i clicked this video thinking "no way i'm staying for half an hour" then i kept glued to the screen for the whole video without realizing lol. you're incredibly skilled dude
I watched it at 2x speed, but I watch 95% of UA-cam that way now, so I can fit more content in. Great set piece, and I'm glad I stuck around til the end.
This is my first vid of yours to see and have to say.... wow. Well done and I absolutely love the story telling tour at the end. i really love how you dont need a lot of materials to make something so detailed. Ya got yourself another sub.
If you goto a thrift store jewelry section, you can get some fine gold chain, or ole earrings and stuff-- it would have been cool to see treasure in the dragons mouth.
This was amazing and educational to watch! You did such an amazing job. I am going to use this idea. It has so much potential. Thank you for making this video.
and the dragon of the mountain became the dragon mountain... you just wait till your players say, "what do you mean, the dragon's waking up?" awesome work with those cheapo plastic skeletons, too, and well bricked. ^^ definitely a place I'd like to explore.
She constantly whispers to the wielder of The Dragon's Jaw. The cursed blade. Trying always to trick them into returning her jaw bone and awakening her once again. Then and only then, will she have her revenge!
@@brokenterrain "Why did you put that sword into the dragon skeleton's maw?" "it... seemed to be natural to me." "well, you bereft us of the only weapon to fight this dragon lich. Congrats, Buster!" "Juusten, we have a proble(rest is cut off by a big hot dragon breath firewall)"
I think you're gonna blow up with subscribers soon!! Really creative and accessible. The path and stairs are sooooo cool it looks really therapeutic to build. Also I saw a parrot
I don't even know how I ended here but I'm glad I did! tried a kind of similar concept but didn't have the energy to finish it, but seeing you do it gave me strenght so thank you!
I've seen other crafters put their foam bricks in a coffee can with rocks and shake it to rough them up and texture them en masse. I love that your wife challenged you. It came out amazing, your players are lucky to have you seeing how much work you put into this.
I had already liked the video by the time you started black-washing the set, but using craft rope as alternate static grass is an idea I haven't heard or seen from bigger channels like Real Terrain Hobbies or Black Magic Creations and it's genius for dead grass along with regular greener shades. That earned a subscription from me and I'm more than excited to watch both your back log and future videos, well done sir.
Loved the ending really cool. Plus I think the spider would have bee good to chop up to use the bones for garnishing the mountain. Overall 10/10 work I would love to do a campaign with that setting
Nice work, only advice I could even remotly think of for you is "Have you thought of instead of instantly glueing your custom dragon to the mountian, instead create Resin cast molds so you can use the pieces on other projects as well. especially the dragon skull.
I have some loose plans to do some molds. Things like windows and doors to speed up building. Hopefully I can pull it off. I also hope to cast my texture roller and sell copies. So much to do.
This one is fantastic. I especially loved watching the bricks being set down, it really adds that extra level of detail that a piece like this wants. Question: Did the "dragon" skeleton add enough weight to keep this from tipping? It looks a bit top heavy, so I might consider putting some weight in the bottom of the hill.
Thank you asking. I actually counter sunk several fender washers into the bottom before gluing it down to some sturdy chip board to protect the bottom. This added enough weight to keep it upright.
Very cool as is, only suggestions for details I would offer up. Heat that dragon so you could better mold it like it's settling into the terrain. Also, knock some of those brick path out. That dragon would have torn up to he ground in his clawing upward. Dig out some of the terrain under the dragon do it looks like the ground is slowly burying that dragon.
Heating the skeleton up would have helped big time. Those weathering ideas are fantastic as well. It's those details that really sell it. I'll try to keep improving and incorporate your advice. Thanks so much for watching.
I don't like playing D&D, but I'd love to make terrain like this. Too bad all of my friends rather play it imaginary with pen and paper. I'd really like to be their terrain maker.
You should have placed a custom made portal piece on the top just to have some purpose for the players to climb the mountain and someone maybe guarding the portal
Great idea. On the platform is a decorative circle bead. In my lore, this represents a magical focusing point. Increasing a caster's power and spell strength. So it functions as a place of power for great works of magic. The platform and that magic circle being the "portal" or place of importance upon the mountain top. We had the same idea executed differently.
Much love. Thank you. I do have a proxxon and love using it. A gift from my wonderful wife.. Oftentimes I'll try to do a project without it though. I want even beginners to feel confident that they too can pull off some incredibly awesome pieces of terrain without some of the more expensive tools. Thank you watching.
Sometimes you're in a hurry and sometimes you can take your time and just enjoy the process. This was one of those builds where you can just enjoy laying tons of tiny bricks.
i clicked this video thinking "no way i'm staying for half an hour" then i kept glued to the screen for the whole video without realizing lol. you're incredibly skilled dude
This comment means a lot to me. I really appreciate it. Thank you so much.

Hypnotic & Mesmerizing!!! I too thought it would b too long to watch all But, I found myself glued to the progress.
Came for the dragon. Stayed for the brick work. 😎👏
And the bird 😍
Yep
Love those dollar tree skeletons. I always stock up. Great set-piece.
Thank you so much! I'm a huge fan.🤩
Excellent work! Time well spent; both by you building and painting, and the rest of us watching!

