My daughter absolutely LOVED this! She immediately went to the kitchen to assemble the ingredients to make her own. Your sisters are adorable, my daughter would love to see more videos with them!

This was great, and you are wonderful with your sisters. Penny has the sweetest smile, and Emmy's enthusiasm at the end was brilliant. It's be great to see more melt and pour videos, both with your sisters and your own designs!
this is a really great video. melt and pour soaps seem really straightforward and end up making just a beautiful product. those soaps look simply gorgeous and your sisters seemed to have a good time creating them. it makes me want to make some fancy soaps myself.
Yes! More kid friendly tutorials! I think it is super important for kids to have hands-on activities, especially in this day and age where everything is digital.
My kids love melt and pour, they can't wait to be able to do the more advanced stuff. My son especially likes watching your soap making videos, he'll be happy to see you have one he can do.
Absolutely love how you included your sisters in this safe and easy soap tutorial. I’m making melt and pour with my grandkids on vacation and know it will be just as exciting as it was for you and your siblings. Kudos to you and all you do
So sweet! We didn't have much money for Christmas presents and my kids made Sugar and coconut oil hand scrubs for their uncle, aunt and grandpa... They're older but felt pretty accomplished with their gifts... I love that we were able to use kitchen products we already have with the essential oils on hand too. Great video, I will have to keep some soap base on hand so we can do this when ever there is a need for a gift down the line. ❤
Can't wait to make this. I love your CP soaps but a little intimidated by all the ingredients and science behind it.. PS. Emmy is definitely your twin. Cute girls.
OMG Katie, Ur sisters are awesome little people, and I know I'm not the first to say, they are B E A U T I F U L!!! And u couldn't deny them if you wanted to as ur sisters they both look like you and your Momma. Thank you for sharing such a awesome video. Enjoy all that family time you can get. Love to you all!!🌸
Your sisters are adorable! :D Loved this video, my kids love sitting and watching "Katie the royal soap lady" videos with me so I cant wait to show them this video in the morning! This video was recommended to me by UA-cam and I love it! I've watched a ton of your videos now but I came back to this one again because this seems like such a nice thing I could make to give as Christmas gifts this year. Absolutely beautiful!
I've been watching your videos for a few months now and I absolutely LOVE your enthusiasm! It gives me so much motivation. And this video has inspired me to let my daughter to add some soap to her line
This was my first M&P project! Though, I didn't do layers, I had individual bars moulds, and I added gold mica... Not all entirely intentional... But it was so fun!!! Thank you so much for your videos!
We loved watching this! More 'kid friendly' videos would be great, our 3 year old has now started requesting that he watch 'makin soap' with me - although he loves to watch all of your videos - he really enjoyed this one with the littles!
My eight-year-old daughter and I just discovered your channel yesterday and we can't stop watching! She hasn't seen this one yet ;) so I am going to surprise her with a soapmaking session like this one. I know she will be *so* excited!!
Don't know why I felt compelled to look this up, this was the first video I watched before I forgot about soap making, and the. Subbed several years later .... Good to see how genuinely sweet you are is authentic, cause you have not changed that a bit!
I loved your MP tutorial & definitely would love to see more. Especially interesting MP designs & techniques. What an awesome big sister you are (and will surely be just as fun with your own Littles.) I just recently got back into soaping (after having dabbled in it about 20 years ago)- and am having so much fun. My kids are teens now, and are loving the process, but I do wish I had done some when they were younger. (So many crafts/so little time. Lol 😊) Oh- I homeschool my son & was stoked to hear were homeschooled yourself. Props to the Queen for doing an awesome job & to you for being such an inspiration. Soap on 💃✊️
Ps. I see lots of us enjoyed the kids, and would love to see them again. (Yes, Emmy totally looks like you!) But I would like to add that I would like to see your own MP designs/techniques just as much (if not more!). You do such wonderful things with your CP soaps & I think it would be great to see some of your ideas for working with MP. They are both such great mediums to work with; and each have different ways to execute the designs. So would love to see some 'Katie' inspired MP Soaps. 😊
Not a kid, don't have kids, and absolutely loved this video. It was perfect. simple, easy, straight forward, just what I'm looking for when I jump on you tube for tutorials.
Do you ever make straight layered soap in different colors? Like a layer of blue soap, let it sit until somewhat solid, layer of red, repeat, white. You get the idea.
You are so fun to watch. I usually skip through all the parts that I know to see the end result but either your videos, I cant seem to do it. You captivate me. Thanks for being interesting!
This was such an easy, user friendly, kid friendly soap craft 🤩👏🏻 it looked like it was so much fun to do and the soap bars looked great. Thanks for the tips as well.

Oh my goodness, your so great with them. I have a controlling issue but you we're so patient and you explained everything to them. Such a fun craft to do with your family.
The layers separated when we cut the slices :( Is this because we let the one layer completely harden before pouring the next. We made sure to spritz with rubbing alcohol. Advice appreciated before we try again. THANKS!
Mag Da you may have let ot set for too long. You could always try scratching the surface of each layer after letting it dry completely so that the next layer has something to adhere too
ok so i'm wanting to do this but with different scents and what not. does the "citrus melt and pour" smell like citrus and can I choose to go with a different melt and pour? if so, will it affect the look much? sorry for all the questions!! I'm just starting with all of this so i have no idea what i'm doing
Is using a ceramic knife easier for cutting the soap? I also wonder if it would be better for cutting cold process soaps I can't afford a soap cut so just was wanting to see what you think
Some melt and pour bases harden up too much for a typical cheese cutter and could bend or break your metal strings. That is why Dean Wilson always scores his soaps like Katie did and then cuts with a large knife. I find that it cuts easier if you spray your knife with alcohol every few bars...
Wen Pow I have used both and not had an issue. But that is me. Miter boxes also helped with straight line cuts. I use cheese cutter it always for hot and cold process soap. Good point be care and choose what works for you. Trial and error ..
Yeah I have been looking for a cheese cutter but I can't find them now I want it. I live in Australia so it's a bit harder to find some stuff for soapmaking. Thank you everyone who answered me 🙂
they are adorable and YES more tutorials! especially ones for beginners, or all the different styles of soap making! this is becoming something I am very interested in!
I know this is a three year old comment, but in case anyone is curious calendula holds its color really well in soap, even cold process! Most botanicals will go brown in cp, even just sitting on top. Some are okay in melt and pour, but most go brown even in melt and pour soap.

I'm glad you made a video with premade soap. Lye freaks me out, but I love the idea of making soap.
Lye is not scary at all. As long as you take all the appropriate safety measures, lye should be something you’re scared of.
