The moment you said "it was like we were by ourselves on another planet exploring" gave me a rush of childhood wonder and nostalgia, sounds like an amazing time man!
I'm from Utah and I almost take these things for granted sometimes, it really is amazing. If you ever go back to Zions, I would recommend the Narrows as a good hike. You hike up the river into a canyon and the further up you get, the closer the canyon grows and the less people there are. There was a point where we found a rock to jump off into a really deep part of the river and you can go up so far, it is really fun. What a cool trip!
I am an Australian that back in 2018 had a Canadian working holiday visa (so basically I could work in Canada). I sometimes watched this channel (still do) for star wars content. I felt I should comment that this video inspired me to plan out a similar road trip, took a little more time (3 weeks) and went a little further. Consider this a thank you. For reference Vegas, Zion (Angels landing + subway), Bryce (peek a boo), Capitol Reef (multiple short hikes), Arches, Canyonlands, Natural Bridges monument, Mesa Verde, Santa Fe (Meow Wolf), El Malpais monument (Lava tube trail?), Grand Canyon south (Horseshoe Mesa but not 100% sure, went down and up 1,000 feet same day), Page (kayaked to the back of Antelope Canyon, no people but no light beams either), St. George, Vegas. Most of my friends then departed, but my girlfriend and I did Death Valley and Mojave desert preserve on our own after having done the above loop.
Exploring is the best. I'm sure you'll take your daughter rough camping. When my daughter was small, we would rough camp. cook over an open fire, no electricity. Kids love that and it's very cool to see how they keep themselves occupied without electronics. Great video although I have a craving for a beer...
i drove from North Carolina and did this along with death valley and all the northern states like idaho, montana, the dakotas and so on. spent 27 days doing it and i have never had so much fun in my life, though i did feel alone as it was a solo trip lol
I appreciated this video. It's good to actually learn more about your favourite UA-camrs and their life's, although I love all the Star Wars content, it's lovely to see this type of thing! Keep being you Greedo, and I'll keep coming back. Awesome vid, glad you had a great vacation. :-))
My family and i went on a trip to Zion, King's, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon about 4 years back. It was amazing. I must recommend Yosemite and Sequoia National Park in California. It is beautiful.
I'll keep that in mind! I think our next big trip is going to be Denali National Park in Alaska. That'll probably happen in the distant future though. Baby on the way!
I'm English,14, and have been to Vegas, The Grand Canyon and Monument Valley. They were amazing, by far the best trip I have ever been on. Makes me wish I live in America. I went in the exact spot at Monument Valley where Forest Gump was filmed and where you went. That feels so weird. I stayed on both the North and South rim of the Grand Canyon and the North Rim is way better. Quieter and surprisingly green. So glad I went on it.
Not tryna take the mick but how have you been to America 3 times and only been 14? Im 17 (also English) and have never been to America. Ngl I’m pretty jealous bro but hey glad you enjoyed it
Great video! I was super confused by the Star Wars gear at first as I stumbled upon this video while looking at planning a trip, lol! Alas, it's May 4th, so it was perfect timing! Thanks for sharing your trip and the pointers!
Thanks for sharing your experience Greedo, watching this made me feel happy inside. Reminded me of my favorite vacation when I was kid going through the Badlands, seeing devil's tower, traveling the Midwest. Makes me want to go on this trip in the future.
Wow! Love your video.. our friends are taking this trip in 3 weeks because of your video. We can't wait to hear about thier trip. We are planning on going in Spring 2023. When did you take this trip? What season? Thanks, Sonja
We just returned from this trip! Prior to going, I didn't even really look up any Grand Circle trips from the past, but instead I just made a map and then later found out that it was almost identical to said trip. One difference that we did that is really close and really spectacular is to head to Durango after Moab and ride the Narrow Gauge Railroad steam train from Durango to either Silverton or Cascade Canyon. It was amazing! Also, you get the bonus of Mesa Verde (the Cliff Dwellers) and Four Corners.
It is so heartwarming hearing Greedo talking about how he wants to do this with his daughter when she gets older. Congratulations man, so happy for you.
I live in southern Utah and I cannot express how much awesome your choice to do OP over angels is. It is by far, the best hike in a park full of epic hikes.
Go explore Colorado next! Mesa Verde, The Great Sand Dunes, the San Juan mountain, all of the mountains, it's all amazing. That should be y'all's next trip!
