Pro tip: on a sunny day, zap them in the morning with vinegar or something. By afternoon they'll be somewhat dried up, and then they go up like kindling from the torch. Much bigger flames. Good times.

One of my favorite yard tasks. I love letting the weeds get good sized and then burning them to the ground. Tip for those new to torching weeds - don't torch weeds in beds with wood mulch. Bad idea. Don't ask

You think I'd be an idiot for carrying around the 5 gallon propane tank in a regular back pack? I see these backpack kits running from 100-300 bucks and I ask myself, why not throw it in a regular backpack? Is there some safety hazard I'm missing?

I JUST bought one of those, not to kill weeds but "suckers", that sprout off of tree roots in flower beds, or branches that keep sprouting off of tree trunks, and it worked GREAT. Tried products like Sucker Punch but was laborious and didn't work well. And it was fun and easy.

I live in the UK and where i live plenty of streets have weeds the asphalt has cracked along the curbs. I do burn them the weeds as it's quicker especially with taller ones then spray a bit of bleach down the root until it's weak enough to pull out. Got to be careful as you can melt the asphalt.
