It's actually Daron Malakian The guy with the long hair singing the high notes in "Everybody's going to the party have a real good time" He doesn't get enough credit for his awesome voice haha
And basically most of the screaming parts . Darons got a massive vocal range. Same as Serj . They do both soothing and scream but Daron does do both most of the time . Mostly screaming. Just love the talent. Along the fact he's a killer guitarist and produced and written most of the crazy shit . You just can't get a better resume of talent in one person . ( He's my favourite member in the band . Love his craziness 😁 lol ) As a band with all they do , Serj, Daron , Shavo , and John, that's what makes SOAD one of a kind . All pure talent . I cannot find another band like them

i remember taping this off my local radio station broadcast
the reason for the name and burnt cd look was becauseunused tracks from the toxicity album were leaked on napster and everyone thought it was a new album, but they were unfinished versions of what would end up on steal this, so they went with the burnt cd look as a nod to that

I really love your SOAD reactions.. Since you are a Serj fan (who isn't? To be fair..LOL), I would defenitely check out his solo work in 'Elect The Dead Symphony'.. You get a very good view of the man's vocal reach, and it's absolutely out of this world!
I saw them headline an outdoor show in NC after they released Hypnotize and Mesmerize...the crowd started two large fires. Epic show.
Their first album is my favorite, but Hypnotize is great.

Their self titled album “System of a Down” is easily my favorite. I’m not gonna pretend it’s their best, but they do a lot of weird experimental shit in that album and I love it for all its flaws.

Sh*t ya not. I went to a metal concert in Grand Rapids M.I. last year. Completely different bands. Between sets someone flipped this song on and the whole building was singing this and rocking out harder then anyone other band the whole night.

Forest, Question, Lost In Hollywood, Deer Dance, and Prison Song are all amazing songs by System Of A Down. Please check them out and keep up the great reactions. You don't feel like you over hype or fake your reactions like so many other reactors and I really enjoy it.
I forgot to mention that they came out with 2 new songs last week called Genocidal Humanoidz and Protect the Land to spread awareness of the genocidal acts being inflicted on their home land of Armenia by the Turkey and Azerbaijan. All the bands proceeds are donated to the cause.
So good to see other people say Question! Is in their top 5. Easily my favorite SOAD song and I don’t hear that enough. Great list you have. I have to add Radio/Video and you’re set for life with those six songs

Unpopular opinion: Hypnotize is my favorite album. Top 5 song’s probably Question!, Revenga, Tentative, Mind and Soil. War is up there too. Been here since 5k, Rock on 🤘 brother!

Check out System of a Down "Prison Song" its basically them calling out what is going on in America twenty years ago. And one the craziest concerts i ever went to was Pledge Of Allegiance Tour with Slipknot and SOAD headlining

Man, if you want a insane and great live performance, try Cult of Luna & Julie Christmas - The Wreck of S.S. Needle. The right version to watch is from the video Cult of Luna & Julie Christmas - Mariner Live @ De Kreun, with the timecode 17,25.
Julie Christmas is, IMO, the best female vocalist nowadays in "extreme" music. Yes, I prefer her 5x more than Tatiana from Jinjer. She gives everything live. She's both the porcelain and the one who breaks it, I don't even know how to describe it. Pure catharsis.
And she's terrifying as hell too sometimes, even more in her previous band Battle of Mice (for exemple the song "Bones in the water", in which she says "I have a present for you, it's made from pieces of my skin" :D ).
