This is really helping me with my own 57. I am happy to see a real guy doing real work instead of some corporate sponsored guy with super tools and an endless budget. I make crap money and this is really helping me. Keep up the great work.
Loved the idea of the filer tube hack, but the transmisson tunnel should be welded in, you would would never use it . You would have to remove interrrior to use it and you would work from underneath the car anyway. You are doing a fantastic build enjoy watching.
Was planning on leaving the options open for a little while in case I decided to run a 6 speed manual transmission in the future it will be a little easier for the swap !
Love the art work with metal you design ,thanks for the hard work you do to make these videos happen I would love to drive it, being how I used to drive tri 5 s in the early 70 s . Did I say tanks with no brakes or sway bars lol.
Yeah for right now I will probably finish out the metal patches to keep them from getting exposed to the elements then match the patina as close as possible and drive it for a while and I can always finish her out later if I decide to 👍
I used some 3M Weld Thru II on one side of my truck repairs, and Upol copper based weld through primer on the other side. It was definitely easier to weld through.
@@midnightflyer9636 It was easier to weld through. The Weld Thru II is Zinc Based, and the Upol was copper based. As to how they resist rust, I have no idea. Just my experience.
I've had 2 vehicles with factory removable tunnels, and they did come in handy on occasion. It's coming together really well. Can't wait to see the goose back on. Regards, Solomon
Just kinda leaving the options open incase I decide to install a 6 speed manual transmission in the future, with it removable it would make the swap a little easier! Thanks
Been following, personally I'd made that filler neck a pass through/far oversized as could be, cut flush with the frame so the hose, rubber or metal is completely serviceable/removable, just me though, still gonna watch
Was planning on leaving the options open for now in case I want to install a 6 speed manual in the future it will be a little easier getting every thing set up 👍
It is fun watching your work . When you put the angle iron inside of the Blue Goose to help support the structure , that was really cool . I have never seen that before . The way you plan your work ahead of time and calculate your mearsurements is impressive . If you have never worked skilled trades for a living you could have .
I have not seen all of the video's on this , so I am wondering if He is going to license the Blue Goose for the road or if it will be for the Track . If I had a vote on to paint or not , I would vote to leave it Patina . Once you paint over the Patina , there is no going back .
I will probably finish out the patch panels to keep them form getting exposed to the elements and try and match the patina as good as possible! That way I won't have to redo them later if I decide to finish it out ! Thanks
I do plan on driving it on the street and taking it to the track on occasion, it won't be terribly fast but should be able to hold her own on the street for the most part
Cool video, but I really think it would benefit a lot, if you added music during the fast forward parts. A lot of people have short attention spans or even A.D.D (including myself) and when I see fast forward/timelapse photography without music. It makes me either want to fast forward past it. Or I'll look away and watch the TV instead. I can't help it. Thanks for the video though.
Yeah it's not always the best option but sometimes it's a way to save a car that would otherwise not be economically worth saving! I paid $650.00 for the doner roadmaster master and it has provided a mountain worth of parts that I would have to spend a lot of money for other wise as much as this car needed! Thanks
Thanks for all you hard work and ingenuity on this build. Hasn’t been one video I haven’t enjoyed.👍🇨🇦
I appreciate that 👍

Your attention to detail is on point, good job, can't wait til it's finish. Keep up the good work!
Thanks
Excellent injunuity and injunering, top notch! I really go for this kind of stuff!
Thanks
I really enjoy your work!
I 2nd that .
Thanks 👍
Love it, makes my day to watch....
Thank's
Looking good Tucker. Looks very professional. Can’t wait to see the finished result. Thanks for sharing.
👍😄👉🇺🇸
Thanks
Another excellent fabrication tutorial. Enjoy your vids. Cant wait for next one. Appreciate your time.
Thanks
Your fab skills are really good, you make it look too easy, this project continues to get better looking forward to more.
Thanks

You are making great progress! Good work!
Thanks
I really like this build Tuck!! I cant wait to see it in action.
Thanks me to , looks like your making great progress on the old 150 !
Great craftsmanship! You have good ideas.
Thanks
Getting closer. Good idea with the filler neck. Take care Tucker👍
Thanks brother! Looks like some good progress is coming along on your 55 gasser
Looking good. Your about to get it done
Hopefully 👍

Heck yeah if nothing else she should at least stop better than new ! Lol
I kinda like how you change the way of thinking on how to build a car
Trying to keep it a little cheaper to be able to save a pretty rusty one !👍
Looking great
Thanks
awesome! 👍💪 good progress!
Thanks
Cool idea on the filler neck would never have thought of going through the frame. Very impressed nice update.
Thanks 👍
Looks great. Nice patch work, impressive.
👍
Great job as usual. You'll have her ready to race in May.
Thank going to cross my fingers!
I'm a fan of patina look.
Yeah , I agree . The patina is awsome .
Yeah for right now I will probably finish out the metal patches to keep them from getting exposed to the elements then match the patina as close as possible and drive it for a while and I can always finish her out later if I decide to 👍
You are surgical with that plasma cutter. Great build.
Thanks lol! 👍
So far its working out so good I see. Can't wait to see the complete process , by the way god job also on the Trans/tunnel metal work.
Great work. Get er ready to race now. 👍👍... looking great.
Thanks 👍

The upol copper based was better then the 3m weld threw 2 ?

I enjoyed that video, and looking forward to the next one!
Thanks
Looking forward to the next vid!!

Thanks! It will make it a little easier if I decide to try a 6 speed manual or something 👍
Coming along nicely, good work.
Thanks
I see no need to have the tunnel removable.
But I would use the original Buick part.
If it was a race car yes.
Just kinda leaving the options open incase I decide to install a 6 speed manual transmission in the future, with it removable it would make the swap a little easier! Thanks
Doing a great job. 👍
Thanks
keep 'em coming.

Can’t see where you need a removable trans tunnel. Weld her up and let it be!

Isn’t that hump on the floor and transmission tunnel going to be in the way of the accelerator pedal?
No it is following the same pitch as the roadmaster did originally at that point its just moved back 3-1/2"
Your imagination and hands are skills are fun to wittness , I bet you grew up doing this kind of work .
I always have had an old car addiction since probably 13 or 14 so I've been at it for a little while ! Lol

I used to like watching this show and I don't know what happened to it
It's coming together! Do you plan to fix the body up on the 57 or leave it patina ?
I have not seen all of the video's on this , so I am wondering if He is going to license the Blue Goose for the road or if it will be for the Track . If I had a vote on to paint or not , I would vote to leave it Patina . Once you paint over the Patina , there is no going back .

I love watching these videos but you take so long to put another one on I wish they were faster
@midnight flyer did u keep the inner rockers on the 57 ?

Was never fan of body swaps of older cars on newer chassis, but after watching your swap it has changed my mind.

I'm with you on the A.D.D. I'm still trying to learn on how to do music, you tube has all kinds of copyright laws about using music its ridiculous!
Gettin' her done. Next stop, blow the doors off that Mustang.
We are hoping for that shortly
