It never ceases to amaze me how you can take something that looks so tacky like some dollar store toys and make them look 100 times better with a good paint job.
Dollar store wrestling figures? Pill bottle caps? Cheap craft paint? Did we just become best friends? I really like the way you added accessories - simple and looks great. I modified the Rock mini to a goliath (5th ed race). cut a slash in the crotch and used hot water to make his stance fit on a smaller base.
I think we did just become besties! Great minds think alike. I love going to the dollar store. They always have great stuff. Even if it's just the readi board. Sheets and sheets and sheets of readi board. 😁👍
I just found Storm Giants, Frost Giants, Fire Giants. I have walked past these guys so many times thinking there has to be something I can do to them. Digging your channel man. Keep it up.
Super cool, makes me want to hit up the dollar store. I recently got a big bag of random Warhammer bits from 40k and AOS, that stuff would work well with this.
Seeing as the Rock is such a big DnD fan, I think he would really appreciate you using his figurine for a terrain set. Loving the videos! Keep them coming!
I’m always checking out the dollar stores around me, the wrestler figures are great, there’s a really cool one of the Undertaker, his long coat and fedora hat are just perfect for either a Post Apocalyptic wanderer type or Steampunk Wild West character. Grabbed a bunch of the Barbie figures too, working on one of the ballerina poses, cut away the tutu, a couple of long blades and she’s the perfect assassin.
I found a couple of these in the dollar store once. Not much of a stretch, made an undead cowboy using Dollar general skeletons and an undertaker. Took about an hour for a quick side project while something dried
This was wonderful! Please keep up the amazing creativity and demonstrations of how you use your results in game. Love the "Champions hall" with the evil knight take over. A little atmosphere goes a long way! I subbed last year but then got so distracted by other creators and endeavors, but now I'm back to enjoy your playlist of videos!
Turned that Rock figure along with Aquaman into statues a couple years ago. Didn't do as much to them as you did, wish I had now, might need to revisit them myself.
I've seen these wrestling figures at my local dollar stores for months. Recently bought one for this very purpose. Might check to see if they've got some left. With the Rock figure, one could try taking a cheap dollar store lion toy, cut its face off, and attach the face onto the Rock's shoulder like an ornate shoulder pad.
Can't wait to see what you do with the other 2 wrestlers you have left to transform into statues. Whether that statue being Sone or iron. or copper or silver statues,, remains to be seen.
Took the Dollar Tree Superman. Gave him a high collar for his cape and a skull in his open hand. Used a cheap wolf toy and some greenstuff fur for a wolf-pelt shoulder ruff. Instant Vampire Prince.
Just found the channel, loved this video. I like the washer in the cap idea. I cut the magnets out of the dollar store shower curtain before I throw it out.
i still have these cool early-mid 2000s dollarama action figures, now i want to do something with them: i got a barbarian, a man in ornate armor with three cobra heads and i have no idea what the other is but he's a fantasy sci fi cross... also got a few weapons: flail axe and sword
WOW!!! Excellent job. This reminds me of art class in high school (a few decades ago), the teacher had us pick a photo from a magazine, and then draw something else, something different from that photo. I choose a basketball photo from sports illustrated where one player was dunking on another, turned them into knights fighting each other, one cutting down the other, got a B. I may give this a try myself, I'll hit the dollar store on Monday while running errands.
You did better than a good job! These make me think of a hall of champions with statues lining the walls. From the thumbnail I figured you used epoxy clay but chip board is so much more accessible and easier for beginners to work with. I kept thinking of little details you could add like a belt to hold the loincloth or a long cape with shoulder clasps and a little chain around the neck. I love it! I'm so incredibly inspired, thank you.
I just found your channel through the Final Faction videos (I want to make a spider doll now XD) and I absolutely love this, and I love the dollar store! Fun fact inspired by you picking both Roman Reigns and The Rock at the same time, they're actually relatives! The family's been in the wrestling business for a few generations.
This is awesome man! I've just started stripping back the details on an action figure to add my own sculpt to it. Going to recreate my character's armour on a game I play haha looks like so much fun repurposing toys! Great work, really inspiring :)
Anyone else think of Bob Ross the painter dude who talked as if he was actually in the painting. This guy to me has the same passion for his hobby and I hope he does well in his channel.
This is such a cool idea. Turning those pretty useless figures into something really cool. I've always been impressed with what a homogeneous pallet, highlights and shadow, can achieve
I saw these as separates at dollar store on Monday and held back on buying till I watched your video. For sure using them for craft and terrain material.
I was inspired from your videos to make my own dollar store creations but I haven’t been able to find anything like these. But I did however find a Rhino that I turned into a “Battle Rhino” with armour and such :D still finishing up but I think it looks awesome
Absolutely love this idea. I grabbed a few cheap dinosaur toys not too long ago to 1) Practice painting large lizards and 2) see how well I could refurbish a cheap toy. This has got me interesting in trying something more bold. Looking forward to the next video!
these are absolutely fantastic!!!!!! subscribed. have you considered using a pin vice (small hand held drill) to make holes in feet and base to enable you to add a paper clip pin to help hold miniatures to their base? They're fairly inexpensive on Amazon or in hardware/diy shops.
While the colors are great, I kind of think the plastic of the figures was to smooth for stone. They look like they'd work better with a bronze or similar paint for them. Might have also been a good idea to put some work into the boots and parts of the pants...the boots on both of them look very modern
I’d actually like to see what you do with the Finn Bálor figure, as his name is based on Irish mythology (Fionn mac Cumhaill/Finn McCool/Finn MacCool and Balor/Balar) and although he hasn’t used it for a while, used his “Demon King” persona.
Excellent video, but you know you could have easily just kept the figurines attached to their original bases the whole time you were painting and dressing them up, right?
I continue to work on my video editing and the overall flow and length of videos. I haven't perfected it yet but I'm always trying to improve. Thanks for watching.
They remind me of the statues in the background of Mortal Kombat
Oh man, totally.
Thats what Ivthought to friend it was wrestlers
Awsom its livr u give talent with art
How'd you make that statue?
Out of a Rock.
best. comment. ever.
And sculped out of a Stone......
Cold Steve Austin lol
It never ceases to amaze me how you can take something that looks so tacky like some dollar store toys and make them look 100 times better with a good paint job.
These look infinitely better than those overly expensive miniatures I see on our local hobby store.
You could make a complete chess set with enough figurines

