LOL Sometimes you have to think about it and scratch your head what you have in your possession. I have the same problem, so I started to keep a journal with a description of every fire arm I own so I wont forget. Nice collection!
Sad part is once you get them out you know you have to make yourself put them back. Great collection. Sometimes I just get the 17-2 & model 14 out just to listen & feel the action whether I get to shoot them or not. Quality firearms.
Nice revolvers! My old friend and mentor had very similar tastes and I am proud to have inherited his collection and the knowledge and stories and good times that came with it. Great memories and old guns go together.
Awesome 😎 Revolver are King , Simi Automatics are fine but a revolver has always been King 👑 to me , because I have never known of one jamming, at least not that I know of 🦉
I used to have a S&W in 32 long I want to say it was made in 1903 and the rear sight acted as the cylinder stop/bolt, it was really neat, but I ended up trading it for something else neat I had to have at the time, lol, uno how it is, thanks for sharing your collection with us.
Enjoyed your video, looking forward to the new purchase. I have a couple 1905 4th change 1926 mint unfired and one 1902 mfg in 1902 but it has been reblued and target stocks but still nice for what I paid.
Oh this was so nice to watch! The Bill Davis Model 10 looks like it has a bent firing pin but maybe that was just the geometry. Maybe you've done a similar video on some of your S&W auto's--if not put it on your to-do list :-) I only now own one revolver and its a S&W 629 from the mid 2000's and it has the most-beautiful trigger of any handgun I've ever owned. The first centerfire pistol I shot was a model 39 (40-ish years ago) and I always remembered how nice it felt in the hand. The deep checkering wood grips, natural point of aim... And when I retired I decided I should own one...and now I'm deep into 39's and 59's. I hope you own both.
I bought a model 10 4 i nch barrel back in the mid 90's used. then stopped shooting/collecting, sold most but kept 3 including that one! now I'm back enjoying it again and am thinking about adding a 586. just so many models and it's confusing LOL! love your collection!
Impressive collection Thanks for sharing. I have 4 older Smith and Wesson revolvers and 4 Newer 3 different 686 plus and 1J frame production revolvers. I like them almost as much as my 2 very nice 4 inch 28-2 and 586 no dash 4in barrel and 586 dash1 6 inch barrel.
I carry a Smith #36 3" chiefs special daily. It shoots lead well and a sweet little pistol. i worked the trigger over and it's my favorite conceal carry. I also have a 65-5 from my Dad and a 586 Distinguished Combat. all fine pistols.
@@WalnutandSteel Lead one to believe it was special order. This one had muzzle & front sight flaking but , timing was good & so was its butter smooth trigger.
Can you shoot standard factory loads through the Bill Davis or do you need to do reloaded ammo due to the light trigger? Because 8 ounces sounds pretty incredible
wow , mister nibs you are willy a gun freak !!! in myn country you can onley have on licene but not in home you must live it in the safe from the club waer you are member.also the amo you must give back for the club safe in home you can not have dis !!!!
Sadly S&W doesn't make them the way they used to, and it's not just nostalgia it's a fact. My new 686 is obviously lacking when set side to side with a 1980s vintage. It's not just the materials or the Hillary hole, they have gotten sloppy and have lost pride in craftmanship it seems. Have you seen the ones that come out with a canted front sight?? Seriously WTF
+1 sub. I'm a S&W revolvers collector 21 so far the only difference is that I only buy S&W revolvers made before 1999. Sir if I'm not mistaken the k22 masterpiece, k32 masterpiece and the k38 masterpiece where made in 49 not in 48 i own the k32 and the K38 the K22 so far i can't find in my country. Side note I'm not saying that after 1999 they are bad guns no sir. S&W to me is one of the most reliable guns in the market, and I love S&W, but only revolvers I don't care about semiautomatic handguns, but I own 4 a Sig P226, Glock 17 1° gen, Walter P99 and the most recent a Canik. But besides the Canik the othe 3 are 25 to 30 years old and they were all gifts!
Amazing collection! Beautiful.
Beautiful collection 😊 God bless!
Nice, I still need to buy more S&W guns.
Currently, I have 2 Model 19-3, a Model 10-8 and a Model 39-2.
Beautiful collection. Those k22 are true to name, master pieces!
OMG that Bill Davis is AWSOME! They All are ,Thank You for Sharing walnut and Steel!

A man after my own heart, I'm a huge S&W fan. Extremely impressive collection Nibs
Nice pieces!! Smiths are fine revolvers...especially the older ones...made by craftsman who took pride in what they made.
You have a very nice collection of classic S&W wheel guns. Thanks for sharing.
Nice revolvers! My old friend and mentor had very similar tastes and I am proud to have inherited his collection and the knowledge and stories and good times that came with it. Great memories and old guns go together.
Nice to see you are still making videos! I love this video! It isn't my first time watching either.. keep it up!!
J frames are my favorite. Beautiful chiefs special 🇺🇸
One of my favorite videos

Absolutely amazing s&w revolver collection..looking forward to seeing some more of your collections
Thanks check on my mossberg collection videos and also “geeking out to vintage scopes”
Just traded my 1910 38sw for a new hellcat springfield... I'm already regretting it
You have collected some very nice guns.
Thanks
The 44mag and the precision pistol is my favorite
Mornin Nibbs! Very nice collection!!
Yes here too my knee isnt liking this!!!
I do exactly the same!!!
That model 10 is impressive

Does your 586 have blued steel and a full lug? Those are some handsome pistols. 😊
...nice collection...
...I have three...
...a Model 29-3...a Model 36...and a 1905 M&P with 6 inch barrel and target sights from 1925...
If your only gonna have a few those are good choices! Thanks for watching!
now that a nice collection.......................
Beautiful collection. True works of art.
Great video, great collection. I really enjoyed watching. 👍
You need a model 27 in there. Nice collection there.
Beautiful part of history it would be fun if you said I found this one at a gun show or where ever .
Pretty Impressive Collection, Nibs. 👍
Very Nice Collection!
Nice collection man, my favorite revolver of all time is the S&W 686-3 with a 4" barrel, when I think of 357 magnum, the 686 is what comes to my mind
That is a sweet one for sure!
Had a 5" nickle Mod 10 in 32/20 in good shape before the Cowboy craze & it got traded for lack of Ammo. Have yet to hear or seen another one like it .
I didn’t know they made the model 10 in anything but 38 special.
@@WalnutandSteel Lead one to believe it was special order. This one had muzzle & front sight flaking but , timing was good & so was its butter smooth trigger.
You got me beat by about 95% lol hahaha yeah man good job
You found my weak spot!
Nice
Nice collection. Get some oil on those beauties.

I have shot standard commercial ammo in it with out an issue. Definitely wasn’t as accurate as my hand loads but they all went bang.
I always thought the model 25 was 45LC hmm learn something new everyday
I don’t have a model 25 yet
Nibs do u buy these in rough condition, i got 2 in fair condition and i was told refinishing lowers their value?
If they are not in great shape already they probably aren’t worth a ton already. I have bought a few like that cheap mostly to practice refinishing.
Had all of those at one time , use to reload .. they all got too loud my for ears even with ear muffs on .
I use 32db ear plugs AND ear muffs... 😉👍
Works very well unless you're shooting with chatty Cathy. 🤨
@@marcmyers1465 been there done that glad you use them 👍🏻

Thanks for joining! I am certainly not an authority on smiths but I did find a serial number list on line and it says mine was made in 48
