The code doesn't seem to work for me...?
@@lilianejanssenme too
Edit nevermind use the second one
Sorry, codes don't work for us in Sweden :(
Love the video :)
❤it appears to be pretty dam good stuff I'm 62 started playing drums at 7 so I can see it's awesome to see quality at those prices..ooh yaaaaa
hi
That little electronic drums is actually just GREAT for introducing kids to drums.
Bought one for my son for Christmas last year
I’m surprised at how they sounded, it didn’t suck.
@@vwharman exactly
@@shadowmaster41 🥰 what a nice gift
My son, in the womb at this time, will be a drummer and/or hockey and football player, and I would love to get a play pad like that. (Note: I will not force my kid into anything he doesn’t want to). I actually already have a Yamaha DD5 set at my parents that would probably be a better place to start.
The sheer amount of joy when he’s playing is awesome
thank you so much dude
@@66Samus I love how are metal drummer replies with a heart
@@66Samus I didn’t expect a reply. I’m not a drummer, but I am a bassist, so part of the rhythm section. Oh yuuurrrrrrrrrr! Keep on keeping on, dude. You rock!
Christmas came early!
lol
That panda snare drum actually sounded pretty solid once you tightened it up and threw 2 moon gel pads on it. I've heard live big name drummers who snare has sounded worse. Totally fine, especially at that cost!
st anger snare moment
@@TGS_RYNXI came here to say the same
@@stevec6427 I came here to say the same!!!
@@TGS_RYNX whats st anger
@@ytnamehere a Metallica album known for its questionable snare drum sound
That's the legendary St. Anger snare!
I think you just offended that Panda snare
HAAAAAAAA! (omg).
I was thinking it, then you said it.
Not even remotely close to as bad as st anger lol
@@raylandfelts2084 Yeah the tuning with a little dampening made it sound solid.
That snare is punching way above its weight for $60, very impressive!
My thoughts exactly¡
Yeah I mean you could likely get a great mix with the right person
@@jmike2039agreed its probably more the drummer than the kit in this case!?
I mean sure, but I'll get nothing from that marketplace. I really like keeping my data to myself and online shops that are less shady or not owned by a company that has commited data theft with another marketplace before.

Watching you blastbeat with a pair of blocks has got to be one funniest things to watch. The pure joy on your face using the brushes on the cymbals! 😂
Your quality of playing makes everything sound good
He should get out some old pots and pans from under the kitchen cupboard. He could probably have a hit video if he did. 😂😂😂❤
I'm a new drummer and a review like this really helps me out. Thanks dude.
That snare drum even with the stock head had no right to sound as good as it did. Great job by that company.
I like that these reviews are appropriate for the products. Expensive equipment doesn't make a musician. Affordable entry level equipment can certainly plant seeds and provide fertile ground for experimentation.
All of a sudden I fancy one of those electronic roll drums pad . Seems kinda cool and you don't need to have a bunch of space to play it.
just asbout to say the same thing
Honestly, the Panda snare drum sounds decent for the surprising price. The woodblocks sound spectacular!
Samus, no one ever mentions the wonderful editing that you do in your videos! I know this can take quite a while to do and it is much appreciated by me… and of course the bits of comedy that you throw in! 😂
I hope little Yoda is doing better. 🤞🏼💙
You would have loved this when you were a little kid!
The fact we can see genuine happiness in your face when playing with the percussion blocks.... 10/10. We will never grow up.
if I was still gigging I would have loved that snare for bar shows. I dont wanna bring gear I really care about to those kinda shows so if it got stolen, damaged, fluids spilled on it or anything else i would have been fine. It honestly sounded great with evans heads on it.
That first product looks like a great option for parents with a kid begging to learn the drums. Little demos to help them learn by example, low price, low commitment, easily stored and taking up as much room as a placemat, headphones. Sounds like a winner to me.
The snare sounds like that one Lars used in St. Anger.
I was looking for that comment haha
I love when you took the wire brushes & scratched them back & forth like crazy while playing that fast beat. I was dying.
I love this because this just shows that playing is the real skill not necessarily the gear when it comes to learning so this was very enlightening. Thanks Samus!
thank you so much!