Was the slash to help adjust the stance?
I just found Storm Giants, Frost Giants, Fire Giants. I have walked past these guys so many times thinking there has to be something I can do to them. Digging your channel man. Keep it up.
Love to see what you come up with. When you're ready, share pics of your work with me on Instagram.
I like the giant idea
Super cool, makes me want to hit up the dollar store. I recently got a big bag of random Warhammer bits from 40k and AOS, that stuff would work well with this.
There's so much great stuff at the dollar store.
Seeing as the Rock is such a big DnD fan, I think he would really appreciate you using his figurine for a terrain set. Loving the videos! Keep them coming!
Will do. Thank you.

I have that Barbie too. She's going to make a great Kung fu master.

He sounds like Mr. Rogers lol this is so wholesome

Welcome back 😊
The Rock turned to Stone, now he is truly a rock.
Turned that Rock figure along with Aquaman into statues a couple years ago. Didn't do as much to them as you did, wish I had now, might need to revisit them myself.
These would also look good with some moss placed around the figures and some chipping cut into them.
This stuff is awesome

That's a great idea!
Great story at the end! A Fantastic project!
Thank you.
Amazing! If I didn't know those started off as plastic figures, I'd swear they look like pewter or rock!
Thank you 😊
You absolutely killed it brother, Great work 🎉 Keep it up!
Appreciate it. Thank you. 😊
Yeah that was great! Somehow my desire to get into crafts has now intersected with my newfound passion for D&D haha
One of us. One of us. 😈
Can't wait to see what you do with the other 2 wrestlers you have left to transform into statues. Whether that statue being Sone or iron. or copper or silver statues,, remains to be seen.
I am his friend and I talk to him about this stuff and it is really good
Can't wait to paint with you again!
7:57 Apple Barrel Khaki... The boots with the fur...
Fantastic idea, I’ll definitely be using this idea for my terrain! Great work!
Took the Dollar Tree Superman. Gave him a high collar for his cape and a skull in his open hand. Used a cheap wolf toy and some greenstuff fur for a wolf-pelt shoulder ruff.
Instant Vampire Prince.
Your build has inspired me to take a look at the possibilities of Wrestling figures. Thank you.
Thank you for checking out the video.
Underrated channel! These are great crafts!
Thank you for watching.
Just found the channel, loved this video.
I like the washer in the cap idea.
I cut the magnets out of the dollar store shower curtain before I throw it out.
That's a great way to score some cheap magnets. Nice tip.

Sounds like you have some fun projects in your future.
WOW!!!
Excellent job.

