I think you need to be more consistent in order to achieve 100k subscriber goal. I am a subscriber because I found your channel when you were consistently posting, and I looked forward to you posting on a regular basis.

Do you have ideas for videos or any tips for her besides this? Consistent content creation is not easy and it can be mentally exhausting

I have faith that she will reach and exceed her goal 🙌🏼 Consistency is good advice, but I’m here for QUALITY over quantity.

@@MT-yx5cu Consistency does not mean posting every day. It means getting on a schedule and sticking to that schedule as best as possible. So whether it be once every week, once every two weeks, whatever she can manage. In terms of video ideas, she can speak about whatever topics are current and relevant like she has always done. Whether it be body image, gender dynamics, relationships etc. One hot very hot and relevant topic now is the degradation of the institution of marriage. She could do a video essay about that and speak on the possible effects on society, the contributing factors, etc. She could also do vlog content like she did in the past. Many influencers post these on a weekly basis.
      What are your suggestions?

@@katejohnson5083 I am here for quality as well, but if I were a new sub and she posted every now and again, the reality is I probably would unsubscribe. I am still here because I’ve watched her long enough to know that the videos are worth the wait.

my sister gave me a really good book re hacking your cycle called Period Power by Maisie Hill, It goes through the phases of your cycle referencing how they relate to seasons and helps you understand how at different times of the month you might feel more energetic/low in energy etc and how to plan important life decisions or general work life around this concept. 100% recommend!

I'm going to offer an alternative thought 👀 recently I came across a lady who said that she was struggling to lose weight. She read this book by Bradley Nelson called "The Emotion Code" which speaks of how as humans, we go through life and negative/traumatic events happen to us that elicit strong emotions. The emotions can sometimes remain unresolved and become trapped in our bodies because our bodies don't forget these things. Trapped emotions can cause blockages and all manor of illnesses. Science has actually shown this to be true where negative emotions can cause illness which is why in holistic medicine, they treat the whole individual from their physical to emotional health to heal them. An example would be how many sexual assault victims unconsciously keep weight on because they want to "remain unattractive" so they won't be assaulted again, therefore keeping weight on due to trauma (not all of them but some report this). The lady I spoke of earlier said that when she released the trapped emotions she had, she was able to lose weight quickly with minimal effort. I found this to be really interesting and read the book, I honestly do recommend it. Perhaps body dysmorphia is related to a trapped emotion that needs releasing?

Omg this is so interesting!! I'm intrigued and definitely going to check out that book. I do believe the body keeps a score but never thought about it with regards to weight and body image. Thanks for sharing!

There’s nothing wrong with vanity fitness, if that gets you in the door great, its better than nothing . It’s staying there that ends up being the problem. The endorphin rush will eventually carry you. Appreciate this holistic health with grace. It’s something more needed in the space. There’s highs and lows, but falling in love with the journey is what keeps your going

I really enjoy your content, have been watching for a while but never comment. When you started speaking about your period, my ears perked up! Cycle syncing is a helpful way to understand how you can work with your body to be productive e.g I don’t do strenuous exercise on my period, I either do Pilates or rest.

Hearing this a year on makes me really happy! So pleased you've made so much progress with your aims, even when it's been hard. Re: changes in the future, it's good that you know that changes will come but it's also good that you have positive health and fitness aims. I think therapy may be a good investment so that you're able to talk through how u see yourself now/how you'll see yourself in the future as your health and aesthetics improve, as you age, when you have children etc. I think you'll have to be kinder and more patient with yourself as these changes happen. I think therapy could help you to see and celebrate (in a bigger way) the small wins at each stage of your progress and give u new vocab to use for yourself, e.g. "Adella, you look great in this transition to being fitter/looking optimal (aesthetically)" instead of "Urgh I can't wait until such-and-such changes cos THEN I'll look amazing!". Re: menstrual cycles, look up The Period Doctor on IG and check out the Hormonlogy website. Both have some useful resources. X
