  • We've tried numerous products in this category over the last 5-years and currently deem P&S Bead Maker to be the best product among its competitors if you're looking for a simple, spray on sealant which improves the overall glossy and hydrophobicity of your paint.
Bead Maker uses a binding polymer monomer technology to produce a water beading, brilliant, long lasting finish and can be applied to wet or dry vehicles (on all exterior surfaces including glass). Bead Maker also does includes some UV Protection as a combination of UV filter and UV stabilizers.
What makes Bead Maker different is the surface migrating molecule that attaches to the paint surface of a vehicle. Once attached this molecule cross-links and polymerizes on the surface thus building a hydrophobic durable layer of protection. Cure time is essentially two hours depending upon ambient conditions.

Attracts dust like crazy. Meguiars hybrid ceramic spray wax works amazing for me

FYI, Beadmaker has no Si02 in it. It’s a polymer based sealant.

I've used beadmaker /dreammaker before as well. Loved the feeling and the ability to use it as a drying aid. It just didn't work for the area I live in because it would cause really bad dusting on my car. Just a headups for people looking to purchase the product. Love it nonetheless

Yes this is an issue with this product. I have heard a lot about mixing bead maker and dream maker together and there are plenty of “recipes” that people use to mix the two. I am yet to try it out but need to give it a go. Every product I have tried has a downside and that’s when personal preference will win.

Good info. That said, OG Dry Aid is my choice after every wash. Has the same chemical makeup and thus its performance is outstanding.

A lot of these products are very similar. We have tried OG drying aid but we are unable to buy it in NZ. This makes it very expensive to keep using.

Hey mate appreciate your in-depth video but the biggest problem with this product it is a massive dust/pollen magnet even with the "Jamie the cleaner" hack. I will say that it does do great with the slickness and gloss but a huge dealbreaker with the dust

Where do you recommend purchasing P&S Bead Maker in NZ?

    Is this better than Amplify?

We haven’t had a chance to test the Armour Detail Supply product line, however it will be inbound to New Zealand shortly. We will purchase the full line and will be sure to let you know our findings.

Beadmaker doesn't protect so I don't use it. there are way better spray sealants or ceramic drying aides that provide sickness and gloss and protect as well. Beadmaker even though it's good is obsolete now

😂 you’re having a laugh, you can pretty much wash this off with water, and the hydrophobics are 💩

Not in our experience at all. Hydrophobic’s have been fantastic in the initial fortnight after application. It’s pretty evident for us the product is still there when we can still dry an uncoated vehicle with a leaf blower after application with good water movement.
