Battery vs. Gasoline! Which String Trimmer is more powerful? Let's find out!

I compare Echo's battery weedeater (DSRM-2100) against Echo's gas-powered (PAS-225) to see which is stronger / better. I've tried to provide objective data with some fun experiments to determine which string trimmer wins. I've got no "skin in the game" as I purchased both weedeaters with my own money so this review is completely unbiased.

Very cool! One potential variable to consider....I wonder if the carburetor on the gas engine could be tuned to run at a faster rpm. To my ear, it never really sounded like the gas powered engine was maxed out as it should. Hard to tell on a video.....

That's a good point. Might be possible to coax a little more power out of the gas trimmer.
