Love the positive reframe story. I'm a firm believer of a Greek expression which roughly translates as 'each obstacle comes for good'. Of course there are obstacles that are almost impossible to justify in that way - like for example losing a leg in an accident in your early 20's after first spending 5 lost years with the fruitless hope of saving it. This is why Anthony is so successful in what he does: he has been where most of us cannot even dream of going and has lived to tell the story. And he tells it with subtle discretion and heart-warming generosity. Take a listen, it can be life-changing.
Thanks Anthony, I write all my workouts down, I make comments on how my day has transpired, weathers that’s positive or not so. However this video has actually arrived on my device at quite a significant time. So instead of commenting at the end of my day I could start by being more mindful at the beginning. Thanks.
Hey W, thank you very much for your comment, it's always motivating for me to get positive feedback. Just a simple introverted guy here sharing what works for me and hopefully a few more people that will find it relatable 🙏🏼💪🏼
Great video Anthony!!... working out has always been as much about mental wellbeing as well as the physical for me... I love the stoic/buddhist phylosophies... I'm 61yo old now and still working every day to stay well... keep pushing and stay strong 🫡
Hello Dave! I also find that as you grow older it's more and more about inner balance and general health and less about appearance, which makes you fall even more effortlessly with the process. Obviously there's some vanity all of us and we all like to look good but that becomes more of a positive side effect as you grow older, right? How do you train nowadays? Thanks for commenting, always great to hear from all kinds of other people, different places, and different phases of life 🙏🏼💪🏼
I train push/pull/legs everyday... I alternate exercises over the days using pullups, chinups, dips, handstand pushups, pushups, squats, lunges, hanging leg raises, dragon flags... and I like to do some jumprope between sets... I NEVER go to failure (not worth the risk of injury for me) but use pause reps and MMC... and I also train first thing in the morning before breakfast... and hope to carry on as long as I can 🤞... cheers Anthony 👍
Another excellent lesson, I'm still continuing to learn from you. My great take-away today; combining my training journal with my gratitude journal (why didn't I think of that?!) Continue the great work. PEACE.
Doing well Anthony - I have been 'recycling' our old training sessions (especially the Drop Ladders; pull & push) still seeing great results. Enjoying the recent videos on mindset and attitude also!@@BodyweightMuscle
Very inspirational and thought provoking. I just got through reading “ The Obstacle is the Way” by Ryan Holiday. It is true. Facing our demons is the pathway to freedom. Physical or mentally, facing them brings clarity… Great video. Have a great day. I’ll e-mail you soon. Thanks
@@BodyweightMuscle Yea, it’s a great book. That’s one of the reasons that I like your channel and the your message. You had a physical set-back and you became a stronger human because of it. I like the “Nothing will hold me down” attitude. I have it as well. Talk to you soon. Have a great weekend….

Have a great one Dub 🙏🏼💪🏼
Great workout! Do you still recommend using MMC for increasing muscle tension instead of adding additional weight to bodyweight exercise?
Yup pretty much! I actually like alternating between adding more reps and then infusing those reps with more MMC 💪🏼
Although I do have some interesting new stuff coming soon so stay posted!
