I must say, and I have never complimented anyone on you tube. Hands down, you all are 10 out of 10 on your balance of beauty, conversation, personality, and sincerity. Ive watched you all for over a year and I have watched you grow better month by month. I think what drives the improvement is your passion for what you do. God Bless.

Since you’re both sales-minded, you’ll appreciate a Zig Ziglar quote. In reference to “the dip” Trish mentioned...”Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.” You and your family ooze this from every pore! Attitude is everything. We need this positivity right now. Thanks for every episode.

A life long Michigander here. Michigan actually has two National Lakeshore Parks. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore AND a island 6 hours out in Lake Superior, called Isle Royale which is a National Park. Michigan’s only National park! Just to clarify! Isle Royale is a 100 miles Long Island with hiking for end to end. Full of moose and wolves. Both protected there. Well worth the trip!

🤣 we rented a minivan a few years back and did a 6,000 mile loop of the country with 4 kids in 14 days. It was epic, crazy, exhausting, and memorable. AZ, East to the U.P., then west to Rushmore than south. Ghost towns, random camping, and getting lost. It was awesome! Thanks for the 7 great places :)

This kind of adventure that is exactly why we decided to what we are doing on the road with our kids. Gosh - what a wonderful story and comment. Thank you for reminding us how lucky we are to live in this beautiful country from sea to shining sea! Trish, I know you have received several requests for recipes or even a cookbook creation. You have a relaxed attitude toward feeding your family that comes across as being relatively healthy. Example, the way you were nonchalantly setting the picnic table for you and Mark. Your meal selection looked fantastic for a picnic. Heck, it’s not like the family grocery store is located around the next tree! PS: Everyone needs to add a Blackstone Griddle to their inventory. This is the best method for fast and easy cooking!

When I was a kid back in the 70's, my parents would start planning the family trip in spring. Each one of us 3 kids would be given a special place we were going to visit, and we were to research what we would do when we got there. We took the same trip you are on right now, and it was one of the most memorable times of my life. I got yellowstone and the tetons on that trip. Have fun, and stay safe.

Awesome that you included Michigan - I strongly agree. We've done that trip including Traverse City, Mackinaw Island and Pictured Rocks - which is designated a National Lakeshore - so it counts as part of the National Park Service :). Living in North Carolina we deal with scorching summers. Our Michigan visit found us wrapped up in blankets watching fireworks as it was quite chilly compared to what we're used to.

The tip for goin with the flow as far as planning is a great tip. I love the upper michigan and traverse city too. One thing i did was hubby n i went to tampa to the rv shiw. One the way back i took hwy 19 which goes along the gulf to get back to georgia. I would pull off at places along the way cause we werent in a Hurry. Last place i stopped at was cedar key florida. Omg! So cute. We found this one cottage type place. We had no reservations mind you. We got a heck if a deal since it was off season. Winded up staying there for 3 days! So peaceful. Stars everywhere. Found the best restarant called Tony’s. They make the best clam chowder! Lol. And i was born and raised in the east coast. My point is sometimes the best vacations is spontaneity. 👍❤️

I love Cedar Key also. I used to take an empty 48 qt. cooler and buy oysters from the boats. They'd shovel it full, add ice. It was about 20 dozen oysters, dirty, you had to rinse them and shuck them, but it was $8! We rented a condo and shucked oysters most of the weekend!

This one is super…and we ended up watching two more as reruns just to re-enjoy. Thanks a lot for all the WORK you do for the rest of us who are getting into RVing. Especially we who are so called “old retired folks”. Lord Bless you and yours.

One place we stayed for a few days to recharge was Livingston, MT and it was great! Love your shows, maybe see you in Acadia this summer!

What a great video! Michele and I retired on 4/1/16 and have done all of these trips and agree totally with your analysis. This winter we are heading for FL again and plan to do a slow roll down the west coast to the Keys then up the east coast. Key West is one of my bucket list destinations because my father spent several winters there recuperating after WWII with his 37 Buick Convertible and trailer driving from Connecticut to the Keys. We still have the Buick but the trailer is long gone. We are currently at home base in Boise, Idaho visiting with grand babies before heading out again later this summer.

Love this video! I was fortunate enough o be invited on a road trip with a friends family back in 1980. We traveled from Boston to LA and back in a little less than three weeks in a 1972 Dodge motor home. I remember it like it was yesterday. I'm 53 years old now and do as much camping with my wife three teenage boys as my schedule allows. Safe travels, see you next Sunday!

Danny and I took a 10 day fast trip about 3 years ago. Stayed in a different hotel every night. It was before we got our RV. It was both amazing and exhausting. We definitely want to go back and stay a little bit longer in each area. We left Tennessee, saw the Badlands Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons and Jackson hole. It was wonderful!

Great Smoky Mountains National Park is amazing! My favorite place was Smokemont Campground near the town of Cherokee (Cherokee Nation headquarters and reservation in most of the town but there are museum and restaurants/shops). Saw a herd of Elk, deer, and turkeys. Semi-boondocking there as no electric hookups and generators daytime up until 7:00pm. They had clean restrooms and water and paved spaces. There also is a horse stable with rental horses and a hay ride. Good pioneer farm museum and visitors center nearby.

Thanks for taking your time to make recommendations to those of that are unable to take extended time off. One thing that has me scratching my head is why you guys didn’t go with another f450 this time around. The turning radius makes it more tolerable to drive unhitched.

This video made me sooo homesick. I grew-up in Great Falls, MT, went to college in Bozeman (my most favorite place in the US) and spent a lot of time on the Gallatin River fly fishing. Loved all your recommendations. Have done most of those trips. We are looking at the NE for fall colors and then in the early spring Key West. All depending on the how open things are by then. Love your videos and look forward to them every Sunday night.. Be safe. Rose and Mike

I know I'm watching an older video but I can't thank Trish enough for her ongoing wisdom about "letting everyone have their own trip". It made all the difference in our (non-RV) family beach trip last Memorial Day with 2 16- year old boys. It made it so relaxing and fun for everyone! We also extend her wisdom to our group RV trips. It takes the stress out. How'd ya'll get so smart, LOL?! Thanks.

Really enjoyed this video! We typically stay one night in a campground as we make our way across A LOT of land in a short amount of time. So you're right, people do cover a lot in just a few days and it's so fun! We LOVED the Keys. Went in December and it was perfect! Can't wait until we make it to the PNW.

We do a few 10 day trips and usually a 3 week trip each year - we often do stay one night at a place as we are trying to squish in whatever we can. We rarely plan our stops - just wing it. We’ve done Highway 1 several times and it’s always spectacular! Did The Kentucky Bourbon Trail too. And now on to the rest of this list!!
