Thank you Alan 🤗 I only recently discovered you 😄 I have a lot of catching up to do 👀! Your format of Rupert’s understandings are THE BEST 😀👍 (Too much too quickly on these subjects - I get lost!) 😮 I so appreciate how you present these easily digestible ‘bite-size’ nuggets of wisdom ☺️ they nourish & edify my spirit 🤗
Thank you so much for this wonderful conversation! It reminds me very much of Bernardo Kastrup 's idea of a dissociative boundary through which we experience the Mind at Large.
Wishing you a fabulous 2025 New Year, Alan! 🙏🙏 Please know how all of us who follow your superb compilations are so very grateful for the loving energy you are sending out into Planet Earth and the Cosmos! 🌎
There is a fascinating analogy between experiencing a body and reality, coming from quantum foam: realizing the body with closed eyes will let it appear as " something vibrating cloudlike, but focusing your attention on where you normally see for instance your left foot, imagining it and naming it foot seems to cristallize a footlike appearance. Similarly, focusing your attention on something graspable seems to cristallize particles out of quantum foam or waves, being the formless potentiality of all appearing forms.
Thanks Alan! Here´s another point of view from which one may conclude, and experience, why being attached to any phenomena (a relationship, an activity, an ideology, etc.) is, sooner or later, revealed as a delusion.
for some of us, the intellects, we need models to broker the knowledge, to silence the mind. my advice if you find beauty in the models, keep working with them, keep learning them, but use them as means to create passion for abiding in self, which is where the magic starts to develop and the identity shift happens gradually but surely. when passion is present, self abiding (the portal for deep stage realization) is much easier to do.
the video explores the complex philosophical concept of non-duality, but its presentation contains some problematic interpretations and generalizations. while the analogies and thought experiments can be helpful for exploring consciousness, it's crucial to avoid misinterpreting non-dual teachings as denying the reality of experience or promoting a disregard for the physical world. it's also important to recognize that non-duality is a philosophical perspective, not a scientifically verifiable fact.
So enjoyable when Alan is going through a productive phase 🙂 ❤

No longer a self, me, I or Ego. Nor a Witness or Observer. Neither a sense of Being. No Owner or Agent is found.

I really want to stop intellectualising and overanalysing. I just want to be peaceful. But intelligence overpowers. I feel stuck.
@@sumanjoshi7902 go with your intelligence but mix it with the direct experience of presence. That will serve you well ❣️🙏

This is my problem as well. So much thirst for learning, understanding, and following my curiosity in the dream.
