Fyi, you do not need to turn the battery on first. Just hold the power button on the controller for a few seconds

I bought a Pace 2 because of your great review a couple of years ago, so thanks, I love the bike. What sold me was your recommendation for the disconnect plugs which really came in handy when I needed to replace some components.
Question? Can I retrofit the torque sensor for the pedal assist on my Pace 2?

Aventon will have parts soon to do the retrofit. A shop will be needed, I would not suggest this as a do it yourself conversion

You have to be pedaling to shift on this bike. Very few electric bikes can do that

Yes it can, I have some customers that replace the tires for some with more tread but the stock tires are fine for most people