Colorado is a great suggestion and if you like Moab try Ouray Colorado. It's Moab minus about 90%. Much quieter, much nicer, much easier to get around.
Great video even without video. Loved the still shots. I wondered if we could do this trip in less than 14 days and still see and do a lot. You answered it. Thanks!
Really well planned trip on your part. One extra diversion (requires one day) from this would be to leave your route at Blanding, go west to Natural Bridges NM, then south over Moki Dugway to Valley of the Gods loop, and rejoin US 163 near Mexican Hat, Utah and then go through Monument Valley. Moki Dugway is a pretty unique experience. The drive from Blanding to Mexican Hat is meh. The drive from Blanding as I described is MUCH more scenic.
I didn’t think I would end up watching the whole video but I did and each place became a little bit nicer than the last. I’m not usually into the “deserty”, rocky places but this looks like an awesome trip! The fact you went to the same bar your dad did some 40 years ago must have been a trippy experience. Thanks for sharing man.
Wow, didn't know what to expect of this video. But this was a really great video, makes me really want to go on this trip. Sounds really fun man, glad you enjoyed it.
Good for you Greedo. My dream trip would be to go and visit every single national park in America. We have such a beautiful country and, even though I have such a long time from when I would inevitably die, I don’t want to feel like I missed out on anything, like so many people seem to do.
What a fantastic trip. My husband and I did a mini-version of this trip a few years back. Would love to do it again and include all the others. Retired now. Just got to work out the logistics. Thank you for sharing your vacation. ~Sherrie from South Carolina
Awesome video and trip man! I took a similar trip to all the national parks you went to in Utah a couple years back. I recognized all the things you were talking about, even ate at the same pie place in Capitol Reef! Great to hear another huge star wars fan talk about national parks, Glad you and your wife had such a great time there too.
If anyone sees this I would definitely recommend going to the North Rim instead of the South Rim. I've been to both of the Rim's and the North Rim is way less busy than the South Rim. I worked over at the North Rim over last Summer of 2019 from June to October. The scenery is beautiful. You have Point Imperial and Cape Royal along seeing Angel's Window. North Rim is in high elevation so be prepared. Drink lots of water. Nice video! I've been to all of those National Parks and Monument Valley except Canyonlands. They're all beautiful!
Great info. Thanks. Currently planning the Las Vegas Loop trip but sad to hear Antelope Canyon is currently closed for the foreseeable future. Appreciated all the RV planning trips at the end. Very useful.
Wish I would've bumped into you. I live in St. George! Ah well. I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've hiked all of those trails and you picked the good ones. You're also lucky that we haven't had much snow this year! On a normal year, you would've been knee-deep!
Now that’s an experience I’m desperately wanting to experience literally going through the mighty 5 national parks of Utah and monument valley, antelope canyon, horseshoe bend and Grand Canyon seems like a perfect luxury go to experience plus that would be a photography paradise for me if only it were to actually happen one day
I live in Utah, glad you could enjoy this state. I agree that the drives are awesome as well. If you go back I would recommend attempting to get a permit for a slot canyon in Zion, the subway is pretty awesome.
I live in northern Utah, and have been to most of the Utah parks; but have yet to go Lake Powell or the Grand Canyon. I am sure the mountains we have are pretty crazy compared to the flatlands in Florida! If you want another western trip with small crowds, visit the Great Basin region here in Utah/Nevada. You can head out from Salt Lake, drop down to Delta and see the Topaz Museum, head out to the Great Basin National Park, on to Ely and the Nevada Northern Railway, then off across the "loneliest road in America" until you get to west Nevada. From there, head up to Virginia City, Carson City, Reno, and then head west into California to visit the Lake Tahoe and Truckee regions. Lots of small town museums and state parks on the route. You won't really hit crowds until Virginia City and Tahoe.
I'm sure you've heard since, but your route took you right past Goblin Valley State Park in Utah which is awesome and it's a pity you didn't stop. And I do hope you have managed to get to the Grand Canyon North Rim since you did this trip. It is an entirely different experience than the South rim.
Not hiked for years but want to get back into it this year. Walked the West Highland Way a few times when I was younger. I had fun camping out with my mates having a few beers after a full days walking. Not sure I could do 92 miles in four days now though. Maybe do it over a week. Great video Greddo really enjoyed it. You took some awesome pictures.
