quick tip for wrapping wire around the glass, once you get it around the jar, twist it once so they are together then stick them in a drill. Quicker and easier on the hands. All your projects were great, defiantly gave me ideas. Thanks for sharing 😉
Love your house! So much color and character. I prefer your farmhouse style rather than the new trend of only white shiplap and gray and black. You are brilliant! ❤️
These all turned out so beautiful! My grandma had tons of those old spools 🧵🧵🧵and I use to play with them when I was little. I sure wish I had been able to have kept some of those old spools! What a great memory this diy stirred up for me! My grandma would’ve given me all of them I wanted. We were so close and I sure do miss her!!
I love ALL your projects! I think I would have finger painted over the top leaves on the Apple juice bottle to bring out some color on those as well, with either the gold already used or with green, with some orange & yellow/gold for fall.
Hi Jessica, your intro is the best! I love the soft guitar music and the serenity of your property with the pony, chickens and cats. Very warm and inviting. Love how creative you are, please keep those videos coming we love them all. Blessings to everyone
I was just wondering....for the board with the wooden thread spools....could you have used plastic anchors inside the hole of the spool so you wouldn’t have had to drill into the spool itself? It turned out lovely😊
That might work too! I would just make sure to get ones that would hold the weight you are looking to hang on it. I Just hang aprons on mine and am planning on using it to dry herbs from our garden when we grow those! :)
Don't know why I'm so late to this party (aka video), but here I am! I just wanted to tell you how much I love the board with the wooden thread spools!! I'm in my mid60s and that makes me think back to my childhood. And I was country-raised, you nailed it.
As always so cute you are very talented liked them my favorite is the hanger with the spools so now I have a idea what to do with mine. Again Thanks for Sharing.
I love your style! That spool hanger is PRECIOUS....one of my friends pics for me and just brought me a bunch of old sewing notions with lots of old spools with the thread still on....giving some inspiration of what to do🙌🏻 I’m lucky have plenty of barn boards....oh the possibilities🌟 thank you for sharing😊k
Those green scrubbies and dish soap will remove the ink stamp from glass bottles. And coconut oil removes the sticky glue if you let it sit. I hate the smell of goo gone.
Hey Jessica, I'm a new subscriber and I love all of these projects. I'm getting ready to binge all your videos. I can't believe all of the negative comments and I can't believe some people have nothing better to do. Thanks for sharing! I really appreciate you taking the time to share your creativity. ❤❤❤
A palette knife or a paint scraper would have got the gingerbread man off the cutting board easier,I hope this helps.Paint scrapers are handy for many jobs.I'm a new subscriber and enjoy the makeovers.I live in Australia.
♥️ Hi Jessica ☆ Could you possibly make a few more videos like this one ( several SIMPLE mini projects ) with different materials ○ GLASS WOOD ETC whatever ♧ Also in .the same video a résumée of the basic tools ( pliers drills glue stuff brushes ) as well as a mention of the ( brands cost etc ) needed for the projects □ LOVE THAT SPOOL RACK ☆ AND THE COMBO OF THE HOOKERS GREEN SAFFRONY YELLOW AND THE ONE WITH THE LABEL SPOOLS ¤ KEEP UP THE GODD FUN WORK 🐒🍂♥️ THANK YOU ♥️ 🦋JESSICA 🌞💐🐴♥️
What a great idea using the crib spindles for framing! I have a bunch of old wooden thread spools. They were my Mom's & Grandma's. This is a great idea on how to use them. Right now they are just sitting in jars in my craft room. Loved all of these projects! When you wet ragged your candle stick, did you wait for the paint to dry?
Everything looks AMAZING 😍 if you had gotten a dowel for the spools maybe that would've been easier to attach them to the board, as the hole they already had could've been used to glue them over the dowel xx
Loved all the projects you did on this video. I just subscribed to your channel today and cannot wait to see more. Happy New Year from Canada. I love your intro of your farm, Ive always wanted to live someplace that looks so serene. Be well. - Lisa
Greetings! Wow that came out beautiful and gorgeous😮😊👍 Love it! You are so talented, and thank you for sharing your ideas and talents to us! God Bless you! 😃👋
With the spools why didn’t you just get some extra long wood screws or sheet rock screws or even just some extra long screws like you put cabinet knobs on with?? Would have been alot easier.!! And then touch up the screw with paint if you went in through the front. And the wood looks rough, I think over time you will wish you sanded it down first because it will collect dust easy and you won’t be able to dust it. But I absolutely love the idea and am sure that one won’t be the only one made!! The light globe was a great idea!! But I wished you had cut the wire and made a hoop on both sides to connect the handle. On the little juice jug, it looks cloudy now. I am assuming from the mod podge. I thought it was really cute before that was put on there. I absolutely loved *All* of your ideas today!! My favorite project was the board with the spools on it!!!! Love it!!❣️ Then the globe for a candle holder❣️_And then_*All of them*❣️ Please don’t take offense to any of *My suggestions /Opinions*. Because that is the last thing I want to do is offend you. I think you do a great job and have a good eye with ideas. I would like to ask or suggest one thing that I would like to see you do, _Is please do some furniture_!! I think you would be great at that too!! 💟
Shandele Broyles not offended at all 😊. And I do have some furniture pieces I am looking to redo soon! And your ideas for attaching the spools could work well too. I think that’s the beauty of sharing ideas is there is always different things to do things that someone might not have thought of and I love getting those suggestions. Not only could it help me but it could help others if they read the comments 😊❤️
I wonder if a magic eraser would take the stamp off the glass bottle. I've it take other stamps off things, but never tried glass. You're so creative. I love this channel. It's given me lots of ideas for the auction we have at our family reunions. I usually make wreaths, it's only thing I know to make lol thanks for the inspiration
My favorite is the barnwood with the spools. I absolutely love it. I have a piece of barnwood in the garage calling my name. It actually came from my grandfathers barn and now I have inspiration to use it for something special. Thanks for the post.
I love the vintage spool hangers. Our home had a hodge podge of door knobs, some vintage, when we purchased it. I saved the vintage ones and I think they would work for a similar wall hanging. Thanks for the inspiration!
Jennifer Johnson Those are beautiful done that way!! I have seen them a lot over the years. They are usually on a piece of old or weathered barn wood!! I would love to do it but the knobs are to expensive when you find them unless you could find some at garage sales. 💟
Really cute ideas....love the stencil you used..my favorite was the bobbin spool hanger...LOVE IT...never seen that done before. Thanks for sharing with us.
I love all of your projects. With the apple juie jar, if you don't have any goo gne, I just use alochol ans a cotton ball to to remove the reside. I've watched a couple of your videos, liked, subbed and hit the retro bell
Love all your ideas and the execution of them all...you do a really great job! You might want to check the grammar before you stencil your signs, though. The word "it's" only has an apostrophe if 'it's' a contraction of two words: it is. But love your ideas and creations.

