I’m a 43 year old man with 2 jobs, a wife, and two elementary age children. It’s such a relief to here someone talk about the realities of living healthy as a father.
37 y.o. busy dad here. I totally agree with what Dan said. After our 2nd child I had a realization: I've got to learn to train in 15 minutes, or I need to stop working out. I took the first option, lol.
I'm in my early 40's, partner but no kids. Since my partner is chronically ill and one of my parents has cancer, which makes that I try to help them out. So far, I manage to do my work-outs as I used to do, but I'm realistic that this might change soon. I'm aware and preparing for this change. As long we can keep working on our health, strength, mobility..., even with shorter workouts, we are on the right track.
Anthony I love it!! I know it’s just a snippet but I love the way you let him talk although I’m sure the exchanges will be even more informative. So much good info in the snippet alone and my two heroes in one space 👍 Your vision moving forward is exciting
Not sure what rules you follow? But the rules of proper training don't change as one gets older. If anything they become more important. As we age the wiggle room we once had in our youth rapidly disappeared, and we find ourselves in a position where we must follow them..
And here at least it seems like you remember the challenge on time management of having kids. I like you and respect your knowledge, but, again…we’re not all wealthy, buying any ol’ book that perks our interest

I’m 44 with a a wife and a four year old. It just feels so relieving that someone understands how I feel!
What are your biggest struggles TSF?
1 kid?? Try having 3 of them.. 1 is easy
@@infiniteg7852One is enough! I took measures to keep it that way!🤣
Dude, I'm 44 with a five year old. It's interesting for sure. I have more money and sense than if I had a kid younger, but less energy!
