I have the 2022 Sapphire Black e-drive 40. Great car!
by the way, those dimples in the bumpers are ultrasonic sensors, not radars. The i4 has up to 5 radars, depending on equipment, but only the front long range radar for ADAP/DAPP is visible. The other 4 radars (2 for FCTA, 2 for RCTA/BSM) are located at the corners of the front and rear bumpers, behind the plastic (not visible).
thanks for the info. I will correct myself in the future!
Get it in green, it looks stunning.
I get mine in October!
How much is the premium enhanced package

Is this available to test drive?
I used to have a 2-series that I bought from you guys 5 years ago then I traded it in for a Model 3 last year.
As much as I love the gas savings, I miss the BMW but the i4 were so hard to find a year ago.
It is not a test drive unit unfortunately
I drive approximately 200km a day (Mon-fri). Currently have a 2020 Corolla LE and I get roughly 600km on a tank but the constant need of pumping gas every 3 days is starting to drain me.
With Ontario’s rate in my area of 7.3 cents or 10.3 cents per kWh, would this be a money saver in the long run?
I get roughly 7-8 L/100km. It’s hard to understand the breakdown of pricing when it comes to charging at home and if I would save much
That is not something i can answer.
You'll need to do your own maths for this one...
if you charge at home @ 10.3¢/kwh X 81Kwh ( battery capacity) you can expect to pay around 8.50$ per charge.
now the aprox range of the car is 500km, let's play safe and pull it down a 300 (trust me, highway speeds and winter time here in Canada drains a battery about half.)
so you drive 5x200km a week / 300km capacity per charge.. you'll need to charge 4 times at home a week. so around 34$ a week just for charging. if you can charge at work, that's awesome.
Now you need to factor in insurances, car payments and the rest and see if its time to say goodbye to ye old Corolla or not. Good luck !
When will the electric version of the X4 become available?
Any updates on the new X2?
I have no idea.

quick question what do you think is better? bmw i4 drive e40 or i4 xdrive
well xDrive is better for traction
Why is everyone picking the grey trim pieces over the blue? it just looks so boring in grey, especially on a white car.
Hi, how does the 2024 differ?
2024 i4 has a xdrive40 model
they need to start installing augmentative reality in bmw
They have in. Just need to get the 360 camera option
@@DenverCoutu unfortunately they don’t. Augmented reality (in navigation) is only available in the ix. Another thing they didn’t include in the i4 is the easy access plus which lets you unlock and start the car without nfc. As it is now you have to (almost) tap the door handle with your phone to unlock it and then place it in the wireless charging pocket to start it. In the ix with the uwb antennas it has you don’t have to remove your phone from your pocket. It acts exactly like your key fob.
Why is there no shift knob on this one?
They got rid of it for units produced from March 1st onward
The switch here makes shifting rather counterintuitive: You push _forward_ in order to reverse, and vice versa. I've only gotten that mixed up once so far.
When it was a shifter stalk, your brain told you it was an automatic transmission shifter and the R-N-D order still made sense. Turning it into a three-position momentary switch upsets that muscle memory.
@@BogeyTheBear That is how a normal shifter works, so it makes a lot of sense. Pushing forward for D would be weird.
@@NeutralGenericUser It's no longer a normal shifter. It's a switch, and the loss of the shifter knob disrupts that muscle memory of operating a common transmission shifter. The very act of grabbing it is different now.
I can’t believe an alarm and tyre pressure monitoring is not standard
I understand how you feel. It is the only model we sell without that standard. They did that to get the base MSRP down to allow the car to be eligible for the federal rebate.
Why does BMW still put old USB-A Ports in their cars in 2023....
It has both USBa and USBc
You’d be surprised at how many people still need USBa.
Mine has _one_ USB-A port and three USB-Cs. That A port is essentially a "just in case" thing.
61k without heated seats and steering is a crime.
