There is nothing as baffling to me as the rise of the Lego franchise, its absorption of EVERYTHING, and how those things are allowed to do as much as they are and get the budget they get.

Imagine this. Played D&D? 2nd ed? Forgotten Realms? Undermountain? Ok. Now imagine Undermountain was really the Aperture facility brought in by some zany science experiment. Now imagine the Mad Wizard was really Cave Johnson! Think back in those days of playing it in the late 90's to early 2000's, and when sit back and go "holy fu---" you're welcome. :) PS: The Portal 2 song is a great outro song for a party that passed all of the traps and puzzles.
Man, I want a third game, and I got an idea You play as Rattman, yeah, the ambiguity of his survival will be gone but it'd be worth it. I haven't thought of the plot elements except one thing, you'd have the companion cube with you for the entirety of the game, and so it doesn't bother the player, Doug carries it on his back like in the comic, the cubr talks to you while playing, and he could even give hints on how to complete the levels, like how the cube helps Doug in the comic. In the end, you're somehow forced to take your schizophrenia medicine, maybe Glados could pump it throught the air like the neurotoxin, or Glados just simply incinerated your companion. It could also be the first instance of a talkative protagonist, which also pairs nicely with the cube, because if it was just Glados and the cube talking, they would never interact as the cube is just a hallucination, which Glados can't comprehend.
If portal 3 happens and for part of the story GLADoS (I think those are just the right capitalizations) adds a core or a part of her programming that helps her change as an AI on a behavioral level, I could totally see Don’t Say Goodbye as the credits song for it.
