      @@alanneachell9092 Yes, it is inexplicable from the average human state of consciousness to understand his immaculate quality of perception.
      And, upon encountering his teaching and conversing with us, at that lofty level, we become more and more aware, striving to continue with full confidence in him, and his methods.
      Coming from the old schools of massive discipline and concentration, entrenched in those methods, watching his ease and his absolute encouragement and confidence in us, non-judgmentally, is such a relief and stimulus to continue in this vein.
      Also, we just can’t overlook, he is giving us this clarity in the format of complete mastery of the English language. Therefore, he is able to create wire-thin distinctions in his explanations, that others were not endowed with.
      And, in addition to all of the aforesaid, add to that his magnanimous heart, love, compassion and dedication, committed to making it as easy as possible for all to understand, and avoiding the pitfalls that he encountered.
      I think that about covers it.
      Oh, and he is just an all-around amiable chap, with a pleasant disposition.

    I experienced something like this a long time ago, when I was about 14 - I was not a conscious seeker by any means, but I was trying to hold onto or experience, the sense that I was on this planet earth and that there was nothing but emptiness above and below and that if I fell off the earth I would plunge into this nothingness for ever. For a split second, it seemed as if a vast void opened up and that I was about to be annihilated, and at the same time, a split second of pure terror, which brought me back. I didn't realise at the time, what that was all about.

    Hello Alan. Can you explain the relationship we perceive between cause and effect in the context of the dimensionless reality of awareness?

    • @alanneachell9092
      @alanneachell9092  Рік тому +2

      So, it's as if there are two presentations of the single reality.
      There is a seeming reality built on concepts that claim time and space and cause and effect etc.
      Then there is the actual reality of raw data. The raw data is our direct experience when we put aside all concepts and look nakedly at experience.
      We find that there is only the here and now and when we look for here we can't find it as a location and when we look for now we see that it's not in time. Without time and space there can be no cause and effect.
      There is nothing wrong with the seeming world of concepts of time and space and cause and effect, but it's a very poor and limited translation of what is given by the raw data.
      Hope this is helpful ❣️🙏

    When we rest in and as awareness we don’t instantly know the mind of god,we just become quiet, we never cease to be a finite entity. Is there yet another layer that we can go ‘back’ to reach the knowing of true infinite awareness and ‘know the mind of god’, or does this only happen on death of the physical body?

    • @alanneachell9092
      @alanneachell9092  Рік тому +1

      When we recognise ourselves as awareness or presence at first it may not seem like much. Some even find it boring which reveals that there is still a mixing of the direct experience of presence and the old idea of individuality.
      As we acknowledge the truth of ourselves more and more we may start to have moments where no finite entity can be found because there is no finite entity other than the idea that there is.
      As the recognition of what we really are becomes more stable, we loose our apparent finiteness and love and God are recognised as being the same thing.

    • @alanneachell9092
      @alanneachell9092  Рік тому +1

      @@kennethwilliams4169 King Lear can't know John Smith via King Lear (ego) as King Lear is only an idea.
      John Smith discovers that he was always John Smith.
      We come to recognise that when we say "I" we are referring to John Smith.
      We don't have to wait for the death of the physical body.
