    It's amazing the stuff I end up watching on youtube. For some reason I can watch you make soap all day. Soothing videos.

    I am just getting started on the research for handmade everything. Starting a homestead or sorts I guess, no need to go into detail here. But soap making is on my list of things to make. So I have been watching many videos on it. Yours are some of the best ones out there.

    • @ArianeArsenault

      I wouldn't add fresh goats milk in MP, but I have used powder forms many time. I premix it in oil prior to blending with the MP

    • @phyllism7645

      Ariane Arsenault I was thinking of using melt and pour that was already made with goats milk and then adding sea salt to that, would that still work? I am new, but I only make it for myself, not to sell or anything.

      @ArianeArsenault  9 років тому +1

      Phyllis M Yes, you can buy goats milk based melt & pour. It usually contains very low amounts of goats milk and that is why I also add some powdered goats milk to it! :-)

    Ariane I am new to soaping and have watched soooo many videos. Yours are by far so outstanding! In most of the videos I've seen after the soapers get done with the soap making I am wondering what they do next. Do they cover in towels like some suggests or do you just leave it sit? This is always information that I am left wanting. The cp soaps I have made I have wrapped in towels for 24 hours. Is this necessary? Its the missing information that I can't seem to find.

    Ariane, thanks for all that you share, I wanted to know... many suppliers have additives already included in their M&P base such as goats milk, honey, Aloe Vera or specifically included oils, but I see you always add them at the end. Obviously you have more variety this way but what is the benefit and result of adding them to a melted base, rather than during the base production itself? The specialty bases are always more expensive too but it's not much that's added the way you do it, it seems likely to be more economical, unless, could different oils greatly change the M&P bars behavior and properties as well when produced with them already added?
