  • In today’s video I’ll be showing you exactly how to set up a MistKing System, as well as a step-by-step on how to program a MistKing Timer to spray your tanks up to 10 times a day! It is pretty straight forward, just follow these steps and you'll be setting up a MistKing system in no time! The JungleHobbies Mist King system is great for reptiles and amphibians because it allows you to set a schedule for spraying all your tanks, or control the humidity through a hygrostat probe. This is a perfect misting system chameleons, chameleon enclosures, for dart frog vivariums, Indonesian blue tongue skinks, and other high humidity loving species.

FOR ANYONE THAT GOT THE STARTER SYSTEM: it doesn’t have the valve thing she mentions so cut enough tube to go straight to the pump (it’s hard to remove and I learned this the hard way), it also doesn’t come with the tube cutter or the stabilizer piece for the top of the lid !

Oh crap really?? So I have to order all that separately?? Rude. At least the screen stabilizer part should be included. Dang.

@@dm2836I had the same thought, just received my “starter” kit.
It’d be nice if it came with 4 nozzles minimum.
Going to see if the tubing guys at work can build me a system that isn’t reliant on another company jibbing me out of cash for plastic parts.

Genuinely the only MistKing instructional video that is clear and concise. Thanks! Anyone that is using the Starter (v5) system for multiple enclosures: bare in mind that you will need to buy additional T and elbow valves in order to make the connections, nevermind additional nozzles. I would also buy a tube cutter - you cannot cut the tubing with scissors.

The tank featured in this video looks pretty cool right? I may or may not have a video coming out soon that shows a step-by-step guide on how I built it! Subscribe to my channel to be notified when that video comes out!

Note/PSA: The timer presented in the thumbnail of this video is incorrect, as it is not the model that is actually demonstrated in the video. The one in the video is the ST-24, while the picture shows the RCT-24, which has completely different operation than the older one shown in the thumbnail (the RCT-24).
