Truly grateful for everything you share! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing that Erica that was awesome! Good hints!
Love the tip on heating pouring pitcher, never thought about this. I love using the funnel. I bought one to make 4 oz tins for my daughter's upcoming wedding. Life safer that is for sure.

Thanks for the link for a smaller funnel. I can't use the larger ones I find.
Great set up.
I literally was just wondering if I missed a new video from you, so I went searching and found this....it said it was posted 4 seconds ago when I saw it. Lol
Oh wow that’s so ironic! 😆
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo I love it! I knew I hadn't seen anything new since your last video...but I didn't expect that lol I truly look forward to your content. Thank you!
I love your candle studio setup!
Thank you!! ❤️
omg this is so helpful you are a Jewel!!!! New Subscriber i been in love with candles, oils and love fragrance ive been naturally drawn to them i love stuff that smells good i will be watching before i just venture off again. You definitely helped me so much what can of wax you recommend starting with or jar sizes
Sweet video Erica! I loved the ideas and checking out your new high tech " pot", It looks like a solid investment. It was helpful- I'm liking the bulk approach and batching technique so you can focus on quantity of a single scent. I watched the video twice just to get all the points in... well three times really- because you know how we roll. #teamErica100 😉🌈✨✨👌🧡🧡
Aww thank you Ruby!! And yes the digiboil has been a total game changer for my business!!
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo - 🕯 Its my honor. Keep going! 🥳🎈
Hi Birdy!!!❤️🐾🐾❤️
I have been watching you since I started this journey. You have help me out a lot. Thank you.
I do have questions you order your vessel from 16/17 or candle science?
How many oz are your large vessels because I’m trying to get everything with one place and 16/17 has the most beautiful vessels.
It really impressive!! Congratulations!!! Could you ever consider pull process instead of push one? Could you share your experience? Tx.
Hi! Do you clean out any left over melted wax from your digiboil or do you leave it in there for the next wax melt?
Hi Erica, I was wondering if you ever had a problem cleaning the silicone beakers? Do they hold fragrance scents between cleaning? I'm on the fence on whether or not I should purchase these or the 100 mls glass speakers.
I literally have been pondering this question myself and here you were! I wish there was a wax pot that could be set for the exact grams / fluid ounces and dispense that amount and shut off. I can only fill the pitchers to a certain level so I can control the amount of wax and FO I’m pouring. The pistol funnel is phenomenal! How do you clean your funnels? Thank you SO much, Erica!
Gosh that would be amazing! There are machines like that but they are huge and expensive! 😅
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo Hi Erica! I found the vid on how to clean the funnel, TY! While I’m here….SO HAPPY YOU KICKED SIX FIGURES LAST YEAR!!! You must be over the moon! You’ve worked so hard to get to this place, you deserve everything good coming to you!❤️🥳🥳🥳🌟🍾
Well. This came just in time. I think I just sold out of everything again and will be bringing my current stock into a local space tomorrow. (No web store yet, still selling out of the backpack.. or well.. a box now). Thank you for sharing. I have 2 pitchers now also and was moving onto doing the same practice in my next batch. Your funnels look a lot easier to work with than my repurposed yogurt bowls.
I wonder.. do you think using a coffee pot pad for the pitchers would work as well as the heat gun? It might be something I experiment with.
Hmmmm I’m not sure but you could try it! The heat gun works extremely fast so I’m not sure how fast/efficient the coffee warmer would be but you could try it!
Hi, I have basic question.
How do you maintain poring temperature while pouring g bulk especially when you take out 2 pitchers at a time?
May I ask what is the thing you used to avoid overfilling? The one you transferred from one jar to another
Hi, love all your videos! Just a quick question, did you clean up all the pitcher and pistol funnel in between scents? Thank you!! 🌹
Heat gun and paper towels :)
I'm just now seen this video. Where did you get the wax melter that you put your beeswax in? I'm trying to find one that size.
Hello I was wondering if you recommend a starting kit? I’m lost I’ve be researching for last 4days and everyone is different. I’ve ordered my scents from candle science
Hi Erica, again thank you for the great video. I have watched all your videos. What is the name of the little gadget that tells you where to stop pouring wax in your jars that way you get the same pour every time? You said you would put the link but I don't see it. Thank you always for sharing your the items you use.
It is the third link in the description and the pinned comment 🤗 it’s an Etsy shop!

How do you clean the pitchers😍
Do you have to heat the jars too before pouring?
Hi ercka. What is actually 3 beaches of the same scent?
Hi.. I have a question? Why you mix soy wax and beeswax, is a plus ?
Where you purchase wax pots and sizes please?
Hi Erica Great video.. do you ever have any issues with your wax overheating? I have a presto pot and it seems as if the temp gets higher even when I have it set on a certain temp.
No too much with the digiboil but I do remember the presto pots being more finicky with the temp (so I would check it every 15 minutes or so!)