Awesome video, The wife and me were trying to decide where to go on next years road trip and you have just persuaded us to do the grand circle! Many keep up the great work.
Sweet trip! Zion and Bryce are my favorite places to go, and I was a bit younger when I went so hopefully I’ll go again soon. Always nice to learn more about you and your great life as well!
Greetings from CT. Best Grand Circle Video! I want to do exactly as you two did, but alone. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful experience!!!! - Mya
I love your channel man! I'm a native Utahn. I go to Zion at least once a year! Fantastic place! If you go back, I recommend Angel's Landing, but it's always busy, and kinda scary haha! We hike the Narrows every time though! It's great once your feet get numb to the cold water. Also gotta watch your flash flood warnings on that one.
Great pictures, that propane is really the best bang for your buck. Making a road trip of my own in a few weeks to the Bigfoot museum in Georgia & the Cherokee National Forest.
That moment when we both stayed in the same rv park, and rv stall. I remember when my family went to moab, and i honestly can say that it was the best trip ive ever taken. 10/10
Yep! And they're delicious! I completely forgot to add a picture of them into this video. My wife took a picture of her homemade granola bar at the end of every single hike we did.
Just came across your video dude. I’ve been a subscriber of your page for a while but I’ve somehow never seen this video. My wife and I are both die hard Star Wars fans as well as big outdoor rec lovers, so this is a perfect Venn diagram of a video for us. I think we’ll look at doing this later this year. Thanks for the recommendation.
So glad you were able to check out Utah! Seriously all of those hikes are amazing, ESPECIALLY arches. Next time you go, you need to check out Goblin Valley! The rock formations are amazing and there are quite a few hikes you can go on!
i would love to see that! i think it is important for creators to branch out and make the content they want rather than forcing themselves to make videos about the same thing over and over
It was a nice and clever touch to address the fact that just random people looking for info might stumble uppon this haha great videeo though, its great to see the amazing journey you and your wife had together and cool that you shared it with us
No way! I did a smaller loop with Vegas, the grand canyon, antelope, bryce, and zion at THE SAME TIME!! It was amazing, Zion was my favorite since it had a change of scenery from everything else with greenery everywhere. EDIT: I also may have seen you since I saw that same RV at Bryce!
Wonderful trip! My family did a Grand Circle with my family, going to Zion to Bryce to Lower Antelope and finished in the Grand Canyon. It was the best trip I ever took in my entire life, and inspired me to become a National Park Ranger. We had a few days in each park we visited, so got to do a ton of trails. Zion is my personal favorite, however I do want to go back to the Grand Canyon one day to do the Rim to Rim trail. Anyways, great video man, enjoyed it!
Sadly, the Observation Point Trail from the canyon floor was completely obliterated by a MASSIVE rockfall in August 2019. It was a miracle nobody was [edit: seriously] injured. The footage from Angels' Landing is jaw-dropping. If it's rebuilt at all, it will likely take years. Work hasn't even started yet as of spring 2020 as the park service is still evaluating the stability of the area. You can still get to the point, but it's a rather flat boring hike (by comparison) that starts already at the top. I'd appreciate a pin for people trying to make plans for the forseeable future. Thanks. Adam from Moab.
1. THANK YOU for posting this because we’re currently plotting this trip for post-quarantine. 2. Could not agree more about Horseshoe Bend. I had a panic attack being there for sunset last October, too many crazy folks not paying attention!
in which month did you guys do this trip?! we wanna go there octobre 2019 and we´ve already been there two years ago but in july so we havn´t seen any snow
I did this exact trip (but in reverse) with my geology class back in college. We went to a few more spots than you but it took us 15 days to complete. Its definitely one of the best in the world! Great vid man!
I have been watching this video like hundreds time already. My husband and I been planning a trip like you and your wife did. Is it really cheaper to do the RV vs rental car and hotels? How much did you guys spend for the rv cause we’re doing 10 days trip as well
We went in March. Thanks for all the support!
The moment you said "it was like we were by ourselves on another planet exploring" gave me a rush of childhood wonder and nostalgia, sounds like an amazing time man!
Go!
Those pictures are priceless
Greedo knows how to marriage
I like seeing you branch off into non-Star-Wars stuff. Looks like an amazing trip.
0:04 It's time for today's hike... to end.
Perfect.
