The Milwaukee Tool ROVER a USB Rechargeable LED flood light that is more innovative than I ever thought it would be.
    Light Quality
This compact floodlight emits a clean, bright, consistent flood light pattern.
Milwaukee used LEDs that offer true color representation and call it TRUEVIEW™ High Definition output. This means that it allows users to ascertain true colors [think multiple colored wires] without distortion.
    Three Light Output Modes
The ROVER has 10 LED arrays in the the pivoting bezel. There are three different output modes; low, medium and high, to allow you to optimize your light output and runtime and get up to 11 hours of runtime.
High mode: 550 lumen- 2.0 hours
Medium mode: 250 lumen- 4.5 hours
Low mode: 100 lumen- 11.5 hours
The ROVER gives off a fair amount of light for its size.
    USB Charging
The ROVER charges internally with micro-USB cable from USB power source or AC outlet. (wall plug not included) the battery is also removable so you can also swap out the battery if needed. You can achieve 80% charge in under 1 hour (*Using 2.1A compatible wall plug) The internal battery is capably of over 2,000 recharges.
A single LED fuel gauge allows fast checking of the battery charge, and shows the battery charge in green, yellow, and red. It comes with a heavy duty 24” USB cord.
    Pivoting Light Head
The ROVER light head's 210° of rotation allows you to direct high output LED light to any work surface. I found myself using the magnet feature a lot and also the pivoting head for light direction - worked great!
The ROVER folds into itself for a small, compact storage profile, easily fitting into your pocket. Additionally there is a carabineer that will allow you to the ability to clip it to a tool bag, belt, organizers or straps.
    Small Size - Big Light
The ROVER is small and fits in one hand, it has a big impact for a small light.
    Length 5.39"
    Width 0.65"
    Weight 0.14 lbs.

That’s a painter’s light. You attach it to the metal mud pan and check the walls while patching the final touch ups.

This would be awesome for a mechanic. They are always looking for small lights that produce a lot of light. Especially something that can be clipped onto stuff or with a magnet or can hold itself up.
I know that I would love to have a light for some of my machines and I think the Bandsaw is one of those that do not offer a lot of lighting options...
Price wise??? 60 bucks isn't going to bankrupt me.

Color rendering of lighting is called CRI (color rendition index)
The higher the CRI, the more accurate the color matches daylight.
The king of high CRI led modules is Nichia with their 219B and C leds.
The battery in this light appears larger than an 18650, (18mm diameter and 65mm in length) so if that’s the case, is Milwaukee using a 20700 (20mm in diameter and 70mm in length) battery for this light? The 9.0 and 12.0 high output batteries are using the 20700 cell inside the battery pack.

The 6.0HD and 12.0HD batteries have 21700 cells, not 20700.

I need this light, but ouch that price! I have the original usb Rover and use it quite a bit, but the magnet on the end is not quite strong enough and you can't aim it. This light solves both of those problems - wish I had waited for this one. I think I'm going to put the old one on a lanyard for walking the dog, and get this for everything else.

Debating between this light or the Milwaukee USB pivoting head flash light / floodlight, for auto mechanic work and camping and fishing.

The price is still to steep. But i will say, for doing any extended amount of work in a crawl, this thing works great in conjunction with a headlamp. It really is bright and just makes crap easier to see, especially in cramped spaces when you can't turn your head at exactly what you need to see. But I don't do that enough to warrant buying one

Great product. But can’t find info on Milwaukee website, only 2114-21. What’s the difference between 2114-20 and 21?

What do you think of it vs Bosch’s FL 12? Both have their pros and cons. Looks like an improvement over the FL12 but a few minor drawbacks ( battery run time in high lumens, spare battery is ideal, USB charging can sometimes be inconvenient in certain scenarios)

cb2000a great price but you have to consider the LED quality, Milwaukee uses high quality LEDs. Battery quality too. Also does it pivot, have a magnet and carabiner?

I bought a Milwaukee shockwave bit set recently and would have to say I'm not all that impressed with both their fitment and durability, although being rated impact tough, it seems my M18 fuel driver is powerful enough to rip them up anyway and another personal issue is in the UK we seem to have mainly Pz2 screws for most applications and yet this kit contained a total of 5 Pz2 bits along with some completely useless flatheads.. So I wondered if you guys already have, or planned to make a impact bit head to head? Small detail but would help avoid wasting money to discover which bits are made from cheese, then there's new diamond tipped bits, is that just marketing w*nk or does it actually work? Are specialist bits like Wiha and Wera worth going after instead of boxes of bits? I love the format and the scientific like strictness you keep to your tests and it always seems free from bias so I feel you guys would make this type of video perfectly and would cover a small yet also quite significant factor, as premium consumables their costs can add up to more than the tool to use them very quickly.
    Thanks for the awesome content!

They can get a drill to charge in 1 hour but only 80% for this thing? Come on. How long does it last until you need a recharge? I can't get past the price. For that, It should charge super fast, and bare minimum have a wall charger.
