Ms. Madsen was a class act, she really knew her product.
You may be surprised, but I'm okay with the 2 burner stove. I keep 2 of my burners covered since I don't use them at all. I do use my air fryer, stand mixer, and instant pot, so I'd appreciate the counter space more than a big stove.
These videos make me sad that I am too old to ever be able to move to New York, love the vitality and life going on. The prices are scary for someone who lives in the Midwest.
The prices are too scary for New Yorkers as well! This is one of those buildings that sit with empty units because no one except Wall St types are going to get gashed with outrageous prices like this.
From the outside looking in, NYC seems like a great place to live, until you actually move there. As a native New Yorker, who has since moved on to greener pastures in the DC metro, I think NYC is a great place to visit. It's not really a great place to live, unless you have unlimited resources and don't mind paying exorbitant rent.
@@lenaprice6239 Thank you for your perspective as an ex-newyorker. I always wonder when I watch theses videos, why it is even worth it to live in NY? To me it looks like a transition place to live, somewhere you go to hone a skill or profession then quit to live elsewhere. Who can sustain a cost of living there for years? Unless you inherited a fortune. My son went to visit last week and he never expected NY to smell of garbage and pee so much ( sorry to write this). I am sure NY has some very nice areas and stuff to do but it has downsides as well. I just dont understand NY I guess.
$3,750 for 364 sq. ft. ???😮😮
idiots keeping renting them...rich foreigners
Yeah, both those units we saw needed to be around $1,000 less a month. The view from that 1br was awesome, but not THAT awesome. I think, with these kind of buildings, you end up paying for all the ‘free’ bonuses they show you--Fitness room, kitchen/meeting rooms etc., even though you may not use any of it.
50k for one year living in a tiny apartment 😂
@@2tall886 yes that is madness
Good amenities, good neighborhood....very tiny space.
That Murphy bed was pretty cool.
We've got a similar one in our "office" bedroom, for when we have more than two other bedrooms worth of guests. It... wasn't cheap. Made to order in Utah and shipped to us unassembled. Building it up was a chore, but it works great. It's got the couch and floating shelf/support leg and everything. Murphy beds are indeed cool; it's one of the few pieces of furniture we'll take with us if we ever move from this place.
I don't even know why we're not only normalizing but glorifying this. As our society has become more efficient and proficient, we're actually making living spaces smaller and putting higher arbitrary value on it.
For a NYC luxury studio, the first apartment didn't have as scary a price as I expected. The place is really snug, but it has everything you need. That clever Murphy bed makes it possible. I would choose this studio as a good alternative to that pricey one-bedroom!
Dude... You don't even have your own oven for almost 4k/month...
@@pariahcarey1712 The last time I used my oven was two or three years ago. The studio really has room only for a single person, and not much space for entertaining. I'd get more use out of a toaster-oven.
@@Bobrogers99 ikr? Everyone's needs are different. I can think of a few people that set up would work for. Too bad they all live in AZ, CA or NC.
@@Bobrogers99 Oven or not, no studio should cost anywhere near that. Also add utilities, cable/internet and amenity fees, because those are definitely not included... Whoever rents this place is going to pay over 4k to live there. You still think that's a good deal?
@@likemeordont5951 In Astoria, I'm paying 3500 for a 2 bedroom, with laundry, a gym, parking and a 24/7 doorman... There is NO logical reason to spend 4000 on a studio.
That was honestly the best luxury building I have ever seen. The Views are remarkable
Yeah. For the price. Holy cow..
The amenities are better than the views! That's a seriously excellent number of places to sit, work, conduct business meetings, cook, exercise, do laundry, watch TV, walk around, and enjoy the view, that are private to the building but not inside your own door.
I`m from Brazil and visited New York in last October and watching your videos, I feel like I were in New York City again.
Huba Huba! Sara has it going on!! 😍😍😍
Hey Cash, love your videos! A quick tip for your high-end kitchens: „Miele“ is pronounced „Meale“ - you got the end down, but the middle sounds like an „E“. I probably won’t need an apartment in New York anytime soon, but I still very much enjoy your tours. Love from Germany!
When he asked if you could find Miele appliances at Home Depot, I nearly died. LOL
I have a Miele vacuum that's over 30 years old and still works like a charm. Excellent brand.
