- This apartment is so cool, and the best thing about it is NOBODY knows how great it is because its in a totally unexpected location not visible from the streets of New York City.

that AC installation point looks like a perfect way for a thief to get in
Cash, I’m sure the last thing you need is a request for you to work longer hours, but it would be really cool to see. Mix of rooftop apartments with shots taken at dusk so you show the atmosphere with lights on! Just a thought 😊
Great idea! But he has a house full of women, lol. Not gonna happen
I think we need at least one episode with Alex and Charles together. I think they would play well together and you 3 would have a blast 😂
Nice expensive apartments 😁
There was one yesterday.
I totally agree
Yep. Alex brought two winners today. I actually liked the 2nd unit ($4500/month) much better even though it's a two-bed and just one bath. I liked that layout much better than the first unit ($4500/month) two-bed and 1 1/2 bath. The snack area of the second unit felt like more of a kitchen because of the room through the pass-through. The Easy-Bake kitchen in the first unit... well. Anyway, they're nicely priced and in a great area.
2nd was definitely way better. Don't remember if there was a laundry room in the basement tho. You know how much I hate spiral staircases. No wonder the deck furniture was staying up there. & you better like the other tenant since there's no fencing blocking them
@@MamaCarola1 But... can't we all just get a long??? 🙄
@sinash safe answer...it depends you know?
lol, what a deal!
Second unit for me, if I were going to rent one of them. I would make the budget work to have the whole place to myself and not share the solitary bathroom with a roomie. Love the roof access for sure. And yeah, it has the better kitchen, too. See you in the next video Mr Jordan.
I get claustrophobic just watching this.
Cash- You and Alex made the day brighter with energy and enthusiasm. Great fun today. Keep going. ☮️👏👏👏👏
The one thing your videos have taught me is that being a mover in New York has to be the worst job with all those upper story apartments with narrow stairways, not to mention the stairs within the apartments themselves. I always hope that someone will mention a utility elevator for the movers.
Do most/any apartments allow dogs?
Ohhhh, TRUST ME! One PAYS the movers for all of their efforts!
@@sinash Ohhhh, we do trust you!
Both apartments have a functional layout - nice style - love the roof deck.
Always LOVE the vids Cash❤ Alex is showing more of his personality ❤
That glass container you thought needed to be a terrarium is called a "carboy" and it's used in the fermentation stage for home brewing and home winemaking. Anyone with good sense would be using it on the deck to make beer because when you go to bottle beer, you want to do it on the deck because it gets pretty messy (I speak from firsthand knowledge).
Or a piggy bank
You guys are just to cute and funny! Both places look great, aspecially the outside area that I would definitely enjoy 🥰
Hi Cash and to your very fabulous tiny house apartment in NYC. Another great view from the rooftop. Stay well and safe 👍😎
The last one was great. Good video and tour. See ya
I want to see a video of someone carrying a mattress up those spiral stairs 😂. Would the kitchen in the first one qualify as "symbolic"?
🤣🤣🤣😂
😅 It could be a fun video
I liked these a lot. Love the upper west side.
Love it when Alex is on!
Love watching your channel
I lived in NYC all my life. I had a 6 room apartment and rent was $800. Huge Huge apartment. Rent controlled . All stores were close by. The ONLY reason we left NYC was coz the new building owners paid us a fortune to move. Going rate is $100,000. So we used the money to put a downpayment on a house by the Jersey shore. And we are 90mins away from NYC so I can go back any time I want . I usually do, to shop. We love it here. We have a small secret private beach a few mins away. And beautiful huge parks with lakes and hiking. We don’t miss NYC . The landlord of my old $800 apartment renovated it and is now making about $5500 a month . So they’re making their money back . I don’t care, we have two cars that we couldn’t park anywhere in NYC. It was a nightmare finding parking for our cars. Here we have plenty of parking right on our property and driveway . NYC is overrated . I don’t get why ppl want to live there. I’d never go back. I actually hated living in NYC . But we love it here.
Awesome job. Cash see you tomorrow morning
And i'll see him the afternoon!👍
It’s an awesome apart…I am assuming 5th floor walk up? There are 3 locks on the door to roof deck, but 2 huge windows on the roof deck and an AC sleeve you can kick in and gain access. Huge safety flags for $4500.
That's a great deck, but you share the space, and it's accessed via the master bedroom. Sixth-floor walkup would get old. The second unit has a more private but less interesting deck and more kitchen/living space, but it's also a multi-floor walkup and no mention of laundry in the building. I do like proximity of these units to Central Park.
I loved the second one!! Blessings Cash 🌻
I'm glad there are people who want to live in big cities and live in such apartments. God bless you and stay there.
