Great story, i remember growing up how many Saturday nights we spent at the local skating rink.
Brought my daughter there many times. To parties and just to skate on the weekends. Wonderful place to have fun. 2:12
I used to skate 2-3 a week there in the summer while visiting my Grandparents. Some of my greatest memories were had there while skating around listening to disco 🙂

Forty eight years ago two girls thought it would be funny to trip me while I was skating. I dislocated and broke my wrist. I still have a tumor on my wrist. I haven't been skating since. 💜
It’s a shame all the great things that people remember back in their heydays drive-in, movie theater drive-in, restaurant, bowling alley and skating rinks a-last have faded away when I was a kid, I remember the bowling alley and the skating rink but not the driving movie theaters it’s a shame what our society has come to
