- In this video, I show you how I made my "Amethyst" melt and pour soap. Shiny, shimmery, and gemstone-y. :-)
Where to find some of the items I used-
Amethyst Fragrance Oil- www.brambleber...
Queen's Purple Mica- www.brambleber...
Fine Silver Rainbow EcoGlitter (holographic, NOT iridescent as I mistakenly said)- www.brambleber...
Gemstone Mold- www.brambleber...
12-Bar Square Silicone Mold- www.brambleber...
Round Silicone Mold- I can not remember exactly where I got it from. However, a Google search of "Oval Silicone Mold" or "Domed Oval Silicone Mold" brought it up on eBay and Etsy.

The Amethyst fragrance oil, gemstone mold, and Fine Silver Rainbow EcoGlitter was given to me by Bramble Berry to try out. Spicy Pinecone, LLC is not affiliated with Bramble Berry. I was not asked to make a video, all opinions expressed in this video are strictly my own.

Sarah Milroy of
I’m s
Def! She waited too long to pour the 2nd and 3rd colors. Bit I do like the white border it gave! 💯😍😍
This is truly my best soap thus far as a newbie. It comes out crazy gorgeous and has a beautiful lather
Wow that lavender color looks beautiful combination of the white thing that looks really nice thanks for sharing
My favorite color! They turned out so pretty!
Beautiful soap pieces
Hello from Canada. Beautiful video. Love how the whole thing looks easy for melt and pour. I have tried makking them but must admit you have to be confident of how to fix it if problrms occur. Also with MNP i find you have to be real swift. the fancier the soap you make the longer time you need to set aise esp for newbies I am saying this from experience. You make it look so easy . You have been doing it for long and it shows. NO SHAKY FINGERS / NO SWEARINGS / NO HUUIN AND PUFFIN. Can tell an expert from an amateur.I think i am gng to be lower than amateur level for a long long time. You are good. thks Sarah
Lovely results.... purple is always a winner!
They turned out amazing. You did a beautiful job
New here ty for sharing. Purple is my favorite color
Hi Sarah! I love your videos. I've been doing this awhile, and I always learn something. Beautiful soap..! Thank you for sharing :)
Thank you so much, Lydia! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video!
Approximately what temp is your base soap, 2nd soap and 3rd when you add them. I struggle with swirling in MP.
Love the video! I am thinking about trying to do some melt and pour soaps myself, but tonight, as I was sitting here watching your video and then I was like "wait, did youtube change me to watching a 5-minute craft video?" when the music started as that's the same one from the 5-minute craft videos!
Turned out great. Thanks for sharing.
Good
Beautiful, royal looking!
Thank you so much!
Love the squares
Thanks for sharing
Very nice work
With lavender essential oil will be more than perfect
Hi lovely work. What fragrance did you use pls.
They look really beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
thank you for the tip about heating and lumps. I was definitely messing up before this video
Could you please turn on the automatic captive for your videos? I have a heading disability and watching your videos is really difficult at times because i can't hear everything well. It's an option the basket of the video can turn on or off and you apparently turned it off. Thanks in advance!
I have a clear base and have leftover handmade soaps, some honey pieces, some goat's milk half bar, and a few pieces of strawberry that's a layered type.
Can it add these to my base?
Bravos... magnificent and beautiful, thanks for sharing. You are talented
Hi! These are gorgeous!! Nice tutorial.
YAY!!! You're back!!!
Lol! Kids are back in school and things are settling down around the farm. Finally have time to make videos again! Woo! :-D
So I made my own soap this past weekend and they turned out beautiful but the natural smell of the soap is more over powering than the fragrance oil. Is there a way to smell more of the fragrance oil then the soap smell? Sure Maybe change soaps? I used honey soap and shea butter soap.
Beautiful. But im new so may I ask how much of things are you useing
Beautiful! Great work!
These look great - u do not give any measurements is this b/c you sell them on your own & don't want to give away the secret?? This is my first time viewing yr video(s) so am not familiar with them - would love to try them, any chance we can get the measurements you used. Many tks. I really love the look of the square ones & the gemstones - beauties!
Agree, I really can’t find any information about the temperature of melted soap she poured . 🙁
Where do u mix glitter and purple color? What is it? water ?
I bet they smell great!!
Oh my goodness, the fragrance is incredible! I wanted to try out one of the non-discoloring fragrances from Bramble Berry's "Gemstone Collection", and this was my FAVORITE. :-D
Sarah Milroy thanks for letting me know. I just added it to my cart!
So pretty
Super 👌
Can we use this soap on face?
They look so pretty
Thank you so much, Carmen! 😀
Ms Sarah, I'm trying to get a light gold "swirl" a clowdy effect in a Black! soap..........and using mp...........wonderin if the gold mica always floats to the top or drops to the bottom????
I use a shea butter base and it seems to harden fast, why is that? Your soap came out beautiful
Alycia E. You can reheat it for 15-30 seconds if its getting to hard to work with during your process
Do you have exact measurements that you use for the soap base and mica??
Can you tell me the measurements for each M&P?
How did you make the white melt & pour?
Beautiful
I would love to do this.. it's perfect I wanted to make party favors for my birthday this year .. just because haha and this would be perfect omg
mw25893 I
Mix your Mica and Oxides with hot water rather than rubbing alcohol as they will dissolve in the water and not sit at the bottom of the container like they do with rubbing alcohol which then still leaves specks in the soap.
WhichoftheFavours ofyourLordwillyouDeny you can’t add water to m&p
Krissyb810 Why not? The melt and pour base has water in it. It does not effect the consistency of the finished soap. I make soap too and figured this was the best method for adding a Mica or Oxide.
How much water should we use?
Mary Sims No more than 1 tablespoon. As you add the hot water to the mica or oxide, you will see it dissolve instantly, therefore only a small amount is needed, swirl it around in the container or mix it using a toothpick or spoon and add to the soap straight away.
Thank you.
Thanks for sharing.
so lovely!
How do you know how much soap you have to melt?
this might sound dumb lol but is this actual antibacterial soap:)??
Won't the glitter ruins the soap when it is used?
I love these......
Why do you put rubbing alcohol in the mica sorry I’m just starting at soapmaking and I’m trying to get as many tips as possible
You can use 1 tbsp of water instead of alcohol, that will do well too. It is used to solve the mica
Miss your videos! Happy to you back.
Awww! Thank you! Super happy to be filming again. :-D
Where did you get that gem tray
Absolutely beautiful , thanks for sharing :)
What brand of clear melt and pour do u use?
Love it !!
Thank you, Becky! I'm so glad you like it! :-D
HOLLO Christine
holo glitter!
How much do you sell them per bar?
Would’ve been great to actually see while you mixed the powder in
You’re gorgeous !
So, can you use this soap immediately or do you have to let it cure? I always get confused if you do or not LOL
When it's melt and pour you can use it immediately. :) Any soap that consists of oils mixed with lye water needs to cure before it's used though.
Perfectdoll
Okay! Thank you! 🙂
I’m glad you already asked because I always wanted to know that as well 😊
Which spray you use after every pour

Boy am i tired of hearing that same music on every other soap making video. ...lets get creative with the music choices as well as the soap...otherwise Great Job !
Laura Mendoza lol
Unfortunately, UA-cam is extremely limited in what they offer for royalty free music.
😂
I hear ya! , but I am tired of hearing any music at all, in the videos,, just want the info.. sometimes its too loud. One video the music was soo irritating, every comment was about how awful the music was!! That was funny!
So pretty