Happy Wednesday CJ😀n This is Gonna b so Cool🔥🔥🔥👍….
“There’s a hand towel…😮 - never mind.”
#2 apartment I would put curtains in the living room and turn that to a bedroom and make the sunny room the living room. The living room would then be a nice bright place to hang out or work.
Two vids. Opposite ends of the property scale. Jamin yesterday (bringing the fantasy listings, well for most of us) and Alex today (bringing the realistic listings, for most of us!)
Love the 2nd one the best. The stairs going to the rooftop are so much better than the 1st one and so is the kitchen
Two great apartments but my old knees screamed at me at the thought of going up all those stairs! If my knees were younger, I'd take either of those in a heartbeat.
Why is that?
I love your videos. Keep 'em coming. Can't get enough. I particularly enjoy when you show case the tiny places like the little Harry Potter closet under the stairs. It doesn't go unnoticed!
Finally! Two units that seem to be winners for a price, well, for NYC is fairly decent. More like these Cash.
I know, right!
I wouldnt call $4500/mo rent something that falls into budget territory.
Considering the current rental pricing in NYC... it's a budget bordering on bargain!
@@sinash All those great restaurants, clubs and art studios makes it worth every penny. One can't get enough. It's just amazing. Look at me!
Only in NYC is 2200 a month be considered affordable - and that is a per person amount!
Beautiful apartments! I love seeing your videos and showing the neighborhood. I also appreciate your humor-never change!😅
I like that second one 😊
Its a great little place - but to think you're going to get a king sized bed up that skinny spiraling staircase is funny too, let alone any other decent furniture- you'd HAVE to assemble everything up there. And putting dshwashers in kitchens you only use paper plates & possibly a few coffee cups is funny too.
The walking closet 🤣😂 under the stair!!!! My godd you are hilarious!!!
Upper West Side is such a great area to live. Both apartments are good but #1 has a very small kitchen so #2 is my fav. Thanks.
Damn, love all your co-hosts. Charles, Jamin and my fave, the hawt Alex. 🎉
Walk-ups with no in-unit laundry. Not necessarily a deal breaker, especially if you're young. I now apparently live in a walk-up building bcuz "dueto the elevators being flooded (from the heavy rains) they will be out of order for the 'immediatefuture' (whateverthat means). & the neighborhood is definitely good & plenty of restaurants to choose from. Personally i think the 2nd place is better bcuz the stairs up to the roof deck are way easier to navigate & it's not gong through 1 of the bedrooms. Price for that area is surprisingly affordabe compared to others.
Yes! The price was shockingly affordable given the location to Central Park. I see a couple/partnered or roommate situ in either one. But a roommate situ would work quite well in the second unit. Sorry about your elevator. That's a pain in the ass-ets. Though, that was A LOT of rain we had. I feared we would be on course for another major flood.
@sinash it was. Never thought the elevators would be flooded, especially since there's no water around & the building is only 2-3 years old. Guess I won't be keeping amazon, fedex or ups drivers busy for a bit lol.
What state are you in MamaCarola?
@@nygrl6102 I live right here in NYC
@@MamaCarola1 I hope to visit this year. Want to go to the Guggenheim and the Neue Gallerie.
i watch these damn videos all day... keep doing blood
😃 I can't wait to see what you have for us today!
Wow...your "Friends" Fantasy places...upper west with more hip shaking fun then Mambo night at Club Tiki..Awesome Jordan!!
Cash, love your vids! Love when you and Alex are together in the vids! Just realized the draw is you're more like brother's on the same wave length! Great chemistry, but I do like all your vids 😂
Love the house with roofdeck keep up the good work
5:57 That view out the window is perfect
I know right? Buildings with people and streets, gotta love it! I'd think $6000 a month would be totally worth it. Coffee close by and I am sure some type of ethnic restaurant is right around the corner. Paradise!
Ahha, that's the district my friend ran for city council two years ago.
Upper West Side is still a nice area, and so affordable. It took me no time getting to/from there from Lower Manhattan and more interesting things, if that's where you wanna be.
You're so interesting knowing such amazing people.
❤ the 2nd apartment, and yes Cash with my level of OCD I would definitely be cleaning and cleaning that bathroom 💯🤣🙌❤️🏴☀️
Winner winner chicken dinner 💜
Alex is back!
It's funny that Cash as three back up singers Charles,Alex and Lin they all appear to be very good at what they do alright New York.
i love the channel but i always amazed about how New Yorkers really enjoy seeing some extra spacw.. funny thing i want my family to omve to the states and live in Seattle
You are Spider-Cash and that jump is no problem for you. Glad you didn't get stuck in the Harry Potter room. :-)
Nice apartments Alex took you to today !