Nathan Rojas I was going to comment this but you beat me to it. lol
I'm from Utah and I almost take these things for granted sometimes, it really is amazing. If you ever go back to Zions, I would recommend the Narrows as a good hike. There was a point where we found a rock to jump off into a really deep part of the river and you can go up so far, it is really fun. What a cool trip!
I agree 💯%
Awesome video man! Beautiful wife, she's just as pale faced as you. But you two should work on your smiles. Always frowning.
For reference

Most of my friends then departed, but my girlfriend and I did Death Valley and Mojave desert preserve on our own after having done the above loop.
I did this exact loop myself, solo, back in 2009. An epic road trip. Some thing I will have for the Rest of my life.
My parents took us kids out west multiple times when we were young. Some of the most beautiful things you'll ever see!
Exploring is the best. I'm sure you'll take your daughter rough camping. When my daughter was small, we would rough camp. cook over an open fire, no electricity. Kids love that and it's very cool to see how they keep themselves occupied without electronics. Great video although I have a craving for a beer...
I love seeing all those images of Stormtroopers on vacation. Makes me smile.
i drove from North Carolina and did this along with death valley and all the northern states like idaho, montana, the dakotas and so on. spent 27 days doing it and i have never had so much fun in my life, though i did feel alone as it was a solo trip lol
Take a shot every time he says they drank beer
I appreciated this video. It's good to actually learn more about your favourite UA-camrs and their life's, although I love all the Star Wars content, it's lovely to see this type of thing! Keep being you Greedo, and I'll keep coming back. Awesome vid, glad you had a great vacation. :-))
Thanks, man!
I agree with you bro! Greedo is such a nice guy!
How about Yosemite? Always go there in the summer and never fails to impress me at how beautiful and peaceful it is
Random Generic Username #45 Ah yes i forgot about that. My family and I went Yosemite and Sequoia. Thanks for the reminder.
Thanks Teddy Roosevelt for keeping our lands protected ! Except the grand canyon that place is scary
When I hear Zion, I can't be the only one who thinks of the burning man.
Still one of the most badass characters in New Vegas.
James Atkins, Couldn't agree more
You have a great channel! Congrats with the 200K!
Thanks, Mathijs!
Dutch man!!!!!

I didn't go three separate times, I went to all those places in one trip. That's why is said it was the best trip (not trips)
Wil Meech ahh okay. Sorry my bad
Great video! I was super confused by the Star Wars gear at first as I stumbled upon this video while looking at planning a trip, lol! Alas, it's May 4th, so it was perfect timing! Thanks for sharing your trip and the pointers!
I took almost this exact trip with my parents when I was 14. One of the best trips of my life!
Thanks for sharing your experience Greedo, watching this made me feel happy inside. Reminded me of my favorite vacation when I was kid going through the Badlands, seeing devil's tower, traveling the Midwest. Makes me want to go on this trip in the future.
That sounds awesome! I have only head of the Badlands from video games :)
Wow! Love your video.. our friends are taking this trip in 3 weeks because of your video. We can't wait to hear about thier trip. We are planning on going in Spring 2023. When did you take this trip? What season?

Yes! Crested Butte is a must as well!
Yeah, Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs also
Garden of the Gods and Royal Gorge.
Colorado is a great suggestion and if you like Moab try Ouray Colorado. It's Moab minus about 90%. Much quieter, much nicer, much easier to get around.
Great job thanks for sharing. We went to Zion, Grand canyaon, in 2019 and plan on going back in 2022 for Arches ,Bryce , and some more stops
Great video even without video. Loved the still shots. I wondered if we could do this trip in less than 14 days and still see and do a lot. You answered it. Thanks!
We did a national park tour of California in 2016. We're doing a Rocky Mountain road trip version of that this year. So much fun.
This video itself is beautiful. Just makes me hope one day I may go there... Its a little far though. Just a dip across the pond y'know.

Glad you enjoyed it, River!
Never heard of your channel or had any interest in star wars. But I love your trip. Great humor and outlook on life
Im saving this for whenever a trip to that state happens. You should really do more of these, lots of great info.
Super informative and to the point video. Not a bunch of irrelevant chatter. Good job. Thanks!
I am one of those people researching a round the US camping trip, thanks for this excellent video, may the force be ever with you 😊
You somehow managed to become my favorite youtube channel :)
Reminds me of my trip to Bryce, Zion and Grand Canyon, wish I could have done the rest.