Awesome idea.
This video definitely had enough quality content to justify the run time.
And the reveal at the end was magnificent! Inspired!
Thank you very much.
The ending reveal... wow! The modular pieces makes for a great setup that you can change each time.
I'm a modular addict. I have very little storage space so I'm always thinking about how pieces can be utilized in different ways.
This is super cool!!! Lots of detail! What a fun kind of challenge! :)
Awesome! I love it! LOVE THE BIRD TOO!! I have a Conure as well. keep up with the great videos!
Appreciate it. Thank you.
Very cool ,props for taking the time to put the individual stones for the walk way
I'll take those props. Thank you 😊
This was amazing and educational to watch! You did such an amazing job. I am going to use this idea. It has so much potential. Thank you for making this video.

I think you're gonna blow up with subscribers soon!! Really creative and accessible. The path and stairs are sooooo cool it looks really therapeutic to build.
Also I saw a parrot
Thank you so much. That was my green cheek conure Wren. He likes to make an appearance now and again.
Absolutely amazing idea and I love your explanation very easy to follow along
Thanks so much 😊
Man! Really shows you how it's all in the artist's skill and tools! Truly art from "garbage"! Cheers!
Thank you so much.
That skeletal spider wouldn't be the goofiest thing to appear in a fantasy game like D&D - I kinda like it!
Ain't that the truth.🤣
A lot of creators try to fill the space, and have constant jump cuts to match the algorithm. I love that you left almost every detail in. 🤘👍
Thank you so much!
I don't even know how I ended here but I'm glad I did! tried a kind of similar concept but didn't have the energy to finish it, but seeing you do it gave me strenght so thank you!

Amazing, all those stones are crazy! ANd yes, you definitely did ti the hard way. Easy for me to say right?
Am I crazy if I enjoyed doing the stones?🤪
Very cool
Great job
Cool build, I love it. Maybe you could have worked in some of those spider legs to freak out the arachnophobes. :-)
Perhaps something spider themed for next Halloween. 😉👍
Very epic
Amazing
I wonder if his friends get tired from constantly having to hold his beer?
I like the skeletal dragon
i love it! one thing i might add (and by one i mean many) stalactites.
That would make a great addition.
Omfg dude I can't believe this only has 1,7k likes
Saw some new mini “hero” busts in the DT yesterday and thought ‘wonder what Broken Terrain will do with these?’ 😃
They just got a ton of great new toys in. My mind is whirling with the possibilities.
That is sick!!! I wanna make one in 1:12 scale bro

Orcus likes this, now build him an Abyssal undead Tarrasque to ride into battle.

@@brokenterrain great video! Great build, I loved it.
I have the dragon from a dollar store by me. I'm currently working on making it a Bone Napper style piece!
Awesome. I'm on Instagram. Tag me so I can check it out when you're ready.
Praise the algorithm. It randomly dropped this video. Completely in line with what I like to see and do.
Someday I hope to relearn basic editing. 😉.

A bat and a rat combined... You made a brat and i love it!
1:21 birb!
BIRB
DO YOU HAVE A BIRD! CUTE!
I DO HAVE A BIRD. HE'S A FANTASTIC FEATHERY FELLOW. 🥰
I have one of those bone spiders. I use it as is in my game.
Heck yeah! There's amazing amount of table ready stuff if you're creative enough to find it.
I don't like playing D&D, but I'd love to make terrain like this. Too bad all of my friends rather play it imaginary with pen and paper. I'd really like to be their terrain maker.
They'll come around. 😊👍
This is HELLA cool! Great idea! I gotta ask though, what's the song at around 14 mn in?
The song is one from UA-cam 's audio library call "medieval astrology - Underbelly & Ty Mayer. Thank you for checking out the video.
You should have way more subscribers!!
Thank you. I appreciate that.
Thinking this could also be used to make a Dracolich mini
Halloween is coming round again. Can't wait to find more decorations to hack!
Базара нет, круто
Shamrock Boooyyyzzz!!!
They representing!
You should have placed a custom made portal piece on the top just to have some purpose for the players to climb the mountain and someone maybe guarding the portal

The song is Medieval Astrology by Underbelly & Ty Mayer. Part of UA-cam's free to use music selection.
Good !!! +1
Can we start a collection to buy this genius a Proxxon foam cutter please? I'll kick in twenty.
Much love. Thank you. I do have a proxxon and love using it. A gift from my wonderful wife.. Oftentimes I'll try to do a project without it though. Laying foam bricks is really fun??? What is wrong with you??? Pmsl looks amazing, but dude mind numbing process. Great video.
Sometimes you're in a hurry and sometimes you can take your time and just enjoy the process. This was one of those builds where you can just enjoy laying tons of tiny bricks.
Spiders have an exoskeleton not an endoskeleton like vertebrates. So yeah they have no internal skeleton it's all on the outside of the body.
Dragons are nothing to flock with!🙂
