    Check out the new M12 TRUEVIEW LED Lantern/Flood Light here -- www.milwaukeetool.com/power-to...
    A couple months ago I got a chance to see these new TRUEVIEW LED lights at the annual Milwaukee product event in person, and was very happy to see that not only do they run on the current M12 & M18 batteries, but they also are extremely durable, have awesome light quality, and extremely long runtimes.
    In this video I will show you both the M12 (2362-20) & the M18 (2363-20) models of the LED Lantern/Flood Lights. The operation & functionality of them both are pretty much the same....but of course, the M18 will have a higher light output & longer runtimes.
    If you work with any sort of wires in a low light situation, that can really pose a problem when the light you are using is causing the colors to change slightly. HVAC techs, Electricians, Mechanics, Voice/Data installers, etc need to be able to ensure they are cutting the correct wires & not just hope for the best. These lights literally replicate the "clean light" of daylight, which will allow you to rest assured that you are working on the correct wires.
    For safety, they even built in a "strobe mode" that will cause the light to flash very quickly (for up to 18 hours with the M18 & 15 hours with the M12), so if you are stuck on a boat with engine problems.....stuck on the side of the road changing a tire.....or stuck in the woods with a broken leg, the Milwaukee Flood Lights will let anyone nearby see you and get help.
    The M12 version (2362-20) has 4 settings :
    Low - 40 lumens
    Medium - 200 lumens
    High - 400 lumens
    Strobe mode - 400 lumens (flashing)
    The M18 version (2363-20) has 4 settings :
    Low - 70 lumens
    Medium - 350 lumens
    High - 700 lumens
    Strobe mode - 700 lumens (flashing)
    Check out the video to see them in action for yourself!

    Watched your review and bought the M12 today. I'm a plumber and used it on a burner repair in a boiler today. It lit up the whole burner cavity nicely on medium output. I know I'll be using this thing all the time. Under the kitchen sinks, crawl spaces, etc.

    I have a ton of milwaukee tools and thought I was up to date on all there m12 and m18 tools.. Not sure how these lights flew under my radar. I have an m18 flashlight but it doesn't cut it when you kill the power and need to work on things as an electrician. Thanks for the review gonna go m18. The more light the better!

    Great review, Sir! I'm sold on that M18 model. Would love to see as in-depth of a review on that Milwaukee Heated Hoodie you're sporting there as well. Have been thinking of picking up two (one for the wife) of them, but i'm a bit gun shy on pulling the trigger at 100 bones apiece. As always, thank you for uploading!

    • @RealToolReviews
      @RealToolReviews  9 років тому

      Robert Johnson Thanks Robert! Yeah, the Heated Hoodie review is coming up very soon (and another one with the Heated Jackets).....I have been using them everyday for about the last two weeks already, and I can tell you that they are AWESOME! I am 6'2" & 170lbs....and I got the Large sizes and they fit snug....if you want something looser, go the next size up. For me though, I wanted it a bit form fitting, so the heat wont escape & I can always wear a light jacket over the hoodie for dual layers & heat underneath. Also, the jacket I have even has heated pockets (the hoodie does not).

    • @RobertJohnson-pb9vr
      @RobertJohnson-pb9vr 9 років тому

      dmcguinn1 Oh, man! I thought I could get away with the cheaper hoodies, but if the jackets have heated pockets and I skip those for the wife, i'll never hear the end of it. Looking forward to the reviews for them, Sir!

    • @RealToolReviews
      @RealToolReviews  9 років тому

      ***** I am not sure what you mean....I am guessing you mean as it is sitting on the counter or hanging, how does the light look underneath? In the video I hang it in the shed at night, I would say that is the best example I can think of.....usually I set the light back from what I want to illuminate, so I have not thought about directly underneath of it.

  • @Titantramp4u

    Another great review....We go out to the desert to camp here in So. Kalifornia and the M12 looks like a great light to do so....The M12 being more compact is appealing.
    I have both systems, so it's a tough choice for me....Thanks!

    • @RealToolReviews
      @RealToolReviews  9 років тому

      Titantramp4u Thanks! Yep, the M12 is definitely more compact, and I am sure if you bring a few batteries along with you, light wont be an issue :) The runtimes on low are unreal....and despite how it looked on the video, it is actually brighter in person....I think they did a great job with these!

      Djthunder PSN They make all the jackets & hoodies in sizes Small - 3X.....I think in-store at Home Depot they usually only have Med, Large, and XL though....just order one online ;) And I LOVE them!!! I have been using the heated hoodie just about every day for the last couple weeks & today I broke out the black heated jacket (with heated pockets!). +Real Tool Reviews do you have any tips for keeping spiders out of a shed like that or garage? It looks like you live in a forested area so I would think you have spiders. I am having no end of spider problems this year. Every day when I go out to my garage or shed every surface is covered in spider webs, hanging from the rafters. I have to spend 10 minutes cleaning webs off every time I go out to work on something. I've tried Bug Barrier and it didn't seem to slow them down.

    • @RealToolReviews
      @RealToolReviews  9 років тому +4

      +doitle Yes.....leave the cap off of a 1 gallon can of gasoline & set it in the floor where it wont accidentally fall over or get knocked over......ZERO bugs/rodents will make nests in there (bees, ants, mice, spiders, etc). The fumes will dissipate extremely quickly once you open the door (air it out for 5 min before you go in & NEVER smoke/use flames or electronics inside!!). I always keep a gas can open in mine & have no issues with any pests. Good luck!

    • @urjnlegend
      @urjnlegend 6 років тому +1

      Natural bug repellants are like lavender and peppermint oil, look it up for your application, mix with water in a sprayer and apply, or just put the oil all around the shed, it'll repel all sorts of stuff, may not work as well as gas as far as longetivity, but it's safer imo