That sounds like a fun school project.
I did this with the rock and gold paint, but I like the creativity!
A rock painted in gold? Would that be fool's gold? 😉🤪😎
You did better than a good job! These make me think of a hall of champions with statues lining the walls. You made my day. Glad you like the video.
Great idea and awesome results. Subscribed!
Welp time to stop by Dollar Tree and buy some tiny figures to paint. Awesome idea! :D No idea what I'll use them for, but they'll look cool.
Thank you for that fun fact. 😊 Glad you found the channel. I've got a ton of dollar store and final faction videos. Dig in! 😁👍
This was actually pretty cool gonna try this with my little girl thanks for the inspiration
This is awesome man! I've just started stripping back the details on an action figure to add my own sculpt to it.
Going to recreate my character's armour on a game I play haha
looks like so much fun repurposing toys! Great work, really inspiring :)
Thank you.
after the black wash, a dry brush with an earthy green or if you did the bronze route a teal color would give it a nice touch of nature and age
Great advice.
Anyone else think of Bob Ross the painter dude who talked as if he was actually in the painting. This guy to me has the same passion for his hobby and I hope he does well in his channel.
A huge compliment. Thank you much.
Bob Ross is the man! =)
"And now, we're going to take a happy little wash, and bring out all those happy little details ..."
Pretty damn impressive.
Fantastic. Thanks for the video.
Amazing as always!!! Keep it up! I love your dollar store content
Thanks so much
Very creative and resourceful. Using inexpensive materials to make great looking gaming pieces!
This was such an inspired and wonderful idea , you’re so creative and imaginative it’s so lovely x
That is freaking amazing you can save me a buttload of money I'm making my DND characters for my party
Thank you so much. You can make bad guys for the table as well. Check out my Pumpkin King video. I think he turned out amazing.
This is such a cool idea. Turning those pretty useless figures into something really cool. I've always been impressed with what a homogeneous pallet, highlights and shadow, can achieve
I like how use the tip to heat up the Plastic for bending the plastic clever
Awesome work!
Absolutely incredible work!
I saw these as separates at dollar store on Monday and held back on buying till I watched your video. For sure using them for craft and terrain material.
These look great. I can easily shine them as gladiator statues decorating an arena. They would be perfect scatter terrain for a Dark Sun campaign!
Thanks so much for watching.
Very simple and effective way to make props for the maps. I like it.
Really nice. I love that you embellished them, and didn't just whack some paint on. Well done
I think the embellishments are my favorite part of the project. Thanks for watching.
You did very well!!!
Great job man! They look incredible! Very helpful, inspiring & informative. Thanks!
Your stone work is great! Im inspired to try some of these.....
I was inspired from your videos to make my own dollar store creations but I haven’t been able to find anything like these. But I did however find a Rhino that I turned into a “Battle Rhino” with armour and such :D still finishing up but I think it looks awesome
That sounds amazing. I'd love to see it. Share it with me on Instagram.
Will be trying this out, Cheers mate!
Amazing ideas! Amazing workmanship!
Thank you very much.
Great ideas!
Cool and simple, not too much crazy tools needed.
This is awesome I want to try this
Lol I can’t unsee the rock
Turned out great, dude.
Thanks so much.
Absolutely love this idea. I grabbed a few cheap dinosaur toys not too long ago to 1) Practice painting large lizards and 2) see how well I could refurbish a cheap toy. This has got me interesting in trying something more bold.
Looking forward to the next video!
😁👍
Damn. These look Really Cool 👍
Nice job!!!!
Looks cool! Great work. 🤙🏽
Wow i just noticed, i thought you added that design on Reigns chest but it was in the original figure, those dollar store figs have detail
The peoples statue! Great work
These are so dope!
Thank you
I just picked up He-man and Skeletor from the dollar store and I am about to try to do something similar. XD
these are absolutely fantastic!!!!!! subscribed.

omg this was such a great idea.
Thank you 😁 👍
holy cow!! thats a fantasic idea!
Those look amazing
Great techniques thanks!
These were so dang cool man, great job!
Champion NPC: Who is my next challenger?
Player: My name is....
Champion NPC: IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS!!!!
Looks so good.
Great job, thanks for the video.
And thank you for watching.
Shadowmand Son did a great video of making Yetis using the same minis.give em a look see.
Fantastic!
P.s. perhaps making the sword with plasticard make it more solid, but it's an incredibile job
That would have been a better material to use. Though the cereal box card stock is free. And I'm cheap.🤣
Great idea !!
Ofcourse theres two Samoans in the shrine of champions ahaha lets goooooooo
Also THESE ARE INSANE very well done sir
Thank you very much.😁👍
While the colors are great, I kind of think the plastic of the figures was to smooth for stone. They look like they'd work better with a bronze or similar paint for them.
Might have also been a good idea to put some work into the boots and parts of the pants...the boots on both of them look very modern
I thought this was you taking statues and turning them into wwe wrestlers I'd looked at the thumbnail so wrong😂😂
If you watch backwards I do exactly that.
@@brokenterrain I'll do that😂
I’d actually like to see what you do with the Finn Bálor figure, as his name is based on Irish mythology (Fionn mac Cumhaill/Finn McCool/Finn MacCool and Balor/Balar) and although he hasn’t used it for a while, used his “Demon King” persona.
Challenge accepted. I'll see what I can do with Finn.
Pretty cool
Any recommendation for what to use for the card stock? Would a manila folder work? Great work!
I think that's a great material. Very thin but sturdy. Cereal boxes, Little Debbie snacks and Hostess snack boxes work really well too.
I found them in metal at dollar tree. Hope they turn out this well.
Brutal
Locyore superglue good stuff
Love Loctite. They are my go to brand for super glue.
You could use the Superman fig as a amateur of Superman in the park in Metropolis city
That's a great way to make some scatter for a DC comics themed game.
So cool
Thank you
Way to go! :)
The one in the middle is almost begging for a trident
Woah 🤯
Excellent video, but you know you could have easily just kept the figurines attached to their original bases the whole time you were painting and dressing them up, right?
Live and learn. 🤣😁😎👍
@@brokenterrain Just thought I'd ask. ;)
Great video - good ideas. Feel it could have been a few minutes shorter and snappier
I continue to work on my video editing and the overall flow and length of videos. I haven't perfected it yet but I'm always trying to improve. Thanks for watching.
