It’s not the “boarding house” it’s the board house built on land now the quarter circle U ranch. Matt Cavaness and his wife had some milk cows and sold milk to the Silver King Mine.
The board house and the milk house ( sometimes called the “cow barn” ) are all one and the same place.

@@larryhedrick254 hello Larry i trust you and Clay but i saw on treasure net a man name Roberts said they were two different places i found the mine in 2002 and i wondering why Waltz would go to the north side of the supers . it doesn't make any logical reasoning ..your talking about the ranch south of Dons camp .. i love your video and watch them all a few times . hope to get back to the supers soon . like real facts when they match reality ...lol maybe some time when i get down there again i will look you up Larry , about the story of the dragoon pistols..i think they were talking about the old Apache & Spanish trail in fact the same trail Waltz used ....stay safe stay free

What is funny about the board house is Waltz was gonna show her that way because it is an easier route for her. When he also was followed by Dick Holmes near Fort McDowell and gave him different directions into the mountains via the Salt River. This is because there is two ways to arrive to the canyon. From the south and from the north. Waltz gave Holmes directions the way he was being followed by him and caught him. Because waltz was headed in but just kept going and misled Holmes instead. Didn’t let him see where he enters the mountains. It’s a north south canyon with an old government trail running through it.

    At 1.45 approximately,
Clay mentions that the Dutch Ditch overflowed flooding his Adobe not the river. The Dutch Ditch cut across a corner of his property, perhaps this it what Clay meant to refer too that his place was on the south side of.
I have made several gaffs of this nature in my talks and I’m only 82. Clay is well into his 90s and I forgive him.

The ridge that Mr. Worst speaks of to cross over is, black mesa. This would have been the easiest way to travel to the mine for a woman. 30 pounds of Dutchman gold ore would be roughly 155 ounces.

Re watching this today, after a year or so at the suggestion of Hank and Larry in their newest installment about the Dutchman's clues. But right at 42 seconds, I see a glaring inaccuracy. Clay tells Charlie, God Rest his Soul, that the Dutchman's homestead was on the SOUTH bank of the Salt River.....
The map that is then shown at that mark, shows the Dutchman's quarter NORTH of the Salt River, at what is the current intersections of 7th Street and Buckeye road. That is just about 1/2 mile southeast of Chase Field, and almost a mile, maybe more from the NORTH bank of the Salt River.
Where did this map come from? If it is indeed authentic, then Clay may have his directions a bit off. And if Clay is correct, then someone screwed up terribly on mapping this based on Clay's account.
Larry, Hank.....can you check into this, please? No mention of it or any corrections in the comments
RIP, Charlie and thanks to the two of you along with others for continuing this incredibly interesting channel and the stories with it following Charlie's death.

wow .we have been going threw about 40 years of research into the LDM and over 700 photos, I had all but forgotten a event that had taken place on one of my expeditions into the super ..it was when I found the house in cave ...I remember standing there and wondering now what , just before a big cat wanted to make me his dinner .. but when I was setting the other night I was thinking about what happened and I realized something that the Dutch man said ...he said a lot things to a lot of people but like Weiser . he never toll them the full truth .. and he had a good reason ...yes I found it and I know where it is .. I was standing on the tailing pile and did not realize it at the time ..am I certain ..yes ,the LDM has been located ...it is not what every one thinks it is ..I did not know what waltz was saying till a few days ago ...yes I can prove it is the real LDM ...all I have to do is go back to the tailing pile and get some ore and have it tested . even the smallest sample with gold will prove I am correct ...it may not be the rich high grade by the test should prove it is ore from the same Waltz mine .. we are going to find out ....!I always wondered why he said some of the things he did . they had nothing to do with finding the mines locate , but in fact they did ...when I was thinking about standing there looking at over burden tailing pile I realize something about what the Dutchman said ...before I could act on what I saw this big cat got us to leave fast ...and I had forgotten all about it till the other night when I was going threw pictures it reminded me ...I went threw a hole and found the house in the cave and every thing that waltz said was in some way true to the letter if your in the right location ...there is a little over a 100 years of brush and trees grown over it but yes it is the LDM ...I had been looking miles from where it was and I had walked right past it with in feet of it and never knew it was there ..." is the LDM real its hard to get a tailing pile from a mine that dose not exist ? " yes its been found , now comes the hard part proving it is the real one and only LDM.... yes ,I am the Blindbowman from upstate NY ...