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo ok will do thank you
I need a tutorial on pouring with the pistol pleaseee
It’s so much easier when you can get a system going that you’re comfortable with , my batch pouring is pretty much on point , I’m just never making enough labels 😅 , I love labeling it’s the designing that drives me insane , I have a love hate relationship with the label design aspect, I know if I did this ahead of time just like everything else life would be great but nope 🤣 I’m always telling myself oh you’ll have enough …….so not true 🤣. Is the pistol funnel hard on your upper arms ? Or is it pretty comfortable?
Hahaha I do this sometimes! I really need to start printing more out at a time so I have them on deck when I need them!
And not really! I fill it halfway and it’s not too heavy :)
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo 😂Same ❣️
Do the silicone cups hold fragrance (transferring the scents to other oil batches)or get gooey? Does the FO cling to the cups? I have been using glass but the paranoia of breaking them...beaker glass is a nightmare to clean up.
It's actually not good, you should get the glass beakers because the silicone tend to keep the fragrance.
what scale do you use?
May I know the size of your jars please? The dimensions of it that is. I love them and want the same for my business
Question about candle math for bulk pours. How do you scale up your recipes? Do you take the wax weight and fragrance oil weight of one candle and multiply by however many vessels you need to fill, OR do you do candle math on the fill weight total for all your vessels? I've tried it both ways and somehow am not getting enough mix to fill my vessels.
I do the first way!
I figure out how much it takes to make one candle and then I multiply by how many candles I need!
A couple tips:
Add a few grams to your total fill weight, this will help give you a little extra to account for accidentally overfill one vessel when pouring, or the leftover residue wax in the pouring pitcher.
Also, focus on under pouring first and then go back and try to make everything “even” ❤️
Bless, thank you! 👏
I think it's hard to make sure the weight of the wax is accurate, and the production speed is slow. What do you think?
I have been meaning to ask for a while, but the beeswax, do you add that to firm up the candle? I don't want to use para-soy but each soy type just cannot survive here with the heat. Well, the TW-30 does but I don't think the tart wax will blend/burn well with soy-10.
Yes that’s exactly what I use it for! I use it to bring the melt point up!
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo Thank you. I may have to try that to avoid para-soy. I mean, it is not horrible but people seem to not want any paraffin so I am trying to see how to do it.
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo Did you switch from tw30 to beeswax because of the much higher melt point of the beeswax? i noticed tw30 and soy10 are pretty close in temp for that.
@@raemcginnis3118 yes, correct! ❤️
I use the double boiler method and right after I remove the candle wax pitcher and add fragrance oil and stir for not even 30 seconds, my wax has cooled down 10-20 degrees past recommended pour temp. I find myself putting pitcher back in water pot to bring temp back up. I feel like I’m missing something here lol. Any advice?
Assuming you've got a thermometer in the pot the entire time & removing from heat once temp reads 185. All good. It's normal for the temp to begin decreasing as soon as you start stirring.
Where can I order wick holders?
Hi, how much soy wax and bees wax you use? And also much fragrance oil ?
I use 8% fragrance oil and I’m constantly changing the ratio of beeswax so I usually don’t mention that :)
I have that pistol funnel , but how do you clean it ? It’s so time consuming for me
With a heat gun and a quick wipe with a paper towel!
Can i see the complete room your in?
Do you calculate any time expense into your products... so you get paid. Or are you just calculating raw materials?
So this is something that I have realized that I technically did “wrong” in the beginning as I only calculated the raw materials as the COG. But I do recommend adding labor into your COG.
Does putting plastic in your jars that effective in slow cooling? I’ve been thinking about doing this due to my candles’ sinkhole nightmares 😔
They come like that out of the box so I keep them on until I label them. For me personally it’s mainly to try to reduce the amount of finger prints on the jars, but it also helps slightly with “insulation” for heat!
Do you have a piston for each scent?
No i just have one (well two actually, I just bought another one!)
What do you call those things at the top of the jars?
Wick holders from www.etsy.com/shop/carpelink
🤍
Does the wax not cool between each pour?
It does a little bit but I never notice any adverse affects of it :)
I’m new to this, so my question is why r u pouring soy wax & bee wax together?
It’s just a custom blend I have found to work well with my candle jars/wick combo :)
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo thank you, I have been watching you for a while now, and I like the way you come across with so much detail. Thank you and I wish you so much success. Keep making videos.
I saw your video on 464. I currently use it and am not happy with the scent throw. I saw that you said you use a wax that is much stronger? If you are okay with sharing which wax you use, could you do so? My wick and fragrance load are on point, I can smell it, it’s just not as strong as I’d like (I like a strong smelling candle) thanks so much
I've watched many videos of your in my own little journey of thinking I can get this started for myself but I've never found one of why you include some beeswax in your mix? Probably just missed it but why do you do that?
Hi! Check out this video ☺️
ua-cam.com/video/Y7BrjoYY8Ww/v-deo.html
@@MemoryBoxCandleCo Thank you. That’s what I was hoping you would do ❤️ After seeing the title, I feel very stupid 😂
Why do you mix with a skewer? I feel like you can’t get a good blend because it’s so small
We haven’t had a problem :)
Hi Erica, I was wondering if you would be able to make a video on batch numbers and how to record them? This is something that I cannot grasp my head around.
