I'm impressed with how accepting he was to you brushing his mane. I enjoyed watching this video and looking forward to watching the rest of the process with him.
I've been watching the first training sessions with Nodin, Elyse Wallace's Mustang, and Moose is so much less reactive than Nodin to human touch. He seemed to get to the point of tolerating, then understanding there was no harm, much faster. I was amazed he didn't bolt when you sprayed the de-tangler, I think Nodin and some of the other Mustangs I've seen would have been in the next county, while Mosse seems to wait and see and show some real curiosity. I like curious horses, it often means intelligence. That with lower reactivity , it seems like a good, fun combo to work with. It'll be fun to watch the progress of all the Mustangs I follow, Moose included.
Such a lovely horse with what seems like a very nice temperament! So much fun to watch from day one to finish! Great progress with the head bobbing in a very short time. Looking forward to the next session.
I would have never expected how much he likes you to pamper him already. He is so beautiful and he looks like a real allrounder, just as you said. Because of his built and spanish features I would love to see him ridden english or baroque style ♥
It's like he's treating your hand and touch as if it were a horsefly trying to land on his head. So happy to see his progress. He really is a nice Mustang.
Great video! There is so much to gaining a horses trust. Glad you put out this kind of information. Not all training is accomplished through riding. There is so much more to it!! I, too, think Moose could be shown English or Western. He is put together a ok!!
It's funny because my gelding Ace does alot of head bobbing and ears pinning and even wanting to square up that we are working on currently. He's pretty gentle but I think he devolped these habits with previous handlers. Smart and sweet though. I would LOVE to see Moose started under saddle. Specifically what happens after the first ride, like first time out of a small space, or in new environments, trails, ect.
English... you've got a big one and it's not often we can see these bigger build mustangs and depending on his legs and foot issues, possibly a solid jumper! Everyone here in the UAE likes these chunkier bigger types for dressage, flatwork and jumping (including cross country). And even if there s a bit of a hoof issue, his neck and build over a dressage course could be lovely. and I'm not a super dressage'y type of rider but could be fun for him.
He will make Twin Peaks proud,, such good minded horses. 🤗🤗
He seems like he’s got a good mind. I enjoy watching the work you are doing to get these horses out of holding and in to loving homes. Great job!
Very Nice Mustang, good shape, Very strong horse, 😮
I thought this was great. I enjoy any of it and I like him.
I smiled so big when I saw that back leg relax while you were brushing!
I loved seeing this video and how relaxed he seemed to be with you petting and brushing him. I’m open to seeing any and all trainings with Moose. ❤
I just love this horse. It's so sweet how he nearly puts his head in your lap. There's something about him that's different and special.
❤English ❤
Thanks for sharing! As time consuming and work it is to film I personally would love to see the 'whole process' of training him.

Beautiful.
He looks a super horse to me. Love the way he has so quickly trusted you and allowed you to do what you can around his face and neck. Well done!

Pretty soon you're going to have a horse that comes galloping to you across the pasture for pets if you put your hand straight up in the air! 😂
Is he 17 hands? Looks like he will end up loving you..his trust is coming on fast.
@@slonefactor he’s about 15.1-3! I am 5’3 for reference
@@CamillesMustangs I thought you were 5'10"
I wonder if he's got headshakers syndrome