Besides watching your drumming skills and technique, I always get the biggest kick out of watching how much fun you have doing these videos!! I am not even a drummer, but seeing how much fun you have makes me think I should get some cheap beginner drums just to give it a try!!
thank you so much!!!
I have a few sets of nylon sticks and I LOVE THEM! They last 100 times longer than wooden sticks. And when you are on a budget, it really saves you from buying sticks all the time. They are actually quieter than wooden sticks.
Try them and you find they have great rebound.
Absolutely love the Temu gear review , especially when you played the little electric drum kit you got mad skills .
Your JOY and enthusiasm is so contagious. Well done dude.
thank you!!
The red and blue sound like mr crabs walking
St. Anger snare, brought to you by Panda
Very humble and smart gentleman, pleasure to watch.
That snare sounded great with the stock heads.
The lower tuning didn’t sound so great, but neither does most high-end snare drums, without moderate to heavy dampening (e.g. a towel/BFSD/neoprene mute etc)
that snare is straight up early slipknot, crisp and ringy, love it
The blocks sound really good. The snare isn't bad at all especially for the price.
You made all 22 of them sound amazing! Thanks.
Damn, I might have to make some Temu purchases now. These look worth it for the fun aspect 😅
There's a reason they make you download the app. It gets access to all the info on your phone. EVERYTHING. If you value your privacy then don't download the app.
I’m definitely impressed with the blocks! Your chops were on point as usual! Good stuff yo! 🤘🤘
The blocks were the star of the video .. They had an amazing sound!
Oh man watching you shred that roll up drum kit was priceless.
the ad shown was EMC Productions hawking the pocket drums
The brushes on the panda snare actually sounded pretty dope
🪥🪥🐼👜 Brushes, panda, dope…the dope is in the pocketbook lol! 😮
Temu = the new Wish
In a Temu review video, the reviewer called them, "Wish with worse customer service."
Thank you! I have very little knowledge about drums but need new cymbals for grandkids beginners drum kit. This is helpful.
4:45 he had so much fun playin his bones 🦴
You're always good for a laugh, a good laugh!
i would love a little series or something where you try get drummers to play the roll up kit
I become the happiest person alive when i hear you blast beat man. You are the best
I love that sliding brush sound on the snare.
Keep the temu blocks on the set, they actually sounded good! And that little $40 portable pad sounds more responsive than my $300 portable Yamaha pad set. Nice review Samus! Oh yurrrr!
Looks like the snare came ready tuned to standard st anger!!
I love how much fun he was having with the $40 drum kit.
That moment of pure joy discovering there are different sounds in the drum roll - on mat 😊
Me and my twin 10 year old boys love watching youre videos! Pretty sure you were having more fun in this than they have with any of their toys lol. And I'm for sure getting that $40 drum pad!! 🤘🏻
haha thank you guys so much!!
I've been playing guitar for 16 years, and I never knew you had to tune your drumkit. I want to get a starter drumkit but that makes me a little apprehensive. By the way its channels such as yours thats inspired me to even want to try it. Keep up tge awesome work.
The first time tuning is a little bit nerve wracking. The second time, a little less so. Then everything falls into place. There are a couple great videos on YT with some tricks. The bigger ones are actually easier, because you can just put pressure in the middle of the head, creating wrinkles. Then tighten until the wrinkles are gone and voila you have a tuned drum. From there it's just fine-tuning and that will happen as you play anyway. They don't need to be perfectly tuned to sound great
Sounds like a drum channel, you can learn much about tuning
So great to watch a rude looking man becoming a happy kid when he is playing with his new electric toy drum hahahaha I enjoyed it a lot.
hahaha thank you
@@66Samus by the way, I think you should react to Dani Pérez, he is an Spanish drummer, he was a member of Saratoga, the band that Estepario was in for some years. I think you would love a video of him named Abisal. It's an old video, but not much people know it.
When you turned the tempo up on the E-drum, I could only smile goofily knowing that, I too do that as well.
Dude you should record a song with each of those drum kits or try doing live requests. That would be legend.
I didn't know Temu sold a signature Lars Ulrich snare.
That's impressive, but the most amazing thing they sell is.... their user's information online
I bought a similar drum pad on ebay to see if I liked drumming and they are actually usable even if there is no variation in sensitivity. Mine had a rechargeable battery and even does MIDI. You can have fun with it. I've not shopped on Temu as yet.
