I enjoyed your video, although I am disappointed with how my Creation is perceived. I am the author of Forgotten Frontiers and would like to provide a little context to my Creation. I worked for over five months on it and for over 1100 hours. Dark Universe Takeover is a great mod, however the 50 locations from Dark Universe Takeover are all basically the same base and lack proper DMP volumes so the enemies run right out of the bases. The five new dungeons from Forgotten Frontiers are larger than most POI in the game and are extensively tested and supported. Each new location has lore and environmental storytelling you will discover as you explore and fight your way through. I genuinely think people will enjoy the mod and I will be continuing to ensure people are satisfied with their purchase.
I mean no offense, but, tge fact is its an outrageous price tag for a few pois when many other creators make many more extensive mods for free... grindterra being the big one that comes to mind, I'm sure you worked very hard but hear me out, a high price tag is gonna detour players especially at half the price of a dlc package typically... if you make your mods and make the price fitting for what it is (1 or 2 dollar content) you'll get more sales... I said it in the video it's not about mod quality perse, it's about you trying to make a quick buck off of others player and their love of the game... getting 1000 $1 sales is better that 10 $6 sales... its the influx of paid content for recycled pois and ingame assets that is the issue...
However there is a disclaimer on the creations store that makes the player or customer acknowledge that sometimes these mods can cause problems, which means there's no guarantee and you can send it to that just by using their store and you saw the message as you went into the store, so it pretty much means you can't make any demands. However with my other comment, I believe this mod author in question is attempting to disincentivize people from using this system until Bethesda actually does something to make it worthwhile, cuz right now at the stage people are blind they just see a bunch of s*** on the store and there's no way to review or great anything from the mods page based off of how they set it up.
This the typa rant I love completely warranted, I agree with every point, but seeing that you have so many of the paid mods had be cackling like stop taking the abuse 😭😭😭, just stop put the wallet down it’s okay 😂😂
I have a couple groups and test mods for others and let ppl know if it's worth it or not... however, yeah now I won't spend anymore money unless it's from an author I actually like haha
So I have a theory, this particular mud author doesn't actually like bethesda's store and they're trying to incentivize or Dee incentivize people from using it by jacking up the price on a worthless mod, because they know that Bethesda doesn't attempt at anything on improving the mod store, they're trying to basically give people the basic information that's bethesda's store will never be worth it so long as they don't have anybody doing anything in the background to make sure that scams like this don't get through, Bethesda had an idea and they didn't really think it through. They're absolutely should be a report button on certain mods, and they're also should be some kind of checker the person who tests these mods before they are out for the public to consume and use, meaning there's a bunch of people testing the mods that are released especially when it comes to this nonsense, but the other thing is there should be review system, and modders should have to prove themselves Worthy of creating paid mods and the system, but Bethesda hasn't done that and that's where that would be through the free mod section, because there needs to be checks and balances in order to be an effective system that people want to use, clearly Bethesda didn't think this through, and there's no way of talking to Bethesda because they don't f******check on any of this s***like they should. Anyway this is my opinion, I don't think this mod author is actually trying to make money, I think this person is abusing the system to force Bethesda to actually doing something about it, if enough people complain and enough people take their concerns and give their business to Bethesda, then maybe something will be done, there needs to be a feedback button for God's sake Bethesda is beyond ignorant.
Ummm there's tons of free mods...most infact are free that's the whole point.. idk what starfield has to do with what you said it's the modders charging lmao that's the issue idk what your on about besides just hating on starfield we have nexus just like every game does😂
@@Dankdayz707 he's making the same point as you, and Novus is a giant list of mods all for free, i would argue to use this modlist it is free however it can be payed if the person playing wants to skip all the complexities of modding on PC, and only click one button. the example on PC is that you can find a modlist such as nolvus, maybe it's 500 mods and all you have to pay for the entire list of mods, not per mod like bethesda scam, you only pay 3 bucks a month just to get the full service that does everything for you with a single click, now it is also free, but that is very time consuming and you the player have to worry about load order and conflicts and other such nonsense, it's just easier to pay the 3 bucks. but my guess is you are on console right?
that horse armor started it all

You either die a modder or you live long enough to become Bethesda.
I'm no longer excited by Elder Scrolls 6. Bethesda's track record killed it for me.
This rant was right up my alley hahaha
😂👍
my brother in christ, just get a pc.

There's no way in game for people to leave reviews either.

Fight me in the comments if I made you mad 😂
Nolvus for Skyrim is free. GAMMA for Stalker is free. Starfield won’t be able to compete, tragic.
