Hi emc, I was one of the kids (in the blue and white frozone looking uniforms) from the wgi comp I saw you at the other week. I just wanted to say thank you for being such a nice guy and I love your videos 👍👍
Mapex doesn’t send via UPS. It’s usually Old Dominion. I know from having put together numerous Mapex and Ludwig kits for a friend’s musical instrument store.
6:15 Last year, while working with The Sacramento Mandarins, we stopped at KHS America, in Mt. Juliet, TN, where they build these Mapex drums. The Mandarins gave a performance for the employees, then we were given a tour of the facility. It was really a great stop along the way.
That day was one of the highlights of my year. It was great to host The Mandarins and show everyone here just what happens when you put great instruments in the hands of world class musicians!
@@paradiddle5664 I really love your outdoor amphitheater. The sound bouncing off that rock retaining wall was amazing. This year, the Mandarins will not be in the area. I was really lucky to be there last year!
I've been watching your videos for a few years now, and you've inspired me to get a set of mapex tenors of my own. I've got my own job now and paying for it all by myself! I really appreciate all of your videos and you know how to make people laugh. Thank you Eric!
The snare at 8:26 sound real nice for a show style group Edit: The snares in that section have a very nice crisp and sensitive sound that defines the musicallity of the snare as a whole.
1 of 4 of my drumsets, I have an old Mapex. I know nothing about it like year, series. I wouldn't mind picking Mapex back up. That set I've mentioned was bought from a pawnshop in the 90s. And that wasn't the best time for Mapex. After seeing people praise their new technology resulting in better tones, I'm ready!
No "big package" joke! You feeling ok? ;) Seems to me you already had a quite a drum throne to begin with--a throne made literally of drums! And their boxes. You're moving?! Woooow. Looking forward to that vlog! Loved seeing the whole drumline in action again.
Hey Emc, love your vids I like how you make playing drums so like entertaining like almost some parts a comedy it’s very relaxing and nice to watch after a long 8 hour rehersal
Bro. I'm waiting for you to do a collab with drummers like Dave Weckl, Benny Greb, or Dennis Chambers. I'm not a drummer but i love your channel. Keep up the good stuff!
Hi Eric, I always wanted a custom MAPEX marching snare but I don’t know how to go about it and what to do do you think you can help me with that that will greatly be appreciated thank you very much
I thought you were going to be a caption head for a corps and they were sending you drums for the visual team to approve. Oh well a commercial at WGI is almost as good. Hope you're not having to move too far.
Why is it all 14x10 inch snares? Is that like the new standard these days? I mean I still see most snare lines in both marching band and drum corps using 14x12 inch snares.
Will you be at WGI Percussion World Championships?
maybe we can hang out 🤓
I hope
Yes I will @emcproductions
I'm I'm 202 indoor percussion. Check us out :)
I hope so im performing there😂
Man… I wish I could go

What group are you with, my group has frozone looking outfits too
@@LILJETTY new oxford
I was there too
NO YOU WERENT
That UPS truck delivery must have been a sight!
Dude getting freight is no joke. If you don't have a pallet jack they are likely not to deliver.

Driver must have been pissed
@@georgeprice4212 oooh gotcha
Really?
Boy I would absolutely love to have that red marching snare 😩
Same, my school colors have red in it as well

A great advertisement- "so cushy on my tushy"
That ad was actually sick. Tired of corporate bs ads, this is what the people want to SEE!!
"Do you really need another drum?"
"No, but I need another drum key so might as well..."
That alternating roll at 10:40 is mesmerizing. The precision!
I've been watching your videos for a few years now, and you've inspired me to get a set of mapex tenors of my own. I've got my own job now and paying for it all by myself! I really appreciate all of your videos and you know how to make people laugh. Thank you Eric!
Thought this would be a give away. I would kill to have a marching snare at home
I know right!
The snare at 8:26 sound real nice for a show style group
Edit: The snares in that section have a very nice crisp and sensitive sound that defines the musicallity of the snare as a whole.
you should make a set of tenors out of all the snares you got

Our school just got Mapexs and we now just have 10 drum keys at our disposal

You're moving?! Woooow. Looking forward to that vlog! Loved seeing the whole drumline in action again.
4:16 Almost missed this about you moving! Good thing I re-watched this a few times!
Awesome!
Mapex needs to send you some Bass Drums! Those Pearls are fine but the set should get completed!
Hey Emc, love your vids I like how you make playing drums so like entertaining like almost some parts a comedy it’s very relaxing and nice to watch after a long 8 hour rehersal
I love it! Quite possibly the best drum commercial I’ve seen!!!
finally you can do the tenors out of 5 snares that that one dude keeps talking about
Absolutely no shot that SGT B-hole makes it through approval.😂
Good morning! This is video number 57 of me asking Eric to make a set of tenors out of differently sized or tuned snare drums.
It looks like you just got closer to your wish
Does 8:47 not count?
Imagine somebody robs emc and says “I don’t want your money.. I want a Snare Drum..”
every time i watch these videos my eyes are drawn to the chicken poster
I think the Red Ripple and Blue Ripple are my favorite wraps on the snares, just looks so good.
you could start a whole marching band with that one tenor and one bass
I’ve been collecting Mapex snare drums for 20+ years. ❤
"So cushy..
ON MY TUSHY"💀😭💀😭
Those tenors are gorgeous. And those wraps are awesome!

Imagine a great company sending you a bunch of gorgeous drums, I'm so frikin jealous dude😭👍
Bros living my dream
Oh my god I can’t wait to see that in Dayton
That was the most cool drum ad I’ve ever seen made by someone
When this man goes crazy on the tenors I just think to myself "we have liftoff!!!"
I need some of them free drums. How can I get some? Wow nice.
The wraps on the snares all look fantastic!
Bro. I'm waiting for you to do a collab with drummers like Dave Weckl, Benny Greb, or Dennis Chambers.
I'm not a drummer but i love your channel. Keep up the good stuff!
He got Mapex to sponsor him making an ad firstly for himself, then Mapex.. nice
video 33 of asking EMC to make a video of him playing the Rock Band game series
First comment! I like this idea, but I'm worried about getting a copyright strike.
Stream it all!
@@EMCproductions That is true, worst case simply play Jig 2 in every Rock Band
What sticks do you use for tenors and snare I thought I saw in a older vid that it looked like a EMC signiture stick it something along those lines
I'm using a five gallon bucket as my drum throne.
Sent this man a whole drum line
Being sent free drums has to be the coolest thing ever 🥲
Arent the basses pearls
I guess Mapex needs to send him bass drums for next year's ad! 😅

Eric you should come to the CWEA championships in RoeBuck South Carolina at Dorman High School!
Would love a marching snare if you're giving away!
My group used that 60th anniversary field drum this season and it is beautiful when tuned up!
The real stacked snares made me scared for them to fall 😳
You’re my favorite drummer
imagine if Mapex sends you different flub drum colors and wraps.

those snares sound nice when there isnt any snare response idk why
you can never have too keys:)
i swear one goes missing every time you move things around
I wish Mapex could send me a drumline. So i can start up a new drumline in the Netherlands! 👌🏻
