I hope Sienna continues to find the Turtle top acceptable. I have been using one for about 2 years for my fussy mouth ISH. We selected it during a bit fitting session, certainly was the best of the Neue Schule snaffles for my boy.
I am going to try one for my horse so thanks for this vlog! I say Donkeys years and you say donkeys of years 😂 which is correct 🤷🏻♂️😊 ( who cares made me smile though 🤩)
I got a Neue Schule bit for my lsd, he didn't like it! I've tried multiple bits, and in desperation bought a flexible rubble but, he loves it! Cost me less than a tenner if I remember rightly...
Ah yes Corporals not a huge fan of them but yet Arty and Sienna are. Glad you found a bit that didn’t break the bank and worked. The joys of trying bits to find the one that works, might be the reason I have a collection of bits on my Tackroom wall now. 🙈😂
@@EJMEQUESTRIAN I think I bought 8 bits of various types, none of them were suitable, he's got a thick tongue, a low palate, and narrow bars (which I only realised when I had a good look!!) dunno what put the idea of a flexible rubber bit into my mind, managed to gind one online, and that sorted his issues...until I had yo stop riding, and I've not managed to get back to it again since!
Oh no that was disappointing. Still probably my mares favourite bit. But they are all different, what suits one doesn’t suit another. Hope you found a bit that worked.
I have now bought a turtle top and we have ridden in it and couple of times both in breezy conditions so hoping for calmer weather and proper evaluation. Probably won’t be a game changer but may help us down the dressage road a little 😂

Oh I’m pleased to hear your boy has continued to go well in it. Hopefully Sienna is the same. So far so good. ☺️

I think your right, donkeys years, haha
I’d never noticed I added ‘of’.
Hope the bit works for your horse. 🤞
Ouchers that's an expensive bit! But as we equestrian well know ... If it makes the horse happy we buy it and go hungry for a week 🤣
Exactly! 😂 I don’t need food 🙈😆

Made my daughter’s horse more fussy and chewing on the bit.

Sorry it’s not a game changer for your horse. They do re sell on eBay well if you need to!
We have ridden with the bit several times now and it is having a good impact on our canter 😊fingers crossed going forward 🎉
