- Just adding a bit crusher doesn't sound like old lo-fi drum samples, so in this video I show a different way to get there.

In fl studio we can change the bit rate and sample rate in edison and slicex I do 16bit 10000hz
What are your thoughts on Decimort 2? It has a bunch of presets that are supposed to mimic specific old sampler models.
pat2rome I have it. It’s interesting but I always end up using it for the pre-amp distortion and bit reduction and nothing else. I don’t use it for sample rate reduction
Does the frequency of the roll-off depend on Ableton’s sample rate setting?
This was a long while ago now, but I think I remember experimenting with that and the answer was yes it does.
