favorites.
Es trabajo de arquitectura ecológica no rompe nada con la naturaleza y muy minimalista hermoso proyecto
Aesthetically, I can appreciate this. Realistically, I would not want to stay here more than a week. It looks some some type of social isolation experiment.
Great tour of a Glass house, next to a mountain of boulders, in a state known for earthquakes! Some things are truly so genius that they appear stupid.
Whoaaa... Too much energy needed.
A luxury shipping container with The Hills Have Eyes outside. I like it.
This space looks like Mark Zuckerber's natural habitat, so cold and completely the opposite of cozy, just like a hangar with furniture.
This house seems to be built on Mars, avant-garde and modern!
It's not the most luxurious house, but it's definitely the coolest!
The only thing that makes me feel pity is its width, if the width could be doubled, the house would be even more incredible!
Enes didn't wear a suit in this episode, but he still looks great. Great job, thanks a lot for sharing! 👍🤩🙌
I feel sorry for the guy who has to clean all that glass
@@majorrgeek If you want to say which country is not cleaning the house, there should be only China in this world (joke, no offense)!
I don't know why you wrote "they guy, you need to add a s", such a professional luxury house will of course cooperate with a professional cleaning company,
they will not clean the glass by themselves!
I agree. I think this home was definitely designed to be most stunning from the outside, to which they did a great job
@@masonmiller9658 Thank you very much! Yes, it should be a pleasant surprise if you pass by there and suddenly find it! 👍😄👌
@@masonmiller9658 - please explain how an invisible house is stunning from the outside??? - it's just a huge box covered in mirrored glass
Imaginative architecture!
Love the editing, the whole team did great.
Appreciate it!
This house is gorgeous but I only have one comment : the cable/wire management of the Television and the microwave/coffee machine etc is really what triggers me, everything is so perfect then you just get cable laying around.
The cable wire ? Ok
Agreed
This is truly a next level production... superb cinematography, editing, content... a joy to behold.
yeah, looks like production has been taken to a next level. enes mention they were working at something some time ago when they took a week off from ading new videos. But also great editing earlier
Thanks Aleksandar 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Those concrete pylons probably go down to bedrock. I have a beach house, the foundation company drilled down 23’ through the sand down to bedrock and filled the holes with forms and concrete. It’s code to do that but during a recent tropical storm waves were hitting them for 48 hours. Didn’t get high enough to damage the house but moving water is destructive. No damage to the pylons.
Great job and wonderfull house..best ever
It needs ceiling and wall acoustic treatment. There’s so much reverberations in that space
Helps stop there being more than one conversation. So zen.
My fear of being able to see outside at night would scare me so much in this house haha
black dude is so annoying
It seems peaceful to me
@@SpongebobsRippedPantme too bro 😊

Modern unique and very nice idealistic house.its so cool..from Philippine .
Thats a nice vacation home . I can aee who buys it building on more features. Look at the pool. Away from all for a minute you can relax
Really interesting home
Did you notice a sound or smell from the pool?
And what’s the blue structure we saw outside the primary bedroom?
Wow what a wild concept! Love the vision from the designer. Drone shots at night make it look like an alien spaceship lol that would be so cool to stay there! Great work fellas on a totally unique tour.

not much architectural enjoyment in a huge rectangular cuboid covered in mirrored glass
Wow this is good, I love your videos Mr Enes you just always know the right house to show
This house is my number one favorite!!!
This is the first video I've seen with the new presentation style and I'm completely in love with it. I really enjoy documentaries and this video is so eye-catching and wonderful to listen to! I can easily see this being a very popular television show.
On a different note, I was very sad to hear about the new earthquake and all the destruction it caused. Sending prayers for everyone involved, that they will be able to find hope in such a dark time.
UA-cam is the new television, and this is already very popular channel, so he already has accomplished that😊
@@JellyMelodies That's very true!
I sometimes forget how rare traditional TV is these days, thanks for the reminder! 😂
All I can think about are those boulders! 😳 The paranoia in me sees them coming right through the glass and taking me or my guests out! 🤣
the cinematics are amazing
Love that insane all glass bed
Nature is unique! And how organically and coolly they entered this project.
Just wow
Car and house are proportional.
