I've had my Ramblas for about 3 weeks now and LOVE it! There are a lot of things that are easy to nitpick about the choice of components, but for the price they're all perfectly fine. Plus the frame and mid-drive motor make it worth the $$$$ to upgrade over time. Since I live in cactus and goathead country, my first gripe is the wheels because they're not tubeless compatible. But I do have some Tannus liners to install before spending the money for a new wheelset. The SRAM derailleurs & shifters work great, but since I'm used to Shimano, I may eventually swap the SRAM for Shimano. No complaints about the brakes and at some point I may swap out for a better fork.
My only real complaint about the Ramblas is the controller and the dropper seat post. The seat post does do what it's supposed to but the laver is stiff, clunky to use and since it appears to be integrated with the brake lever you cant move it or adjust the angle so that in the way a lot. One common complaint that I have seen from others is about the PAS controller. It works great, but the button layout, makes it too easy to either scroll or change the PAS level by mistake Too many times, I changed my hand position and went from ECO mode to OFF.
When it come to the 3 contact point between the bike and me, I usually swap the grips, saddles and pedals to what I know keeps me happy. For the price and quality of the Ramblas, none of the above are deal breakers and other than the clunky dropper seat post and lever, Aventon NAILED IT with the Ramblas!!

Man this bike is awesome just picked one up, the only problem is the tires not being tubless.

Yes it is! I see why they didn't go tubless; reduces cost and easy to upgrade to that. Nice to see a dropper post was included though..

I know this is mostly for trails, but how suited for city hill riding would this be?

This is a great looking and nice bike but for a mountain bike it should have rear suspension. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t buy it.

It's fine without it, honestly. It's a heavy, fun bike and would be more money and even more weight with rear suspension.

You would spend at least another $1000+ for it.

First hard tail goes over chunk no problem helps me battle bladder cancer at 67. Eventually if I don't run out of life will get a super light when technology dictates! Rock til u drop started at 5 1962!

Fair enough! but keep in mind not that many years ago all mountain bikes only had front suspension.