Excellent video.......agree, more time in Zion.....Grand Canyon is wonderful....Zion is outrageously beautiful....IMHO
Great info.
LOVED the storm trooper helmets! LOL
Looks like it was fun. Glad you guys had fun. I love this content along with the Star Wars stuff. The mix up is perfect.
I'm sure you've heard since, but your route took you right past Goblin Valley State Park in Utah which is awesome and it's a pity you didn't stop.
And I do hope you have managed to get to the Grand Canyon North Rim since you did this trip. It is an entirely different experience than the South rim.
Great video. You have inspired us to do the Grand Circle instead of just The Mighty Five next year. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for this! We hate crowds so I’m glad for your advice. You and your wife should visit Big Bend National Park and Terlingua, Texas!
Love the content
10:36 the bars name is windy MESA, how wonderful
Awesome video, The wife and me were trying to decide where to go on next years road trip and you have just persuaded us to do the grand circle! Many keep up the great work.
I went to the Grand Canyon in 2016. Lucky for me, it was a part of the canyon visited by few. It was great.
Sweet trip! Zion and Bryce are my favorite places to go, and I was a bit younger when I went so hopefully I’ll go again soon. Always nice to learn more about you and your great life as well!
Great overview, appreciate you putting this out there!
Outstanding this is really what I have been looking for in a road trip video. Thank you for your effort making this video.
Oh and also went to that same mexican restraunt. The refried beans are the best
The granola bars are what you made in one of the "Trooper to Table" shorts! Great video, I'm glad you had a great time.
I love this video! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
i would love to see for non star wars content like this! and congrats on 200k
I've been wanting to start "Movie Mondays" for months now. Just pick a movie every Monday to review / talk about. I might start that soon!
i would love to see that! i think it is important for creators to branch out and make the content they want rather than forcing themselves to make videos about the same thing over and over
Stunning pictures! One of them is my new wallpapaper. You should keep making more videos about non-related Star Wars stuff, great work Greedo!
Which shot?!
Ugh this looked so cool!!
Can't recommend it enough.
It was a nice and clever touch to address the fact that just random people looking for info might stumble uppon this haha great videeo though, its great to see the amazing journey you and your wife had together and cool that you shared it with us
Glad you enjoyed it, Peter! Thanks for tuning in.
You are one of my favorite UA-camrs HelloGreedo! Good luck to the Jags from a Dolphins fan!
No way! I did a smaller loop with Vegas, the grand canyon, antelope, bryce, and zion at THE SAME TIME!! It was amazing, Zion was my favorite since it had a change of scenery from everything else with greenery everywhere.
EDIT: I also may have seen you since I saw that same RV at Bryce!
this video is exactly what I needed. made my planning so much easier, thank u!
Planning a trip to southern Utah this summer! Was really excited to see this video in my feed!
Fantastic video! I’ve been to a few national parks before, but this really makes me want to do a trip like this with friends.
Love how in the first 2 minutes you called me out for finding this video at random, and then answered my first question. the strorm trooper helmets XD
Best video I have found on this trip!! Soo helpful!
Great video. Went to Zion as a kid and it was amazing. I vote for more non-star wars videos like this!
1. THANK YOU for posting this because we’re currently plotting this trip for post-quarantine.
2. Could not agree more about Horseshoe Bend. I had a panic attack being there for sunset last October, too many crazy folks not paying attention!

We are going on this trip this october. How was the weather while you were there in 2019?
Those pictures were great, loved the snow pictures.

Loved it, man!
I did this exact trip (but in reverse) with my geology class back in college. We went to a few more spots than you but it took us 15 days to complete. Its definitely one of the best in the world! Great vid man!
Really enjoyed this video! I’m looking into planning something like this for the beginning of April 2023. What time of the year did you go?
This was incredibly helpful, more so than any other RV travel video of the area u have watched!!
Most useful video for this trip I've found so far! Thanks so much.
Glad it helped, Thomas!
When did you go? I love that you got to see some snow at Bryce Canyon
I have been watching this video like hundreds time already. My husband and I been planning a trip like you and your wife did. Is it really cheaper to do the RV vs rental car and hotels? How much did you guys spend for the rv cause we’re doing 10 days trip as well
Heading to Utah next week. You have no idea how helpful it was the video I just watched.
Glad it helped!
