55 Nomad Rocker Replacement!

  • In this video we dive into replacing both passenger and the driver side rocker panels so we can move onto the last couple spots so we can get the new floor in! Hope you enjoy. All of the parts we used we got from restoration world out of ohio.

    Cool Video man! That nomad must have power windows factory to have the conduit coming from the door jam pillar! They use that metal to bring the power window harness into the doors! Your doing great metal repair and fab work on the car! I'm wondering what the body number is on the cowl tag! The first 500 55 Nomads built have alot of unique stuff on them!       It is an original power seat, power steering, power window and radio delete car! And thank you im excited to look up those numbers now that you mention it.

      @@vintagehotrods Yeah man look at the cowl tag it will have a body number. All nomad body's were built in Cleveland Ohio. Have a good one Buddy 👍

    Good job I had my share of rust repair working in body shops 40+years I really don't miss it I will be retiring in 21/2years and plan on building myself a car frame off resto mod tri 5 just really looking for something really solid to start with

    Like what your doing on the Nomad, where can I get a pair of those adjustable braces you have in the door jams. I would love to find a 55 Chevy, or a Nomad to restore.

      We got those from a friend and he actually made them in his shop for his personal builds