Hab ich auch gedacht haha
Cool, thanks!
Stunning. Please have Sara on again soon.
Watch ever day Cash posts. Amazed how fast his subs are climbing. Way to go! 500k in sight🎉
Thank you !!
Damn that studio apartment is NICEEE!!!!!! and all the extra amenities are awesome.
I'm loving watching spring coming to NYC. I think I've been a sub for about a year and have watched every video since. I like them just as much now as I did when I first started watching. Good job Cash!
I couldn't believe she said that the small apartment was only 354 square feet. They did a great job laying out the spaces. These are really nice, cheerful apartments. Cash needs to step up his game on the Peloton, though. 😄
That dinner party space is actually kind of awesome. You can have a small apartment day to day but then for that once or twice a year that you want to host a large group you pay a little extra and use it just when you need it.
As long as you don't insist on having Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner on Christmas, it's a great party space!
Been watching Cash for around a year now. The prices are still a joke. 1 bedroom for £6,700 a month. I'd laugh in their faces for insulting me
If u want to live in NY you will pay I guess
Nice building...I can smell the newness...lets not kid ourselves though the first one is a micro apartment...anytime a Murphy bed is in the equation it's a bit small...the second one as a one bed looked great. If the amenities hold up and are included this is a great building and location. I respect Jordan's restraint sometimes and with the LA there...totally get it for sure. Keep up the great work! Looking forward to the next place...
No way anything is included lol
@@pariahcarey1712 lol...I know right Babylon on the lower east side...but I give credit to Jordan...some great spots to look at over the last month or so...I think he needs to challenge himself and go to Staten Island and ask Pete Davidson to give him a tour of what's available...
HA! 4 points for Sara! "There will be NO slamming here!" LOL! She obviously has watched your videos. She even beat you to the medicine cabinet! But, no sink sprayer? Anyway... the building (that gym is SOLID!) and both units are GORGEOUS! That studio was well designed and the view from that one bedroom is breathtaking. BUT... I don't know about the pricing. Although I loved the studio, I was a solid "no" at $3700/month. However, the gym, building, and communal kitchen softened my heart to that price. I LOVED that one bedroom (because of the view) but not at $6700/month even with the gym and building. But let us not let that come between all of us... MORE SARA! She was fun!!!
There is a sink sprayer if you look at the studio. It just looks so much like the rest of the faucet that you don't notice it
I came in late 2day but I did leave a comment you might like
Great Murphy bed in that first apartment.
The best part was seeing the space saving ideas! I love that full length mirror with the cabinet behind it. I wonder if I can find that somewhere? Feels like an IKEA idea…. And I want to design my kitchen like an NYC kitchen with the appliances looking like part of the cabinetry.
Google "full length mirror medicine cabinet". I hope that helps! It does look very nice!
I think I would be genuinely embarrassed to pay that much for a unit of that size with these amenities
Hi Cash wow that is a beautiful millennial small apartment in the heart of NYC. Stay well and safe great tour 👍
No1 Sara is a Very Pretty Lady! No2 I think Cash should start making Videos of him going around New York just commentating on shops and Restaurants! I'D LOVE THAT!!🇬🇧👍
Nice building immenities & units... Cool Murphy bed!
“Millennials build a supermarket with Boomer money.” 😂
@@amandagreen8568 .....N O T E V E N C L O S E T O I T! We just dont waste it on ANYTHING millennials OR gen z will mess up!
@@amandagreen8568 It’s a Cash Jordan quote in the video.
That store looked awesome. If I shopped there I'd be eating some great food but I'd definitely have to up my food budget...
Awesome job cash see you tomorrow morning
So I'm watching this again because this looks like where I would actually want to live when I'm a REALLY OLD grandma and don't want a lot of areas to clean. Like, I would hobble down to the street for breakfast, hobble back to the building and ride the elevator back to my apartment where I could take a nap until I hobble back downstairs to pick up a to-go dinner and hobble back upstairrs...
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that one bed. The views, the corner unit, the windows. Oh so dreamy!!! Of course it's twice what I pay on the mortgage for my 4 bed / 3 bath 2k sq ft place though.
My favorite part of nyc. I recommend party bus bakery. Great bakery.
This is Gonna b so Interesting CJ🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Tuesday😀….
I actually loved the studio!