You need a putty knife to scrape things off. It will be much easier and less chance of gouging.
What are you using to hold the stensel still? Thanks.
Painters tape works great to hold stuff in place! 😊
Can't think of a better way to use/display those spools
I love your board and the apple juice jar. I’m going to be checking out my lookalike recycling bins.
💗💗
❤ How your spool rack turned out.
Gorgeous
As always so cute you are very talented liked them my favorite is the hanger with the spools so now I have a idea what to do with mine. Again Thanks for Sharing.
Do you always have to put clear wax over chalk paint? I have not used that paint yet!

Lots of great ideas. Thank you!
I really love them all! Lemon and orange oils work very well to take off sticky labels and those expir stamps.
Diane H thanks for the advice
Diane H but you would have to make sure the oil was washed off good before painting!!💟
@@ShandeleReynolds I just wipe it off very good with a paper towel and never have had a problem.
New sub to your channel. Like your projects!
Love all the projects
Please recheck the Proverbs 6 quote. You have a misspelling.
Love the board using spools!

Cathy Greaves yes I gave it a few minutes to dry. As long as it is a water soluble paint, it should wet distress. 😊

Liana Palumbo that’s a great idea! 😊
Liana Palumbo yeah would have been a great idea!! But they might break easy if you hung something too heavy on it??
But great idea!!💟
