Wow this is a fantastic video, so happy I found it! I think seeing the different techniques really help sort out the ordering of things in my mind for how I will approach my upcoming piece. Big thank you.
Thank you Sue, I really enjoyed your video tutorial. I have just purchased some Liquitex inks and they arrived today, so with your help, I will get started on putting them to good use.
Hi, thank you for your video. I would like to know: once the ink has dried, what mediums can be used on top of it? Will charcoal, watercolour, acrylic paint and also oil colours work or will they be repelled by the waterproof surface once the inks are dry?
Hello Sue, i just came across your video, nice work. I have a question, I am actually a model railroader and just getting into airbrushing, can you tell what are the advantages in using acrylic inks vs acrylic paints etc. I do understand that these inks can be used in an airbrush from the bottle- thanks very much
What type of paper are you using? How fast does the paint dry on your palette? I'm afraid I will waste too much ink if I let it sit there. Can I cover the palette with a wet paper towel & into a plastic bag to use later, or the next day?thanks Sue!
It drys permanent so all you have to do is use the same dropper to suck up the extra ink back in the bottle. unless you watered it down then don't put that back into your bottle. I usually put that into a little spray bottle and use it for spraying on to my journal pages. I really love this kind of ink.
WHAT .....!!!! I could follow exactly what she is doing in this video and it would still turn out looking like a puddle of ink I would take my hat of to this women if I had one on ;..... Amazing video tho thanks
I don't like watercolors but the painting started off quite perfect (for my taste) until the water yucked it all up. I mean, she did fabulous for a watercolor artist, i'm referring to my personal opinion on watercolors as a style NOT a negative reflection on her expertise at all. Had she simply painted the piece as she started out with the trees and shrubs, I would have absolutely loved to put it on display in my home.
I love her, her voice, explanation. She is just so incredibly cute and sweet!
I've just bought some acrylic inks and can't wait to try them out! thank you for your video - what a wonderful little painting and a great demo

I have some acrylic inks that I use for line-work and calligraphy, but I like how you also use the ink 'watercolor style' as your wash, it's lovely!
