Real music, real musicians, this is what you get when Real effort and Real discipline are applied in life. You get talent and art that conveys the story of life...
These guys are my favorite band. They’re also super nice and interactive with their fans. Every single one of their songs is worth listening to, they don’t have a bad one. But some of my favorites gotta be Suspyre, Devour Me Colossus, Eyrie, and Of Petrichor Weaves Black Noise. You also can’t go wrong with both parents of As The Flesh Falls.
Everyone in this band is super nice, friendly and approachable off stage, including and especially the harsh vocalist (who also creates all their artwork and writes the lyrics), even if he comes of dark and aggressive on stage.🖤
Iirc this is or was part of the curriculum at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Nice to see music like this, complex but well composed and metal being recognized for the art.
I love these guys, they do really well with blending a classic, exquisite sound, and extreme metal music. No one else sounds like them as a whole. They have an impressive catalogue of albums too which is always great. glad you enjoyed it!
Ivee watched this performance more times than I can count and it's still amazing. I've been a metal head since around 11 or 12, got my first guitar at 13 but my favorite instrument will always be violin. There is just something about it that touches my soul and pulls on my heartstrings.
There are few that believe Dan Presland is human😂 his drumming is out of this world! Sadly he left the Band but still recorded the actual album with them. The opening track of this album is "Equus" which is in my eyes one of the most epic and touching progressive Metal songs ever. It's a hommage to the people that lost their homes and their lives in the last devastating Australian bushfires and you can feel the tragedy in every note! Since the video we just saw, Tim Charles clean vocals developed even more and in the ending section we have possibly the most beautiful guitar solo ever❤ You might check it out, it's a journey (and a fantastic video production as well) Have a good day too😉
Their drummer at the time, Dan Presland may not be the fastest metal drummer ever, but his precision, stamina, and creativity are second to none. He's one of the few drummers I've ever had the privilege to watch from side stage who actually plays damn near just as good live as one the studio album. He's an absolute machine. You absolutely should check out more of their stuff. Anything. You can't go wrong with this band!
Dan Presland is the drummer. He, Gene Hoglan(Strapping young lad, dethklok), and Mario Duplantier(Gojira) are probably the fastest, most precise drummers in the world. Unreal.
Loved the reaction, great bunch of people too. Always thinking of the fans, love to chat after the shows. The new album was just released. First track is about the fires Australia went through a year before coved hit us. Great track, guitar solo makes me cry, I hear the sirens in it every time.
Ne Obliviscaris might be my favorite band at this point. Just raw talent from every member. They have gotten a new bassist and drummer but they somehow found the only 2 musicians that could match them. And Xenoyr’s vocals are insane, I believe he does fry screams which are typically a much lighter and higher sound but from him it sounds like a gateway to hell. Loved your analysis.
I absolutely love Ne Obliviscaris, they're almost incapable of putting out a bad album they are crazy talented, you should definitely check out this bands latest work which came out in March, the album is called "Exul", fantastic album, but a song specifically called "Equus"
Funny thing is, theres lots of metal drummers whi do the double pedal. And like 99% of times you hear it, yeah thays a dude actually pulling it off. Check out a drum video from Alan Cassidy if you really want your mind blown
If you liked this especially the drum stuff boy do you need to check out some more metal. Guys like Austin Archey from Lorna Shore and Matt Greiner from August Burns Red will blow your mind
Absolutely phenomenal band. Check out the song "Equus" off their new album they released this year. Its a very powerful song about the Australian bushfires that really brings the emotion.
One of Australia's finest metal groups. This song was part of the curriculum at the Sydney conservatorium of music
Alongside with Be'Lakor i´d like to add :)
Absolute masterpiece of heavy music.

The build up in Devour Me Colossus is a religious experience
Liking before he even starts the music. This is such a great band, song, and performance

❤every album one of my favorite bands for years🎉🎉🎉🎉
i been a fan of these guys for a while, this song is one of the best, song is even studied at a musical university over here

This song is from their first album. Equus (and Dan's last contribution to the band) is on their 4th album.
It's also more about the loss of animal life as opposed to human homes from those fires.
I second Equus. Favorite song by them
@@Skanah_I'm still very much and unashamedly obsessed with that song!
But to be fair, it's a NeO track 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽
I saw them live once, and they are all so talented. Also, crazy was that they were going for 2+ hours straight without amy real break
Great song. They all are amazing, but the bass is phenomenal imo
13:34 Many are saying this.
I could seriously listen to all of the reacts to this band and not get tired of it.

Actually here the bass is the crazy one. He's doing marvels from the beginning to the end!

Sadly no longer with Ne Obliviscaris :(

Such a nice surprise to see this song on your channel! Love it!

Love that you started this wormhole. Checkout guitar/bass play through of Graal. Bass is so tasty
Finally get to see them on their upcoming tour!
They'll be starting a tour the day after I leave to go to Europe :(
More NeO reactions please!!!!!!!!!!1

Check out a drum video from Alan Cassidy if you really want your mind blown
🖤🖤
I've been waiting for this
Forget not from the same album is beyond fucking words
I’m hyped u getting into more progressive metal. Always love this genre and always love the videos!
MrLBoyd, if you want to check out a sick ass drummer, Slaughter To Prevail...Evgeny Novikov!!!
If you liked this especially the drum stuff boy do you need to check out some more metal. Guys like Austin Archey from Lorna Shore and Matt Greiner from August Burns Red will blow your mind
Progressive metal at it's best!
I don't think you will ever see Beyonce crowd surfing in her audience either 😄
another bad ass is the drummer for kataklysm. check out blood on the swans, or the night they returned.
I wouldn't call this aggressive, the melody is relaxed but played intense.
you should really give polyphia a listen to
Want to see an inhuman drummer? His name is Matt Garstka
Thank you
Outstanding dude
Absolutely phenomenal band. Check out the song "Equus" off their new album they released this year. Its a very powerful song about the Australian bushfires that really brings the emotion.