That bird 1:22 with the long crocodile bill is a woodcock or as I call them..meeps. they do a weird jive like walk, look them up on youtube.
Hello! The Best vídeos of neighborhood!
Apartment 2, by a landslide.
Second apartment was far better. It has an actual kitchen with a full sized frig. You would have a tough time getting furniture up the spiral staircase in the first apartment. You would need to take everything up the general building stairway and across the roof.
Insane prices. I hope you find someone for them. Always sticker shock for me since I live in the Midwest. Nice location.
Suckers. But hey, think of of those great restaurants!
Hi cash, i just noticed it now. But im watching your videos now mostly to see alex 😂❤....
I'm waiting for the tiny home always gets me
Wow. Keeping hope alive.
Both great apartments!
No complaints from me at all, I like them Both 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥…
You need to do one of these after sunset.
really wonderful place to lives
Cash .. you're cute and funny as always. More so here.
How do you get the bedroom furniture up that spiral staircase???? Can you tear down the wall by the refrigerator please?
A triangular closet! How charming, LOL
Love your videos. Having lived outside of NYC for a few years now, I much prefer my current living situations. We get SO MUCH MORE for under $2K/mo it seems ridiculous to live in a fourth floor walkup closet apartment at double the price - no matter how lovely the rooftop deck.
Like the second one for the kitchen bc I cook! I can’t afford to eat out everyday but perhaps breakfast and lunch is affordable couple times a week for sure. I’d want the bedroom facing the street as well. Plus the stairs were real not one of those spiral stairs deal… and the price was affordable for the area. Alas, not affordable to me however. I live vicariously through Cash apartments 🫣
Ist apartment no door on the master bedroom. 2nd Nice roof as you don’t have a neighbour and much better layout. Thank you. May you both please take care and stay safe.
I think u should let alex take over the channel for a day. He is quite handsome af
If I was gonna live in Manhattan upper west side is perfect.
I Love the 1st apartment with the spiral staircase leading to the semi private roof. It's great that there's a bathroom & closet in the upstairs bedroom and I would use the downstairs bedroom as my livingroom. The common space would be a dining room & pieces of art. The walk-in closet is marvelous. And Cash, that is a true walk-in closet; unlike 99% of the other closets in your videos that you mistakenly call walk-in closets.
"pieces or art"
@@alanrogs3990 You're correct. Pieces of art sounds like I'm cutting up art into little pieces. I should of just said art. Duly noted.
@@robertharris4100 No, no. I was just being a jerk. Enjoy!
Serious question, the first apartment upstairs bedromm how just how would you get any bed/furniture up ynose spiral steps?
With great difficulty!
Me with NY Rental money, I for sure would Love to go back to live in my beautiful New York. Loved that first apartment or maybe the second, don’t know they both beautiful to me.
Awesome day
Can you fence off your deck/door so no one looks in or tries to open your door? Second apartment is much better both inside and outside space. The second small bedroon I would make into either a dining room or a tv room. Would put a smal hand rail going all the way up to roofdeck.
Good Day !
He’s always so aggressive 😂
how would you get a bed assembly up those steps?
2nd apartment ftw
How do you bring any furniture up that tiny curve staircase???
Defo the second one for me, safer stairs. 😊😊
“Budget department territory” depends a lot on what your budget is. An old friend of mine moved to NYC a long time ago and her “budget” was 12k a month. So yeah……mine would be 1k, at the most. Lol
nice apartments I like spiral staircases
unique new york unique new york
Do these units offer appts have alarm systems?
Watching this channel makes me thankful I don’t live in NY. “Come live in a shoebox for ten grand a month with no yard!” 😅
2 equal apartments. Each with own pros and cons. All works out totally equal. Good choices.👍
Any places that don't have rooftops suicide stairs? Something closer to the ground. I get so dizzy.
You better bet on that picture of grandma...hahahaha
I actually liked the 2nd kitchen - and you know me.
You'd think they could supply a $350 AC unit for the price.
cool! #1 roof deck. 6fl walkup...ouch but aerobic workout for $4500..#2...much better for same price!!
Your constant sub travel makes me nervous. You a true New Yorker no fear at all . NYC was one of the favorite places I spent time with my great past career. Business I was in spent San Fran , EUROPE , Africa . But all the sad downfall . That’s the past .
I grew up in the 60s and 70s; the Subway was more dangerous then. I ride it now, when I.m in the city, with no problems.
The Tiny house titles. Thwap. Number two will do...Poet, but I know it😂.😉
Alex ... yum!
HEYYYY, I am a teacher, a single lady, do NOT want roommates. What income does a high school teacher make in NY, and where do they live?