Happy Wife Happy Life, 💜 plus grandma gets to see her grandbabies.🌀 Hope to see some cool Japan footage you have a pretty good radar for the spots ✨✨✨🌀
Nice market 😃Tiny apartment for a lot of money 💰
Good Day !
Cool apartment at a seemingly reasonable rent for NYC.
Nice Apartment, Sara its so Cute and Cool.
FABULOUS FABULOUS FABULOUS
Luv the supermarket, luv the apartment , luv the vibe 👍👍👍💗💗💗
Quite the bijou finds Cash. That building with the ton of amenities was TO DIE FOR!! Hoping your 2024 has started off happy and healthy!👍😊
🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦
One of the nicest Apts I have seen you show.. I wish I worked more in NYC
Nice building. I really appreciate the Miele appliances.
I would take that first little place in a second if I could work in the States!! It looks so cozy.
Hahaha, WOW, this apartment was really prepared for Cash!
The agent reminds me of Anna Farris.
Love the neighborhood tours. That supermarket looks amazing!! Cool you enter all sides too (one by my house closed off the street side entrance after all the stuff going on in 2020).
I liked this apartment.
Hi Cash! Love your amazing videos! You would make a terrific advertisement for all New York has to offer! Beautiful apartments but the rent is way way to high!
Really cool apartments
Apartments are beautiful the last one😍
I really love this first apartment. They really furnished it nicely and the views from the window and the window itself is really nice I felt very a cozy warm vibe in there. The only drawback that I see in this apartment is the rent. For a mere 350 sq.ft., the rent seems a little excessive. Other than that I haven't any complaints..👏👍
good job on this cool looking apt
Beautiful apt and the kitchen area, living room is nice...the bedroom makes the whole place !❤ If i decided to return to Brooklyn I will look this one up..if available.thank you for showing..
She needs to be in EVERY video.
She’s very pretty 😂
Very cool tiny abode but I'm too much of a stuff junkie to live in a place that small. I'm a maximalist and an artist. Besides which the price is astronomical. But I do like it!
I felt the same trying to picture where all my stuff would go.
She is a Cutie Pie 😍 and I love this Building/ Apartment even though the Apartment is small!!!
You really get your moneys worth with this apartment and I love it…
These are gorgeous apartments. Pricey, but gorgeous.
it's ridiculous that the inventions people are coming out with is how to live like a sardine, and they do it with smiles for ya.. even though they themselves would NEVER fkn live there lol.
Hey ya'll. If you're quiet about your pain, they'll kill you and say you enjoyed it.
That looks like a nice place for the gal there.. she can live there. Have at er.
I want more for my fellow humble individuals.. like an actual functional home, from which they don't want to leave, and don't fkn have to.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You vill own nothing and be happy
I'm right there with you.
She probably nets about a grand a month... but gets a "free" one-bedroom apartment to live in. I put "free" in quotes, because the rent is considered part of her salary for tax purposes.
Us, we own our 2500 sq.ft. home in the desert free and clear...
That's the thing about NYC, nobody stays in these apartments for long. They stay a year or two then they move on. No matter how they think they can afford it, they can't. Rents keep going up. NYC is a crazy place.
Reminds me of the Reading Terminal Market in Philly...
Nice to see what's old is new again. I like the Murphy bed.
Awesome day
We live in NYC free of charge thanks to Cash and friends. Can you imagine 6700 every 30 days?
Murphy beds are making a comeback big time👍🏾👍🏾.
Both apartments are amazing, but she (4:56) is the best thing about this video!
Futon! Floor bed!❤
That kitchen looks like a kitchen you'd find in an Italian home, except they have 4-5 burner cook tops & ovens. But their frigs are like that one, smaller sinks, little counter space. I wonder how they cook great food in the tiny kitchens!!!!
