Opening Day: 50th Anniversary Celebration

On May 16 and 17, 2015, the Black River & Western Railroad celebrated 50 years of steam railroading in Hunterdon County, NJ. To celebrate, the railroad sold tickets for the original 1965 prices. The weekend also marked the official return to service of our CNJ 1009 coach. This video includes footage of the entire ceremony held in Flemington on May 16, and an overview of May 17. Kudos to that! Quite a shame they repainted LV #112. Thankfully I hear it will be repainted back into the LV paint scheme. I'd love a triple header with LV #414, #112, and #211.
