Just recalling the key points To lead others we need to first start by leading ourselves. (40% of time) Self leadership consists of 1) Self Awareness - Recall who is leader you like/don't like. Compare their actions with yours and adapt. 2) Self reflection - 2 to 5 minutes a day 3) Self resolution - If getting frustrated, gauge the importance of the issue and act accordingly
I really agree with the notion that in order to lead other we must have self awareness and self-reflection, you must understand 1st why you want to lead others, this is how you will truly understand what type of leader you want to become but most of all it will allow for the self reflection that is necessary to determine if ones actions are consistant with that of a good leader.
You made excellent points about what it takes to be a leader, I don't think that eveyone is meant to lead others. Truly, I believe that self awareness and self reflection are key to gauge whether one is developing themsleves to be a leader that others can stand behind, a person has to know themselves in order to aviod becoming a leader who will ultimately leading others badly.
Thanks a lot for your comments, very interesting builds. Discovering about oneself whether you want and can be a leader and acting accordingly is important step in one's personal journey.
Yeah thanks or whatever but I have questions... what’s your name Mexicano or candiqndian because I have spent my life away trying to figure what ur name is pronounced
The best leaders are givers, they are caring people. False leaders , which are most want to be referred to as leaders are looking for an applause and do it for power. They want to micromanage thinking they are leaders. But It is exactly like parenting, a good true leader is like a loving caring parent.
There are bosses and there are leaders. True leaders are hard to find. Leaders are inspiring, have a giver mentality and a serving attitude. They do not feel threatened but delighted when you grow and are proud if they helped you grow.
Leaders are listeners. The most successful leaders know to ask questions and not to answer them. Those who don’t rush to give advice are usually the most trustworthy. Those who stop long enough to really listen will invariably give the best advice, if they give any at all.
Lead yourself by leading by example. When you lead by example you set a standard and culture that your peers will see and follow leaving them no excuses. This has worked best for me, always come with a mindset that you’re going to out work everyone and it becomes contagious, creating a friendly competitive environment. I call this a winning culture but it all starts from the top.

This is a great talk- because when it comes to leadership the hardest person to lead is yourself-. If you lead yourself well you can lead a nation. Thanks
Many people simply assume that rising in ranks is the same as being a "leader". A leader will take on a senior role in an organization (sooner or later) but not all senior personnel are leaders! It is important to comprehensively understand the ‘mechanics’ of being a leader. Good talk. Food for thought for sure…
Self-leadership can be very difficult to develop, especially when we are so busy already leading! However, it is so important to break through this barrier and seek that self-leadership within ourselves in order to positively lead others. By being aware of what we want to be and don't want to be, we can better understand what we should and shouldn't be putting to practice.
Communication is key. You won’t become an owner unless you go through it and know. Can’t order if you’re not willing to do it. You’ll be speaking to the wind and it shall go through.
While achieving a utopian leadership ideal might be a lofty goal, Sudmann's insights offer a clear path forward. I particularly loved his focus on self-leadership. In today's chaotic world, it's more important than ever for leaders to know themselves, grow personally, and inspire their teams. His three strategies are actionable and easy to implement.

Leadership is one of the highly regarded qualities of an individual to be successful in life. Leading life positively in all aspects can influence others to follow his good deeds and examples
Leadership is not about rank, it is about the mindest, u need to think for others from any kind of perspectives. When u lead an organization, ensure that u internalise your mind to embrace other's flaw by giving encouragement and not humiliation. When u start to rage due to unsatisfactory, hold for seconds to set your situation in a favourable position before u talk out. Hence, you might be a likeable person and eventually many people start to conform you as a true leader.
Know Thyself ( know yourself) by Plato is a wonderful philosophy followed in self leadership. Self Reflection, Self Awareness and Self Resolution are the key to self leadership. Thank you sir
Great talk . Some of the leaders become leader because the majority choose them but deep down, the choosen leader does not know how to lead themselves first .
This was good Leading yourself before you lead others. How important is this problem that I have encountered?
I am a great leader , assertive and speak my mind. I have great négociations skills and I can do great things in life. I am a healthy leader and manager . I have great people skills. I am good at communicating and good at confrontation. I am learning day but day , little by little. I trust my intuition and my heart
Great talk! At first I so badly wanted to forward this to my old boss - the worst leader I ever had. Now I think the best thing I can do is be nothing like my old boss. I need to become the best leader - the leader he wasn't and never will be.
Self awareness, self reflection and self regulations will lead us to a great self leadership style to be a better person as we move a step closer towards goodness in this journey of ours...

What an interesting perspective on leadership! During COVID, I made sure to regularly connect with my team and reassure them that their hard work will meet success. As their boss, I believe that I should always make sure that they're not only working for the company but also for themselves. Hope to see more awesome content! :)

So much BS....those g@y cliches are worn out. True leaders take and take and focus on self. If you think otherwise you are delusional.