Seward Park is The Walking Commuter 's favourite park ! And it's not too far from his favourite bridge either , Williamsburg Bridge 😄
Hey cash! plz make a video updating the conditions in nyc
Cute unit every time I look at your video I hate myself for not moving to New York City in my younger years
I'm initially from NY and lived in Manhattan during my 20s.. I relocated to the DC metro a few years ago and prefer DC metro to NYC, but I'm happy that I had the quintessential NYC experience.
that studio is super nice =)
Sara is cool. That said, as cool as she is, if I had that kind of money, I would use that dough towards my monthly mortgage payment and live across the street from Central Park in yesterdays killer 2 bedroom condo. To me, that condo and its location beats living at The Suffolk hands down. Sorry!
o
i want to live there
Cash where is the bed your sitting on it 🤣🔥🤣
Cash, Beautiful pads! Great location. Sara was a nice fit. Tell her she carries herself very well. You are both meant to work on camera. Your opening has pizazz. Quick edits fit and your coverage was great. You always make me miss NYC-as always thanks for the laughter. Great job! Keep going!☮️👏👏👏👏👏👏
Really fascinating studio; I'm really impressed by the way it integrates into the building, which is so feature packed! Do you know if something like this exists in Boston, MA?
Love he pansy pots outside,,,that grocery store concept I had in Portland, Oregon and it is cool........love everything and that studio would be great for my dream..things are so expensive that that is what you pay for so much less..coming furnished somewhat....for my dream,,face it, I need good windows and stuff...you are in the real city location...looking very cool..and wonderful modern like that is as cool as the wonderful brick thing...I need elevators...would they let a 60 something in there for a 6 mo to a year deal???
Was thus built/ designed by the team that did the new Dumbo Buildings (325 Kent etc, similar common areas)
The studio gave hotel room vibes. Trying to picture it with comfortable furniture & a less sterile feel.🥱
Really? Hmm... interesting. We have seen those types in the past here but this one (for me) felt comfortable and quite livable.
@@sinash I guess (make that know, lol) that I have too much stuff to make that studio work but I love the idea of it.
$3760!!!!! Christ on the Cross!!!
Cash always says "good pressure", when the water pressure is good, adequate or terrible... most of the time, it is terrible, lol!
hello, hello
Hi.
Hi Cash. I love the Murphy bed studio. I can’t afford it. LOL I do own HomeDepot stock! Yeah
Nice speaker name.
Nice ❤
I cannot believe how prices on these tiny apartments. These videos make me so happy I don't live in NY. I still live in a global capital city, in a one bedroom flat with a full sized kitchen separate from the living room, located in a nice neighbourhood for a fraction of the price of this teeny studio.
Yeah what I want is a bunch of amenity spaces that never work out and a shoebox apartment. 😂
Either you have the most state of the art zom on your camera (which would account for the lens not fogging up) when you get those INCREDIBLE close ups of people!! Honestly? My Absolute Favorite part of your videos!! Charles gets it the most and he never looks happy. I'm sure he's a good sport.😁😎 Love your channel bro! Subscribed. Watch and Like 👍🏻 All your videos!!✌🏻
Supposed to be ZOOM!!😡😠 Stupid touchscreen keyboard! Never had that problem on my Blackberry keyONE!!😁😎
cash w the wild bridge thumbnail cheese lmfaooo. another fire vid.
good morning Cash
$6700 is a lot for a 1 bedroom
You're basically paying for the upkeep of the amenities, if they weren't there it would've been cheaper but also wouldn't sell.
Mele $$ love there products
I'm from New Zealand and these prices are on average 1,400 to 3,000 NZD. I have a two bed one bath unit with a yard and garden fully fenced and internal garage for 520NZD. for the prices in America on a whole you'd be able to hit a mortgage for a 5 bed 3 bath mansion here. I mean I've worked it out for my son and I to live in NY I'd need to make about 200,000 NZD annual.
Incredible building with so much thought having gone into it! That has to be the best-designed studio that Cash has ever shown.
The apartments are great, the views are fantastic, the agent very sweet and the amenities absolutely awesome!
11:10 …Williamsburg Bridge 😊 The place looks awesome but there’s no way I can afford this. I happen to live across the street and see this place everyday.
3670 for a studio like that isn't so bad compared to some in brooklyn i've been to. Definitely premium though. I happen to work in the basement attached to these apts. Lol
That's right cash let her know your married. Proud of you cash and your wife is pretty and your kids are so cute love you cash
The pickle guys😮
The market is similar to Philadelphia's Reading Terminal
4:06 probably 'cause you have your shoes on :P
Great video by the way!
There is definitely some boxing in your past my man, good form!
Sign me up for the one BR It checked all the boxes great layout with the in unit W/D & good views 😉😎
That market is awesome. Apartments are not bad.