The corners are life👍👍👍
Absolutely wonderful, thoughtout home 🏠. The interior is classy and exterior architecture is seamless.
This house is arguably more visible then a regular house painted tan. It’s reflective not see through. So if you are looking at it from a distance it’s noticeable because it causes an anomaly to the surrounding landscape. Plus when the sun hits it it’s going to light up like a Christmas tree. Where as a tan house just blends into the land and doesn’t cause any anomalies to draw attention to it
To be fair, it’s invisible at night. Just the house though; not what’s inside of it.
This house is extremely beautiful 🏠❤️💕.
Enes you rock dude, just watched this video and MJ’s property in Chicago.
This home screams freedom, breaking down your normal inhibitions of privacy ! For some the sea,Forrest ,mountains or desert is for them . Sitting in that pool with a few drinks wow!
My only concern is that it is necessary to have curtains or shades because at night, with the lights on, you are completely exposed.
Great video as always
Cant wait to see their next container building. should be just as horrific. Missed you Enes!
Wow amazing 😮😮
one thing that is striking my mind is how are they able to fulfill the need of water in a deserted area btw a really unique and wonderful house , great work.
I love the architecture chapter! please do more of them! :D
Amazing Property. How was it inspired? What type of glass? Absolutely fabulous...
This house is literally amazing, it is nice to live here especially when you are introvert and you need space in this challenging world
How many birds fly into this a day?
Not that many, mostly rocks I imagine. :)))
I agree with some of the other comments that this house works best as a short-term rental. If one were to live full-time in it, the furnishings would need a rethink and an invisible garage would be a must. I'm not sure the Joshua Tree area would have enough depth to hold interest for full-time residence. Cheers on another high-class tour, guys! I'm jealous of your lifestyle, which is a career in making me jealous of other people's lifestyles.
it’s beautiful and the surroundings are beautiful! fascinating design! it reminds me of what it would be like to live on planet mars in the sense of being confined indoors, which wouldn’t be for me, personally. granted, inhabitants can leave this house. i would be too paranoid to feel comfortable being there at night, tho i’m
not sure why. no one’s going to be lurking outside there at night.
Beautiful
Interested in the mechanics of the house such as water systems, electricity and connectivity seein that it's off grid. I love when you guys show that. I always wonder especially when it comes to those mega mentions that are off grid
They probably have a solar panel system where they just need the sun to power everything.
@@cheyanneeverheart Yeah that explains power if they have a battery, but what about water? Do they have to truck it in? Is there a well nearby?
Nice update on the graphics for the videos! I noticed them first in the last video you guys uploaded. Note on the building...it's design is so top-of-the-art that only by looking at the building you don't get an idea of how massive it is! Seeing Enes next to a caisson just gives a little bit of perspetive. Great work!
This is a concept, not a house. Weird, cool, lone, cold, insecure, creepy, sunny, dusty, dry, windy, bright, dazzling, isolated, quiet, baffling, pretty. Too many stimuli crashing into each other. A stay there is a real challenge to check mental health.
Perfect House !!!
This is undoubtedly the most unusual house I've seen on this channel so far!
So awesome to see you doing so great with over 3 million subscribers. Love your vids.
thanks for the support!
That is very amazing house I never seen before
Just imagine those Rick came rocking the house down🤯🤯🤯
And also you can not leave here with a child the pool though
As a person with paranoia I'd love to have such a house at daytime, but would hate to have it at night. Pretty sure thought that adding electrochromic layer of glass on the inside would fix the problem. As for the rest of the house, it's incredible!!
Bill did you hear that ? C'mon Suzanne is nothing. Let me go outside and check.....
Motorized roll shades would be sufficient, though. I'm with you, doesn't matter how few people come out that far, it only takes one creep and you can't see him because the inside is mirrored at night.
@@n0rbakn0rbak38 it's all jokes until you are right.
@@1st1anarkissed I agree, electrochromic glass would be too much and too expensive as well.
@@1st1anarkissed The creep could be 100 yards away with a telescope. At night, it's a good house for an exhibitionist.
Very unusual! Thanks for the tour, and those night shots were spectacular! Wouldn't want to be showering with the lights on at night if there are people walking around outside! lol
I would love to see this house built right on the waterfront in Italy