I have a home daycare. I love exposing my kids to all kinds of music and instruments. I was thinking about purchasing some of those inexpensive instruments from Temu so they can see and try them. Those plastic toys ones are awful! Your video convinced me that this might actually be a great idea. Thanks!
That roll up drum kit is outstanding for the price .😂
Epic Drum skills, epic beard skills ... big love from the UK dude 🤘
You just saved my night with awesome content again.🙏 loveyou bro❤
The snare DOES NOT sound bad!
Hahaha! Like a little kid in a music store ;)
I was crying when he went off on the blocks 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
awesome video, as always! watching you play with the electronic pad was fantastic xD
Why the fuck are you so fun to watch? Mini kit was awesome!
Lars snare approved
That Panda snare STILL sounds better than Lars on St. Anger, lol.
amazing how big of a difference some quality heads make on even a cheap snare drum. incredible.
once you take away the heads and the snare itself there really isn't too much to the rest of the drum just hardware and the material the shell is made from and dimensions are the only factors involved
the snare sound is nice. sounds like you’re smacking metal.
6:14 Metallica St Anger 😂🤣
5:51 - That is the snare drum sound I've always dreamed of finding
The harmonic stickers can be used on your cav 😂😂😂. Makes very nice Christmas presents! 🎁🎄
Finally the mystery of the St anger snare has been solved, he was playing a panda.
The snare is for broke people I'd say, and I've been broke half my life...
Glad I own a mapex cherry bomb now 😋 Other than that, the rest of the gear sounds & looks fun! Especially the blocks 😀 you can never have enough additional sounds on your kit, and they don't take much space. Actually would prefer those over a bell... Great video 😅
I’ve bought those moon gel things from Amazon before. I still have like 30 of them or something on my drum shed in my studio. I like that they’re way stickier than moon gels and I like cutting them in half sometimes if I don’t want to compromise the tone and resonance of the head too much.
I’ve been thinking about ordering a couple single pedals direct drive from AliExpress and now you have my head spinning. I’m so eager to try them out.
Just came across you randomly on UA-cam, as a producer I can honestly say one of the best drummers I’ve heard on here in a very long time, can see you genuinely enjoy it! FUCKING love it
thank you so much!!
For some cheap ass Chinese made gear they sounded pretty good. I'm still preferring an actual steel cowbell though, there is no sound quite like it.. MORE COWBELL!!!!
5:01
Mr. Krabs walking to work
Never ceases to put a smile on my face 😂 love me some samus
It's Drumndad53 🎉🎉
Like always, a cheap drum with good heads sounds better than a good drum with cheap heads.
Those red and blue bits sound like Mr. Crabs walking
Impressive how decent it was, especially with higher tunning and the gels!
Temu actually had some bangers for the price! Awesome drumming too, inspirational
FOR REAL I GOT A DRONE FOR 19$
Random question but how do you get your mix using e-drums but live cymbals???
Just connect the module + cymbal mics to the interface :) super easy!!
You gotta mic up your cymbals.
I haven't been a drummer in the last 10 years (the last few bands I've been a part of needed a bassist, so that's what I play), but you singlehandedly have brought me back to my first love of drumming. Thank you so much for what you do, Samus. The joy in your face when you're playing, as well as your sense of humor, makes me remember how fun it is to play drums. SEX
3:41 bro idk why but that made me laugh so hard😂
Ohhhhhhhh yurrrrrrrr
you just found the cheapest lars ulrich in the world
Love your energy man, you are awesome !
The little red and blue clackers sound like Mr. Krabs walking
you can make anything sound amazing
Thank you I was hoping you would change out the heads and test it!
He's like a kid on Christmas morning. Great stuff.
As others have said, that snare actually sounded pretty decent once you properly set it up
Move over Stagg, papas got a brand new bag, oh yurrrrrrr
Bro that snares sounds like Lars on the st. Anger album. Like someone kicking a slapping a dodgeball 😂😂😂
I think the stuff you bought was worth it! Great playing!
Finally someone found the long lost snare from St. Anger.
You're having way too much fun with this dude... and I approve 😀🤘
